Sirius Pre and Post Morpheus8
Product Information: Morpheus8
Morpheus8 is a non-surgical device that uses radiofrequency (RF) technology to stimulate collagen production and improve skin texture. It is a minimally invasive treatment that can be used on various areas of the body, including the face, neck, and hands. The device has micro-needles that penetrate the skin to deliver RF energy deep into the tissue, promoting the growth of new collagen and elastin fibers. Morpheus8 can improve fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, and skin laxity.

your procedure. Do not stop taking a medication advised by your provider
without the prescribing provider’s approval. Remaining on blood thinners may
result in excessive bleeding and bruising during and post-treatment.

DAY OF PROCEDURE
Clean skin with SkinMedica Facial Cleanser. Do NOT apply any lotions, oils, or makeup For your convenience we have multiple numbing preparations available. Your Morpheus provider can numb you in-house one hour prior to your treatment. A prescription may be called into Apothecare of Lakewood Ranch so you may numb in the comfort of your home one hour prior to your procedure.
Self-Numbing:
Apply the topical numbing cream (Lidocaine 23% Tetracaine 7%) provided by
Sirius Day Spa or prescription in a thin layer over the area to be treated 1
hour before your scheduled appointment time. If you have an allergy to any of
these medications, do not use them and notify the spa so an alternative
numbing cream may be provided. Additional Numbing Application Considerations
Gently tap numbing cream over the brow and bony portion of the upper eye and
brow region.
Do not apply to the entire eyelid. If numbing cream enters the eye, flush with water immediately. Tap around the lips, avoiding getting the product inside the mouth. Numbing cream does not need to be applied directly to the lips. Do not eat or drink after the application of numbing cream around the mouth to avoid the topical numbing cream from being ingested.
POST-PROCEDURE
After your procedure, your skin will have some redness and swelling and may show dots/grid marks. This is usually transient and subsides quickly, but you may experience this for several weeks. You may experience mild discomfort for 1-2 days, followed by itching while your skin is healing. Avoid scratching the treated areas. Use Tylenol for pain unless you have been advised by a health provider to avoid Tylenol. It will take approximately 24 hours for the micro- punctures to close over, to prevent complications from bacteria, there is no need to wash or apply anything to the face until the morning after treatment.
