Product Information
The product is called “free” and is designed to be installed in furniture, cabinets, wooden materials displays, drywall, stone, or solid walls. It comes with two mounting options depending on the installation location: MountingSet Furniture and MountingSet Inwall. The product dimensions vary depending on the iPad generation it is used for. It includes a mounting plate, flush mount box (for MountingSet Inwall), power supply, and mounting materials. The product can be powered via USB cable and USB power adapter or via PoE adapter.
MountingSet Furniture
For installation in furniture, cabinets, wooden materials displays, etc., the product can be directly screw-mounted without a flush mount box. The mounting set includes power supply and mounting materials. The side view from left to right is Wall, Mounting plate, free. Please note that a holesaw of 50mm is required to put the connector through.
MountingSet Inwall
For installation in drywall, stone, or solid wall, the product can be installed with a flush mount box behind the mounting plate. The mounting set includes flush mount box, power supply, and mounting material. The back view shows measurements for free for iPad mini 4. The size of free varies depending on the iPad generation. Mounting plate is always the same, allowing you to change iPad generation easily.
Product Usage Instructions
To use the product, follow the instructions below:
- Determine the installation location for the product.
- Select the appropriate mounting option: MountingSet Furniture or MountingSet Inwall.
- For MountingSet Furniture:
- Directly screw-mount the product without a flush mount box.
- Use a holesaw of 50mm to put the connector through.
- For MountingSet Inwall:
- Install the product with a flush mount box behind the mounting plate.
- Power the product via USB cable and USB power adapter or via PoE adapter.
- Refer to the user manual for further instructions on how to use the product with your specific iPad generation.
Note that electrical operation of free is only permitted in connection with free mounting set and power supply and cable included in the mounting set. Operating free without a MountingSet will lead to immediate loss of guarantee and warranty.
