This appliance is only intended for the preparation, cooking, and serving of foods. This appliance is not intended for use with any nonfood materials or products.

WARNING
Electrical Shock Hazard: This appliance is provided with a grounded (3-prong) plug to reduce the risk of electric shock. The plug fits only one way into a grounded outlet. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the plug by modifying the plug in any way or by using an adapter. If the plug does not fit into the outlet, have an electrician replace the outlet. To avoid an electrical circuit overload, do not use another high-wattage appliance on the same circuit as this appliance. The length of the cord used on this appliance was selected to reduce the hazards of becoming tangled in or tripping over a longer cord. If a longer cord is necessary, an approved extension cord may be used. The electrical rating of the extension cord must be equal to or greater than the rating of the appliance. Care must be taken to arrange the extension cord so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or accidentally tripped over.

This appliance is equipped with a fully tempered safety glass door. Tempered glass is four times stronger than ordinary glass and more resistant to breakage. Tempered glass can break; however, it breaks into pieces with no sharp edges. Care must be taken to avoid scratching the door surface or nicking edges. If the door has a scratch or nick, contact Customer Service for more information.

When heavy foods are on the oven rack, do not pull the oven rack out more than halfway. To baste or check for doneness, remove food from the oven and place on a heat-resistant countertop surface or trivet. Do not place the bake pan directly on the lower heating elements.

How to Use

WARNING Fire Hazard
If contents ignite, do not open the oven door. Unplug the toaster oven and allow contents to stop burning and cool before opening door.

  • Do not use oven cooking bags.
  • Always allow at least 1 inch (2.5 cm) between food and heating element.
  • Always unplug the toaster oven when not in use.
  • For cooking, place bake/broil pan under air fry basket on oven rack to catch drippings.

BAKE or CONV BAKE Mode
Use BAKE or CONV BAKE mode for cakes, casseroles, or cookies, and for roasting meats, poultry or vegetables. Place Bake Pan or Oven Rack in upper or lower position. Preheating Toaster Oven for 5 minutes is necessary for Bake or Convection Bake mode. When using Convection Bake mode, reduce cooking time by 25% or temperature by 25°F.

  1. Plug into an outlet. Turn the Temperature Dial to the desired temperature, then turn the Function Dial to BAKE or CONV BAKE.
  2. Rotate the Timer clockwise past 10, then back to “dark toast” to preheat Toaster Oven for 5 minutes before beginning to bake.
  3. After Toaster Oven is preheated, set the Timer to desired time by rotating clockwise past 10, then to desired baking time. Or, rotate to Stay On while pressing and holding buttons on side of Dial.
  4. Rotate the Timer to OFF to end the cycle at any time.
  5. Unplug.

Stay On Function
The Toaster Oven can be set to stay on by turning the Timer to Stay On while pressing and holding buttons on side of Dial.

BROIL Mode
Use to brown foods such as beef, chicken, fish, pork, and casseroles. For thicker foods, a lower rack position can also be used. To only toast cut side of bread, bagels, English muffins, etc. place split side up and use BROIL mode. Always place Bake/Broil Pan under Air Fry Basket to catch drippings. Add food. Food must be a minimum of 1 inch (2.5 cm) from the heating elements.

  1. Plug into an outlet. Turn Temperature Dial to Broil/Toast and Function Dial to BROIL.
  2. Rotate the Timer clockwise past 10, then to desired broiling time. Or, rotate the Timer to Stay On while pressing and holding buttons on side of Dial. Turn foods when browned or halfway through cooking time. The oven broils at a high temperature and may not be adjusted.
  3. Rotate the Timer to OFF to end the cycle at any time.
  4. Unplug.

AIR FRY Mode
Use AIR FRY mode to crisp foods using little added oil for faster cooking. Always place Bake/Broil Pan under Air Fry Basket to catch drippings.

