IK 11 Automatic Fountain
Product Information: Induction Fondue and Wok IK 11
The Induction Fondue and Wok IK 11 is a modern way of cooking.
The product comes with a timer, temperature control, power on/off button, and
an automatic safety shut off feature. It is important to only use induction-
compatible cookware and to not place the product on heat-sensitive surfaces.
The user manual provides detailed instructions for safe usage and
troubleshooting.
Product Usage Instructions
- Before using the product, carefully read the instruction manual and keep it in a safe place.
- Only use the product as described in the instruction manual and pay attention to the safety information provided.
- Ensure that the cookware used is induction-compatible and has a minimum diameter of 12 cm. Place the appropriate pot/pan in the center of the plate.
- Use the power button to turn the product on/off.
- Use the temperature control to set the desired cooking temperature.
- Use the timer to set the desired cooking time. If the time runs out, the product will automatically shut off.
- Do not use the product near a flame or wet places.
- Do not place metallic objects such as knives, forks, spoons, lids, cans, and aluminum foils on the top plate.
- Keep sufficient space around the product for safe usage.
- Do not use the product on carpet or tablecloth (viny1) or any other low-heat-resistant surface.
- If there are any problems or errors with the product, contact customer service for assistance.
- After use, allow the product to cool down before cleaning.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or materials that may scratch the surface of the product.
- Clean the product regularly to prevent buildup or burning on the surface.
- When disposing of the product, follow the correct disposal procedures.
Generally
This appliance is for private use only and must not be used commercially. Please read the instruction manual carefully and keep it at a safe place. When the appliance is given to another person the instruction manual should be passed to that person, too. Only use the appliance as described in the instruction manual and pay attention to the safety information. No liability for damages or accidents will be accepted, which are caused by not paying attention to the instruction manual.
Cautions
- Do not plug with wet hands.
- Do not plug into a socket where several other appliances are plugged in.
- Do not use if the plug cord is damaged or when the power plug does not fit the socket securely.
- Do not modify the parts, or repair the unit by yourself.
- Do not use the unit near a flame or wet places.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capacities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. Do not place on unstable surfaces.
- Do not carry the unit when the pot or the pan is on it.
- Do not heat the pot empty or overheat it.
- Do not place metallic objects such as knives, forks, spoons, lids, cans, and aluminum foils on the top plate.
- Use the unit with sufficient space around it. Keep the front side and either right or left side of the unit clear.
- Never use the unit on carpet or tablecloth (viny1) or any other low-heat-resistant article.
- Do not place a sheet of paper between the pot or the pan and the unit. The paper may get burnt.
- If the surface is cracked, switch off and take to the service center immediately.
- Do not block air intake or exhaust vent.
- Do not touch the top plate shortly after removing the pot or the pan, as the top plate will still be very hot.
- Do not place near objects which are affected by magnet, such as: radios, televisions, automatic-banking cards and cassette tapes.
- The supply cord must by replaced by qualified technicians.
- The appliance is not suitable to be used with an external timer or a separate remote control.
How to use
- Only use pots and pans suitable for induction cookers. Place the pot/pan (min. diameter 12cm) in the middle of the plate.
- No bigger pots then the ring diameter (16,5cm) can be placed on the induction cooker.
- Plug in the appliance.
- Touch the “ON/OFF” button. A signal can be heard.
- When there is no selection of program or temperature within one minute the appliance will switch off automatically.
- If no pot or a pot not suitable for induction is placed on the appliance a signal can be heard, in the display “E1” can be seen and the appliance will switch off after ca 30 sec.
Power
Touch the „On/Off“ button and then the power button. At the display “1” is
shown. By slightly touching the “On/Off” button the power can be changed from
1-7.
The appliance is equipped with a overheat protection.
When pots get too hot the appliance will be switched off and in the display E7
occurs. In that case touch the “On/Off” button and cool the appliance down for
some minutes. After that the appliance will work without any problem.
All power steps are suitable to be used for cooking water and soups.
Should meat or vegetables roasted then please use the temperature function to
achieve the intended result.
Temperature
Touch the „On/Off“ button and then the temperature button. At the display “60” is shown. By slightly touching the temperature button can the temperature be changed in different steps up to 240°C. The integrated sensor keeps the temperature at this level.
Timer
After the power or the temperature is chosen it is possible to use the Timer
function by touching it. In the display “010”min is shown. By touching the
Timer button the time can be changed in 10min steps (max 2h). The time counts
down in minute steps
and after the time runs out the appliance will stop working.
When Power or temperature should be changed the Timer must be reprogrammed.
Usable and Non-usable Utensils
- Usable Pans
Steel or cast iron, enameled iron, stainless steel, flat-bottom pans/pots with diameter 12-26cm.
- Non-usable Pans
Heat-resistant glass, ceramic container, copper, aluminum pans/pots. Round- bottom pans/pots with bottom measuring less than 12cm.
- Please take care that the bottom of the pot is not to thin or is bended.
How to Clean
- Disconnect plug and wait until it is cooled down. Clean after each use.
- If the pots/pans are used without being cleaned, discoloration or cooked on stains may be caused.
- Do not use petrol, thinner, scrubbing brush or polishing power to clean the induction cooker.
- Wipe using dish washing agent and damp cloth.
- Use vacuum cleaner to suck up dirt from the air intake and exhaust vent.
- Never run water over the unit. (water gets inside may cause malfunction).
Disposal
Packaging disposal:
Do not throw away the package materials. Please put it in the recycling bin.
Gift box: Paper, should be put to the old paper collection point.
Plastic packaging material and foils should be collected in the special
collection containers.
your used device, please use the return and collection systems or contact the retailer where the product was purchased. They can take this product for environmental safe recycling.
