Introduction

1.1 Product description
The product is a lady’s bike with 3 gears.
1.2 Intended use
The product is intended to cycle on the road. Do not use the product for other tasks. The manufacturer is not liable for personal injury or damage to the product if it is not used as intended.

2.1 Safety definitions

2.2 Safety instructions for operation
Warning! If you do not obey these instructions, there is a risk of death or injury.

The instructions describe how to ride safely and keep the product in good condition. Read the instructions carefully, and follow them. All the important servicing and adjustments of the product should be carried out at a bike shop. Follow these instructions if you do not have access to a bike shop or want to do the adjustments yourself.
Follow local traffic regulations.
Always wear a bike helmet.
If dark, use the lamps on the product. Wear bright clothes, if possible.
If wet, the power of the brake is reduced. Cycle more slowly and apply the brake earlier than in dry weather.

Assembly

3.1 Suitable tools for assembly and adjustment

Combination spanners, size 13 and 15 mm.
Hex keys, size 5 and 6 mm.
Screwdrivers.
Grease.

3.2 To assemble the handlebars

Make sure that the brake wire and gear wire are put on the right side of the front fork. If the wires are not correct installed. Rotate the wires to the correct position.
Apply grease to the hole on the front fork and the expander bolt at the foot of the handlebars.
Install the handlebars at the required height in the hole on the front fork. Make sure that it is deep enough to be stable.
Make sure that the handlebars are straight and tighten the clamping screw with a 6 mm hex key.

3.3 To assemble the front wheel

Push the front brake together and unhook the brake wire so that the brake separates.
Hook the front wheel in the front fork, with the tyre in the correct direction of rotation.
Make sure that the front wheel is centred between the fork legs. Tighten the nuts alternately.
Push the front brake together and install the brake wire. (Figure 2)

3.4 To install the saddle and the saddle post

Put grease on the saddle post.
Install the saddle post into the saddle tube.
Note! Make sure that the marking for the top position on the saddle is below the edge of the saddle tube.
Lock the saddle post to the required height with the quick-release lever.

3.5 To assemble the pedals
Note! The right pedal is marked with a R, and the left pedal is mark with a L. Install the right pedal on the right side of the bike, and the left pedal to the left side of the bike. If the pedals are not installed correctly, it can cause damage to the threads on the pedals.
3.5.1 To fit the right pedal

Turn the pedal clockwise on the chain side of the crank arm.
Tighten with a 15 mm combination spanner. (Figure 3)

3.5.2 To fit the left pedal

Turn the pedal counter-clockwise, on the opposite side of the chain side of the crank arm.
Tighten with a 15 mm combination spanner. (Figure 4)

Operation

4.1 To do before operation

Make sure that the product is adjusted correctly. (Figure 5)
Make sure that the product is assembled with brakes and a bell.
Make sure that the product has a front lamp with a white light and a rear lamp with a red light. Make sure that the lamps can lit.
Do a check that the reflectors of the product are correctly installed, clean and not obscured. Replace damaged reflectors.
Learn how to use the components and accessories on the product correctly. If you do not learn how to use the brakes on the product you can get seriously injured.
Make sure that the brakes stop the wheels when applied. Make sure that the brake pads are not worn out.
Make sure that all screw and components are tight and correctly installed.
Make sure that the wheels are correctly installed in the front fork and the rear fork.
Make sure that the rims are not damaged.
Make sure that the tyres are not damaged. Make sure that the tyres have the correct air pressure.
Make sure that the steering moves correctly.

4.2 To adjust the saddle

Make sure that the saddle is comfortably adjusted.

4.2.1 To adjust the height of the saddle

Open the quick-release lever (A) on the saddle tube. (Figure 6)
Move the saddle post to the required height (B).
Close the quick-release lever.

Note! Make sure that the marking for the top position on the saddle is below the edge of the saddle tube.
4.2.2 To adjust the saddle horizontally

Release the knot that holds the saddle to the saddle post.
Adjust the position of the saddle forward or rearward. Move the saddle with small adjustments to find the correct position.
Note! If you have you foot on the pedal with the crank arm horizontal, the pedal should stay below the knee.
If it is necessary, adjust the angle of the saddle.
Tighten the knot that holds the saddle to the saddle post.

