Product Information

The LIVOO Insect Killing Light is an electric device that eliminates flying insects without using any chemicals. It emits a blue light that attracts insects to the internal high-voltage metal grid which strikes them down. The device has a voltage of 220-240V 50Hz, a power output of 27W, and uses a Class I Lamp type G5 2XT5 BLF8W. It has a protection area of 40 m2.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Place the insect killer in a dry place.
  2. Plug the device into an appropriate AC outlet.
  3. To stop operation, unplug the unit from the mains. The device can be suspended on a wall using its metallic chain or placed on a table. Always protect it from splashing water or moisture.
  4. Ensure that the device is placed on a flat, stable surface. Do not hang or lift the device by the wire; always use the suspension chain provided for this purpose.

GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

PLEASE, TAKE TIME TO READ WELL THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE PARTICULARLY BEFORE THE FIRST USE. Misuse of the appliance can damage it or hurt the user. Assure that you use the appliance for the use for which it is designed; we refuse any responsibility as for the damages by an incorrect use or a bad manipulation.

  1. Check that your main voltage corresponds to that stated on the appliance.
  2. The safety instructions do not completely eliminate the specified hazards and do not dispense with usual preventive measures.
  3. Keep this manual with the appliance. If the appliance is to be used by a third party, this instruction manual must be supplied with it.
  4. Do not insert your fingers or foreign objects into the device when it is plugged into a power outlet.
  5. Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use.
  6. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
  7. Keep the appliance out of the reach of children.
  8. Children shall not play with the appliance.
  9. Cleaning and use maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
  10. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard (*).
  11. Do not pass the cord over objects with sharp edges and keep it at a distance from, hot objects and bare flames. Always pull on the plug to disconnect it from the feed source.
  12. Be careful not to bend, crush, pinch the power cable, or expose it to heat sources or sharp or sharp objects. Avoid letting the device become an obstacle on which someone might trip.

DESCRIPTION AND USE

The insect lamp gets rid of flying insects without chemicals. The blue light emitted by the tube attracts insects to the internal high-voltage metal grid (2300-2500V) to strike them down. Place the insect killer in a dry place. Plug in an appropriate AC outlet. Unplug the unit from the mains to stop operation. This device can be suspended on wall thanks to his metallic chain or simply placed on a table and should always be protected from splashing water or moisture. Be sure to put the unit on a flat, stable surface. Do not hang or lift your device by the wire, but always use the suspension chain provided for this purpose.
WARNING: The lamps in this appliance can not be replaced. Scrap the appliance when the lamps cease to operate.

CLEANING AND STORAGE

Before any intervention, unplug the appliance and wait for it to cool down. Empty the removable collection tray in the base of the appliance daily. Pull it towards you to empty it. With a small brush clean the dead insects on the grill and the lamp. Keep this unit in a clean, dry place and away from dust. Clean the outside regularly with a dry cloth.