  1. Plug into an outlet.
  2. Arrange foods in a single, even layer and avoid overfilling Air Fry Basket. Place Basket onto Bake/Broil Pan on Oven Rack. Adjust Oven Rack so food is at least 1 inch (2.5 cm) from heating element.
  3. Turn the Temperature Dial to the desired temperature.
  4. Rotate Function Dial to AIR FRY.
  5. Rotate the Timer clockwise past 10, then to desired baking time. Or, rotate to Stay On while pressing and holding buttons on side of Dial.
  6. If time is selected, Timer will sound when the selected time is complete.
  7. Unplug.

Cooking Guide
NOTE: Foods may need to be flipped, stirred, or rotated during cooking. Foods that cannot be flipped might need to be lightly covered with foil, if getting too brown. Cooking times are suggestions. Cook food until crisp and golden brown.

TOAST Mode
Use for browning and toasting bread, bagels, and English muffins. Place traditional bread on Oven Rack in the upper rack position. When toasting bread or bagels with numerous seeds, place food on Bake Pan in the upper rack position to prevent seeds from falling onto lower heating elements; if toasting both sides of bread is desired, flip halfway through the toast cycle. This may increase toasting time slightly.

  1. Plug into an outlet. Turn Temperature Dial to Broil/Toast and then turn Function Dial to TOAST.
  2. Select a shade of browning by turning the Timer clockwise past 10, then back to desired toast color. A bell will sound when the cycle is complete.
  3. Rotate the Timer to OFF to end the cycle at any time.
  4. Unplug.

TIP:
The number of slices of bread and bread freshness will affect toast color. For example, toasting 4 slices of bread will require a darker toast color setting than 2 slices of bread. Adjust the TOAST mode based on the desired color.

Your Toaster Oven should be cleaned regularly for best performance and long life. Regular cleaning will also reduce the risk of fire hazards.

  1. Unplug and allow to cool completely.
  2. Wash Oven Rack, Bake/Broil Pan, Air Fry Basket, and Crumb Tray in hot, soapy water. Rinse and dry.
  3. To clean the inside of the Toaster Oven, wipe the oven walls, the bottom of the Oven, and the glass door with a damp, soapy cloth. Repeat with a damp, clean cloth. For stubborn stains, use a plastic scouring pad.

Troubleshooting

Toaster Oven will not heat
Check to make sure the electrical outlet is working and Oven is plugged in. Turn the Temperature Dial to 350°F (177°C). Turn Function Dial to BAKE; then turn Timer counterclockwise to Stay On while pressing and holding buttons on side of Dial.

Moisture forms on the inside of the oven door when toasting.
This is normal when toasting in a toaster oven. Moisture is slower to escape from a toaster oven than from a toaster. The amount of moisture will differ between fresh bread, bagels, and frozen pastries.

An odor and smoke coming from the Toaster Oven.
Smoke and odor are normal during the first use of most heating appliances. These will not be present after an initial heating period.

How large a bake pan will the Oven hold?

  • The Oven will hold up to 10″ round or square cake pan, 10″ pie plate or 12″ pizza pan.

How big a chicken will the Oven handle?

  • The Oven will hold up to 3 1/2 pounds (1.6 kg) of chicken pieces.

When should I choose Air Fry, Bake or Broil?

  • Choose Air Fry to brown and crisp foods quickly.
  • Choose Bake for foods such as roasts, potatoes, or cakes.
  • Choose from Broil to brown foods such as beef, chicken, fish, pork, and casseroles.

Toaster Oven will not toast
Check to make sure the outlet is working and Oven is plugged in. Turn Temperature Dial to Toast/Broil. Turn Function Dial to TOAST; then rotate Timer clockwise past 10 and then back to the desired toast color.

Some foods burn and some are not done

  • Adjust oven rack position to center food in Oven.
  • Adjust oven temperature or cooking time for best results with your recipes.

If I want to toast bread, what setting is best?

  • Toast mode is best for toasting both sides of sliced bread or English muffins. Use Broil mode for open-faced sandwiches, bagels, baguettes, and crostini. Broil mode activates top heating element and is great when toasting is required on one side only (e.g. bagels or English muffins), or the bread can be flipped when the desired level of browning is reached.

Where is the Slide-Out Crumb Tray?

  • Slide-Out Crumb Tray is located inside Oven under the bottom heating elements.
