Product Overview
The 4×1 USB-C & HDMI KVM Switcher is a device that allows sharing among 4 different computers using a set of KVM devices. It has one USB-C input and three HDMI 2.0+USB 3.0 inputs. The USB-C port provides full-featured support, including data, video, and charging functions, and can provide up to 60W of charging power to the connected laptop. Product Usage Instructions
Follow these steps to use the 4×1 USB-C & HDMI KVM Switch:
- Connect the USB-C input to the laptop using the USB Type-C to Type-C Cable.
- Connect the HDMI inputs to the computers using the HDMI 2.0 Cable.
- Connect the USB peripherals to the USB ports on the switch.
- Connect the Mic and headphone to the corresponding ports on the switch.
- Connect the HDMI output to the display using an HDMI cable.
- Power on the switch using the Power Adapter.
- Select the input source among inputs 1-4 using the INPUT 1~4 Selection Buttons on the Front Panel or using the IR remote control or hotkey control.

Overview
This product is a 4×1 USB-C & HDMI KVM Switcher. It supports sharing among 4
different computers using a set of KVM devices. It supports one USB-C input
and three HDMI 2.0+USB 3.0 inputs. The USB-C port provides full-featured
support, including data, video, and charging functions, and can provide up to
60W of charging power to the connected laptop.
The device provides a variety of peripheral interfaces to meet the needs of
the work and home office. It supports one HDMI 2.0 video output, two USB 3.0
and one USB 2.0 data port, one USB 1.1 hotkey dedicated port, one Mic, and one
headphone port.
It also provides a variety of manual control functions, including button
control, IR remote control, and hotkey control.
It provides a wide compatible choice for different operating systems, such as
Windows, Mac OS, and Linux, no driver required, and simple plug-and-play.

Selection Buttons and LED 1~4
| INPUT 1~4 Selection Buttons: Press the button to select one input source
among inputs 1-4 as the input source.
LED 1~4: LEDs are located on the right of the buttons.
On: The corresponding input (1~4) is selected.
Off: The corresponding input (1~4) is not selected.
3| IR Window| Receive IR signals.
4| USB| USB 1.1: USB 1.1 type-A port, can be used to connect to a USB slave
device (such as a keyboard) for KVM function. When connect a keyboard to it,
the keyboard can be used for Hotkey function. It can supply maximum 5V/1A
power output.
| | USB 2.0: USB 2.0 type-A port, can be used to connect to USB 2.0 high-speed
device (such as USB mouse, USB removable hard disk) for KVM function. It can
supply maximum 5V/0.5A power output.
USB 3.0: USB 3.0 type-A port, can be used to connect to USB 3.0 super-speed device (such as USB camera) for KVM function. It can supply maximum 5V/1A power output.

USB type-C to type-C cable (USB 3.1 Gen 1 or above).
Connect to a USB host device such as a laptop.
It supports three functions:
- For transmitting video signal as an input source, users can switch to input 1 to select USB-C IN1 as input source for HDMI output;
- For transmitting USB data as a host port, when select USB-C IN1 as input source, the USB devices can be connected to the laptop connected with USB-C IN1 port;

Note: Each set of USB HOST and HDMI port must be connected to the same computer.
Application
Warnings:
- Before wiring, disconnect the power from all devices.
- During wiring, connect and disconnect the cables gently.
Control of the Switcher
Front Panel Control
Users can choose to use front panel buttons to do basic switching operations.
- Connect the switcher as required and power on all the attached devices.
- Press the corresponding INPUT button (1-4) to select USB-C IN 1/HDMI IN 2/HDMI IN 3/HDMI IN 4 as the input source.
IR Remote Control
The included remote handset can be used to turn on and off a CEC-enabled
display device and to switch four HDMI sources to one display device.
Point the remote handset directly at the IR windows on the front panel.

System Code Switch
The IR Remote provided with the switcher is shipped in “00” IR system code. In
the event that Remote’s IR signal interferes with IR devices, e.g., TV, DVD
player, the Remote can be switched to “4E” code by short pressing the System
Code Switch on the Remote panel.
Hotkey Function
One USB 1.1 port on the front panel of the switcher supports keyboard Hotkey function. Supported Hotkey: Tab (default)/Left Ctrl/Right Ctrl/Caps Lock

For example:
If you want to use the “Left Ctrl” as a hotkey, press the “Left Ctrl” key
twice quickly to switch the hotkey to it, and other hotkeys are invalid. If
you need to use other hotkeys, please repeat the above steps.
Note: This port supports 1A high-current output, which can support high-
power mechanical keyboards with RGB LEDs.

Products are backed by a limited 1-year parts and labor warranty. For the following cases AV Access Technology Limited shall charge for the service(s) claimed for the product if the product is still remediable and the warranty card becomes unenforceable or inapplicable.
- The original serial number (specified by AV Access Technology Limited) labeled on the product has been removed, erased, replaced, defaced or is illegible.
- The warranty has expired.
- The defects are caused by the fact that the product is repaired, dismantled or altered by anyone that is not from an AV Access Technology Limited authorized service partner.
