LIVOO DOD183 Electric Coffee Maker
Product Information
The LIVOO electric coffee maker is a household appliance designed to make coffee. It has a voltage rating of 220-240V~ 50-60Hz and a power rating of 600W. Product Usage Instructions
- Before first use, clean the carafe, reusable mesh filter, and filter basket in warm soapy water and rinse thoroughly.
- Uncover the top cover and fill clean water to the required level.
- Put an adequate quantity of coffee powder in the filter cone (or paper filter) inside the filter basket.
- Close the top cover securely.
- Place the carafe on the warming plate.
- Plug in the appliance to a wall outlet with a voltage rating that corresponds to the rated voltage manner.
- Press the ON/OFF switch to start the brewing process.
- The appliance will automatically shut off once the brewing process is complete.
- Remove the carafe from the warming plate and pour the brewed coffee into your cup.
- After use, unplug the appliance and allow it to cool down before cleaning.
- Clean the carafe, reusable mesh filter, and filter basket in warm soapy water and rinse thoroughly. Wipe down the exterior of the appliance with a damp cloth.

PLEASE, TAKE TIME TO READ WELL THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE PARTICULARLY BEFORE
THE FIRST USE.
A misuse of the appliance can damage it or hurt the user. Assure that you use
the appliance for the use for which it is designed; we refuse any
responsibilities as for the damages by an incorrect use or a bad manipulation.

Before use check that the voltage of your wall outlet corresponds to the rated voltage manner.

If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard (*).

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.

Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged less than 8 years.

SPECIAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING
Never touch the hot parts of the appliance (be careful, also the warm plate
and the appliance is a hot part!). Only take the coffee maker by the handle.

DESCRIPTION
USING INSTRUCTIONS

Before first use, clean the carafe, the reusable mesh filter and filter basket in warm soapy water, thoroughly rinse.

Uncover the top cover and fill clean water to required level.

Put adequate quantity of coffee powder in the filter cone (or paper filter) inside the filter holder.

Place the carafe on the drip plate.
-
Close the cover
-
Switch on, the indicator lamp will light up and the appliance begin working
Note
Caution : Do not open the reservoir lid during the brew cycle, as scalding may occur. -
The appliance will brew until the water tank is emptied, then automatically switch into off mode within 40 minutes.

Unplug from the socket.
WARNING
Before brewing another carafe of coffee, wait a few minutes to allow the
Coffeemaker completely cool.
GENERAL CARE AND CLEANING
-
Do not forget to remove the plug from the socket before cleaning the appliance.
-
Make sure that the appliance and especially the carafe are cool down before cleaning
-
Do not wash the carafe immediately after the use in order to avoid thermal shock
-
Clean the inside of the carafe with a soft brush in warm soapy water. Rinse with fresh water and dry it before next use.
Note: When washed in a dishwasher, the parts may appear to fade. Restore by polishing them with a soft, dry cloth. -
Wipe outside with soft, moist cloth when appliance is cold down completely, never use metal polish.

Never immerse the cord, plug, or appliance itself in water.
DESCALING
-
The appliance has to be descaled regularly (minimum twice a year)
-
Operate two or three more brewing cycles with fresh, cold water to remove all descaler solution residues. Throw out the obtained hot water
-
The frequency depends on the water hardness. Generally, the descaling should be done every two months.
Operating- Place the carafe onto the Base.
- Mix three cups of vinegar and nine cups of cold water and fill the water tank up to the Max level with prepared solution.
- Switch on the appliance during one minute. Switch off then, and wait one half an hour.
- Press the Start Button. Allow all of the cleaning solution to drip into the carafe, throw out the cleaning solution and clean the carafe.
- Operate two more brewing cycles with fresh, cold water to remove all descaler solution residues.
