Product Information

The Livoo product is a Bluetooth speaker that has an alarm function. It comes with a rechargeable Lion battery and has a Hi-Fi sound quality. The device has Bluetooth version 5.0 and has an extreme temperature tolerance of -20 to 55 degrees Celsius. The input for the device is DC 5V 1A, and the output power is 3W. It has two alarm indicators, a 24-hour format, and two 12-hour formats, along with a battery capacity indicator.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Before using the Livoo product, read the instruction sheet carefully and keep it for future use.
  2. Avoid exposing the product to any water, liquid, or wet areas. Do not place it in direct sunlight or heat.
  3. Use the product only in dry locations and away from naked flames like candles.
  4. Operate the device only from the type of power source indicated on the marking label.
  5. Ensure that the product is correctly turned off and stored in a cool, dry place when not in use.
  6. Avoid inserting foreign objects into the product and keep it away from children.
  7. Charge the Livoo product by inserting the micro-USB end of the charging cable into the charging port on the speaker and then inserting the USB end into a USB socket that can supply the correct power voltage (5V).
  8. During charging, the indicator inside the speaker turns red. If charging via a computer, the charging time will be longer. If charging via an adapter (not included), ensure that the charging voltage stated on the product (5V) is observed.

  6. Make sure the product has plenty of ventilation.
  7. Do not press the buttons too hard as it could damage the product.
  8. Do not use a wet cloth on the product and keep it free from dust.
  9. Do not use chemicals on this product.
  10. Never try to repair this product yourself because it could lead to electric shock, take it to an approved technician.
  11. If the USB cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid hazard.
  12. WARNING: For the purposes of charging, only use the detachable USB cable provided.
  13. If you want to use your product with an adaptor(not supplied) instead of USB cable, only used adaptor with power supply 5V.
  14. When the unit is not in use, make sure it is correctly turned off and stored in a cool dry place.
  15. Do not insert foreign objects into the product.
  16. Adult supervision is recommended with children using this product.
  17. Avoid dropping it as harsh impacts could damage the product.
  18. Ensure children and infants do not play with plastic bags or any packaging materials

Operation Instruction

Charging operation

  • Insert the micro-USB end of the charging cable into the charging port on the speaker, and then insert the USB end into a USB socket able to supply the correct power voltage (5 V).
  • The indicator inside the speaker turns red during charging.
  • If you choose to charge the speaker via your computer, the charging time will be longer. If you want to charge your product via an adapter (not included), be sure to observe the charging voltage stated on the product (5V).

Note: The battery charge is regularly shown on the main display when the device is switched on (Figure 2, last image).

Power button
Press and hold the power button to turn the unit on or off.
When listening to music, press this button to pause or resume music playback.

M button
Press this button to change the mode. Two modes are available: “Bluetooth” and “Clock” which simply displays the time.
Press and hold to change the time format (12H or 24H format).

Volume control and track change
In Bluetooth mode, briefly press (-) to start the previous song. Briefly press (+) to play the next song. Press and hold to increase (+) or decrease (-) the volume.

SET button
Press this button briefly to activate the first alarm, activate the second alarm, activate both alarms or deactivate all alarms in succession. The activated alarm(s) are indicated on the display (see Figure 1, point 1 & 2).
Press and hold the SET button to set the clock and alarms. The parameter that you can change will flash. To increase or decrease the value of this parameter, use the (+) or (-) button. To change to another parameter, briefly press the SET button.
Press the button twice briefly to switch the light in the cabinet on or off.

Bluetooth connection
Activate the Bluetooth settings on your mobile phone and search for the TES255. When pairing is successful, your mobile phone will display ‘Bluetooth connected’. Open the music player on your device and play music. It will play on the speaker.

In Bluetooth mode
Answer a call: Press the power button to answer. The speaker has a built- in microphone.
Hang up: Press the power button to end the call.
Reject call: When called, press and hold the power button to reject the call.

TF card reader (Micro SD card reader)
Turn on the device and insert the TF card into the card slot. Press button M to switch to ‘TF card’ mode. You can play the music previously recorded on your card.

Setting the alarm (Figure 2, first and second images)
To set an alarm time, you must first activate either Alarm 1 or Alarm 2 by briefly pressing the SET button. When one of the two alarms is activated, a symbol is displayed below the displayed time (see Figure 2).Livoo TES255

NOTE: If Alarm 1 is displayed, you will be able to set Alarm 1. If Alarm 2 is displayed, you can set Alarm 2. If neither or both alarms are displayed, you can only set the time.
Press and hold the SET button. The set time of the activated alarm flashes indicating that you can change this setting.

Briefly press the SET button to confirm the hour and move to the minute setting.
To change the settings, use the (+) or (-) button.
To confirm the set time, press and hold the SET button for a few seconds.

Procedure to observe for battery’s end of life
The appliance batteries must be removed before discarding the equipment. Please follow the procedure below: Ensure that your appliance is disconnected so as to reduce any risk of electrical shock. Discharge the batteries fully. Remove the protection cover situated in a location where you connect the mains voltage adapter and it is removed so as to access the batteries compartment. Carry a screwdriver to remove the screw.
Remove the batteries from the equipment. Cut the cables and tab connecting the batteries in the printed circuit and remove them.

ATTENTION: THESE lithium CELLS MUST BE RECYCLED OR ELIMINATED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE EQUIPMENT SCRAPPING. Do not burn, dismantle, crush or break out the batteries because they can release toxic substances.
Do not expose them to extreme temperatures.
Drop them in the batteries recycling bins designed for this purpose or return them to your retailer.

Correct disposal of the unit (Electrical and Electronic Equipment).
(Applicable in the European Union and the rest of Europe that have adopted separate collection systems countries). The European Directive 2012/19/EU on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), requires that old household electrical appliances must not be disposed of in the normal household waste stream.
