Installation Guide
General information’s
Pro Gate is a 4G device that can turn on and off electrical loads via digital
I/O signals.
Similarly, it can detect the status of analog and digital signals and report
the change to 1 or more telephone users (up to 8)
The predisposition for the “gate opener” function can be granted a maximum of
800 telephone users
The gate opener function can be activated by ringing telephone (no connection
charge) or via smartphone via dedicated APP (SeraNova)
The first configuration of ProGate must take place via SW for PC, subsequent
changes can be made via the APP and via CLOUD (all tools are provided free of
charge).
Installation and connections
To install the Din-rail supports it is necessary to open the device with
lateral pressure and lift the cover.
Lift the printed circuit board and fix the din-rail supports with the supplied
screws

Insert the Nano Sim as indicated on the screen printing and power up the
device with a voltage of 10 to 24V (DC or AC).

SERA2_Setup.exe download and run Sera2, the SW for configuration via PC
Calls from a mobile the number of the SIM inserted in ProGate device. An SMS
will be sent to the mobile phone with the IMEI number.
From now on the number of this mobile becomes the administrator
The main page displays the main information of the device, click “Read” icon
or “F5” key to Download the current device configuration.
Select the “Access” page and configure the system passwords, in the example
123456 for administrator, installer and user authorized to send SMS (max
8)
Select the “General System Option” page, assign a name to your device and
configure the time zone (GMT+1)
In the GSM Communication section, enter the telephone numbers that can receive and send SMS commands to device (max 8) and enable which events to receive for each telephone number

Select the “sera Cloud Service” page and enable sera CLOUDs
In the “User/Access Control” session add the users who will be able to open the gate (max 800) the first 8 can activate other options via SMS or APP

At the end of the configuration, click on the “Write” icon or on the “F6” key to download the configuration on the ProGate device
APP per Smartphone
Once the configuration of the device has been completed, you can install the
APP SERANOVA on a smartphone (Android or IoS) create you a account
The administrator account (ADMIN) allows you to add e delete users for gate
opener functions. The User account (USER) only allows control of the gate
opener function.
CLOUD Seranova
The same features of the SERNOVA APP are available on the CLOUD and accessible
from any PC connected to the Internet via web browser
