Product Usage Instructions

  1. Before using the vacuum cleaner, ensure that it is properly assembled and all attachments are securely fastened.

  2. Turn on the vacuum cleaner by pressing the power button.

  3. To adjust the suction power, use the control dial on the vacuum cleaner.

  4. To clean floors or carpets, attach the appropriate cleaning head to the vacuum cleaner and move it back and forth over the
    surface.

  5. To clean upholstery or curtains, attach the appropriate cleaning tool to the vacuum cleaner and move it gently over the surface.

  6. To empty the dustbin, detach it from the vacuum cleaner and dispose of the contents in a trash can.

  7. To clean the HEPA filter, detach it from the vacuum cleaner and wash it under running water. Allow it to dry completely before reattaching it to the vacuum cleaner.

  8. To turn off the vacuum cleaner, press the power button again.

  9. After using the vacuum cleaner, store it in a cool, dry place.

PURPOSE OF THE DEVICE
For cleaning dust and dirt from hard and soft surfaces (hard floor, carpet, etc.). The vacuum cleaner is a home appliance and is not designed for industrial applications.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

The following requirements should be strictly observed in order to avoid situations hazardous for human life and health, as well as premature failures of the appliance:

  1. Carefully read the present manual prior to operating the appliance. Retain the present manual, cash voucher and appliance packaging.
  2. Ensure that the power supply grid voltage corresponds to the one indicated on the data plate of the appliance before operating it.
  3. Connect the appliance only to power grid sockets equipped with earthing contacts, use only two-pole extension cables with 10A rating and an earthing conductor.
  4. Always pull the plug from the power socket after use and prior to any cleaning and maintenance operations.
  5. Pull the plug from the power socket before opening the unit’s lid.
  6. Do not leave the appliance near heat sources.
  7. Do not use ethyl alcohol and other solvents for cleaning the appliance.
  8. Do not use the appliance for collecting liquids.
  9. Only the use of original spare parts is allowed. Do not use accessories which are not included in the scope of supply.
  10. Do not turn the appliance on if it is damaged or malfunctioning.
  11. Do not operate the appliance if its power cable or plug is damaged, if doesn’t run smoothly or has been dropped.
  12. Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourselves.
  13. If the power cable is damaged it should be replaced by the Manufacturer, a service facility or other skilled personnel.
  14. Do not submerge the appliance and its power cord in water or any other liquids.
  15. Ensure that the power cable does not touch sharp edges and hot surfaces.
  16. The appliance should not be used by physically, sensory or mentally handicapped persons (including children) or by persons without sufficient experience or knowledge, unless such persons are under supervision, or have been instructed on the use of the appliance, by the persons responsible for their safety. Take precautions not to let children play with the appliance.
  17. Special instructions for transportation (shipment) and sale: none.

OPERATING PROCEDURE

  • Connect the tube with the appliance’s body; clamp the tube latch in place. Insert the brush into the tube.
  • The slot brush is designed for cleaning radiators, corners, tight spaces, drawers, etc.
  • The small brush is designed for cleaning curtains, shelve, books, complex furniture and lighting fixtures.
  • Release the power cord by turning the reel latch by 180 degrees. Ensure that the grid voltage corresponds to that indicated on the appliance and insert the plug into an electric socket. Press the ON/OFF button; the vacuum cleaner will start operating.
  • Adjust the angle between the body and the brush by turning the handle.
  • Turn the vacuum cleaner off by pressing the ON/OFF button again, Turn the reel latch by 180 degrees to wind up the power cord.

Slot Brush
For cleaning heating radiators, corners, tight spaces, drawers, etc.

Small Brush
For cleaning curtains, shelves, books, complex furniture and lighting fixtures.

MAINTENANCE DUST REMOVAL

  • Disconnect the appliance from power supply before cleaning.
  • Wipe the body of the appliance with a dry cloth.
  • Disconnect the dust collection container from the appliance’s body by pressing the opening button.
  • Remove the НЕРА-filter from the dist collector.
  • Remove dust from the dust collector.
  • Wipe the inner surface of the dust collector with a damp cloth.

CLEANING THE HARD FOAM FILTER

  • Remove the hard foam filter from the dust collector.
  • Rinse the filter with warm water and let it dry out before the next use.

CLEANING THE НЕРА-FILTER

  • Remove the HEPA-filter.
  • Clean the HEPA-filter with a soft brush. Do not use stiff brushes for cleaning filters as this may damage them.

ATTENTION
HEPA-filters are replaceable and should never be washed.
Replacement filter kits can be purchased separately. we strongly recommend observing the following maintenance instructions: this will allow to maintain the highest suction power and quality performance of your new CENTEK TM vacuum cleaner. this is also the prerequisite of free guarantee maintenance. do not wash filters in a washing machine and do not dry them with a hair dryer. please clean the dust collector and the filters every time after cleaning your home. not doing so may result in power loss and appliance failure.

DISPOSAL

The service life of this item is 5 years since the date of sale to the end user, provided the item will be used in strict accordance with the present manual and the applicable technical standards. Upon expiry of the service life please contact the nearest authorized service centre for suggestions as to further operation of the appliance. The manufacturing date of the appliance is integrated into the serial number (digits 2 and 3 – year, digits 4 and 5 – month of manufacture).