4.3 The gears
The product has 3 hub gears. The shift lever on the right side of the handlebars indicates which gear is engaged; 1, 2 or 3. (Figure 11)

Make sure that the gears are correctly adjusted.

4.3.1 To change gear

Turn the inner part of the right handle on the handlebar to change gear.)

4.4 The brakes
Warning! Do not use a product with brakes that do not work correct.

The product has a hub brake at the rear. That is engaged by pedalling rear.
The product has a rim brake at the front. There is a brake handle on the left side of the handlebars that applies the front brake.

4.4.1 To use the brakes

Apply the rear brake before you apply the front brake.
Warning! Do not apply the front brake when you turn the product or on a slippery surface.

Service

To make sure that the product is safe to use, only use original spare parts when you replace parts that are applicable for safety.
Let an approved service center do service to the product every 6 months. Do service on the product more often if it is necessary.
Make sure that all screws are correctly tightened and that the wires are installed correctly to the frame and not damaged after adjustments are made.

Maintenance

6.1 To clean the product

Clean the product regularly.
Clean with a mild detergent. Do not use degreasing products that can penetrate the bearings and chain and interfere with the lubrication.

6.2 To lubricate the chain
The chain should be lubricated at regular intervals. If the chain is dry, it can rust and get damaged.

Lubricate the chain with applicable chain oil.
Move the pedal a few turns, to let the oil go into the link.
Wipe the chain with a cloth.

6.3 To adjust the chain
Note! If the chain can be moved more than 1 cm up or down it must be tensioned. The chain must not be over tensioned, make sure that you can move it up and down.

Loosen the nuts on the rear axle and the nut for the hub brake.
Pull the rear wheel rearward to stretch the chain.
Make sure that the rear wheel is straight. Fully tighten the nuts on the rear axle and the nut for the hub brake,
Make sure that the chain has the correct tension and that the wheels are installed correctly.

6.4 To adjust the brake handle
The brake should apply full power when the brake handle is pushed halfway. The brake must not press against the rim when the brake handle is not pressed. The handle must not be pressed fully to the handlebar.

Turn the adjusting sleeve in the brake handle to increase or reduce the movement of the brake handle. (Figure 7)
If larger adjustment is needed, release the wire lock on the brake arm. Move the wire to required position and fully tighten the wire lock. (Figure 8)
To replace the brake wires, speak to your service center.

6.5 To adjust the spring tension
The spring tension prevents that the brake touches the rim when the brake handle is released.

Turn the adjusting screws on each side of the brake with a suitable screwdriver until the arms move in parallel. (Figure 9)

6.6 To adjust the brake pads
The brake pads should press against the middle of the rim. The brake pads must not touch the tyre or move below the bottom edge.

If it is necessary, loosen the hex screw that holds the brake pad and adjust the position of the pad. (Figure 10)
If it is necessary, replace the brake pads. Speak to your service center.

6.7 To adjust the gears

Turn the gear lever on the right-hand side of the handlebars to engage gear 2. (Figure 11)
Release the lock nut for the adjusting screw on the derailleur on the right side of the rear hub.
Turn the adjusting screw. Make sure that the yellow marker in the window is between the 2 white lines. Tighten the lock nut. (Figure 12)

6.8 To do a check of tyres and rims

Regularly examine that the spokes are correctly tensioned and that the wheels are not buckled or out of round.
Do a check of the wear line on the side of the rim. The wear line indicates the wear from the brakes. Replace the rim if the wear line no longer is visible.
Do a check of the air pressure in the tyres at regular intervals. Refer to the side of the tyre for the correct air pressure.
Regularly do a check that the tyres are not damaged.
Do not let the tyre touch oil, petrol, paraffin or agents that can cause damage to rubber.

6.9 To adjust the handlebar post

Release the expander screw on the top edge of the handlebar post until the expander key comes loose. Carefully tap the expander screw if the key does not come loose by itself. (Figure 13)
Move the handlebar post up or down to a position where you can sit comfortably and can easily reach the handlebars and brake levers.
Note! The handlebars should be at the same height, or lower, than the saddle.
Make sure that the handlebar post is in line with the front wheel.
Note! Make sure that the marking for the top position on the handlebar post below the edge of the fork tube.
Make sure that the expander screw is fully tighten. The handlebar must not rotate in the fork tube.
