OPERATING PROCEDURE

Some odor and smoke may be emitted during the initial use of the appliance.
This is normal and safe. We recommend heating the oven up for 15 minutes at 250 0С with all heating elements turned on.

  1. Prepare the food you intend to cook. Grease the baking tray with oil to prevent the food from sticking to it. Pre-heat the oven if necessary.

  2. Open the oven’s door and insert the tray with the food in its place.

  3. Set the recommended temperature with the temperature regulator and activate the upper or lower heating element with the mode selector.

  4. Set the required time with the timer dial.

  5. The appliance will start operating after the temperature, heating mode (top or bottom heating element) and timer is set.
BE CAREFUL! The glass door of the oven becomesvety hot during operation.
Do not allow drops of water, fat or other liquids to contact the heated glass.
A drastic temperature difference may cause the glass to crack. Do not place the tray removed from the oven on the open oven door to avoid its deformation and  cracking.

  6. You can watch the cooking process through the glazed door. If necessary, you may open the door and turn or stir the food.

  7. Be careful as steam can be discharged from the oven chamber when the door is opened.

  8. After completion of the cooking set the heating mode selector and temperature regulator to the «ВЫКЛ» (OFF) position.

  9. Carefully remove the baking tray with the food from the oven.

  10. If the heating element(s) or the inner walls of the chamber should become contaminated with pieces of food, wait until the oven fully cools down and remove the  residues to prevent ignition and smoke emission during further use of the oven.

  11. Disconnect the oven from power supply.

GRILLING MODE

  • Prepare the food you are going to cook. The total weight of the food on the spit should not exceed 2 kg. Secure the wings and legs of fowl with special skewers or with  thread. Pre-heat the oven if necessary. It is recommended to heat the oven up to 250 0С for 15 minutes before cooking.
  • Set the recommended temperature with the temperature regulator and select the use both or only of the upper heating element with the mode selector (the “Grilling”  mode is only available in the second and fourth selector positions).
  • Install the first fork on the spit, secure it with the screw. Pierce the meat with the spit and center it, adjust the position of the first fork if necessary. Make sure that the  food does not touch the oven walls as the spit rotates. Then attach the second fork to secure the meat on the spit. Fasten the second fork with its screw.
  • Install the fat collection tray. Then install the spit into the oven: slide one side into the slot in the motor shaft and the other side into the spit holder on the opposite wall.
  • Close the oven door and set the cooking time with the timer.
  • When the cooking time is over set the heating element mode selector to the «O» (OFF) position.
  • Carefully remove the spit with the cooked food from the oven and disconnect the oven from power supply. Use the spit extraction hook, kitchen mitts or gloves to avoid burns.
