Safety Instruction

Remove the plastic protective film on the panel surface, if present.
Make the connections to the solar regulator strictly observing the cables polarity. When connecting two panels in parallel, use protection diodes on the positive pole.
In case of installation on vehicles or boats, fix the panel with appropriate adhesive as shown in the illustration below:

Apply the adhesive strips respecting the illustration above. This promotes air circulation to cool the cells.

Maintenance

No maintenance is required for the flexible solar panels.

Warranty Conditions

The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase. If any defects arise during the warranty period, NDS Energy will repair or replace the product free of charge. The warranty does not cover accidental breakage or other events outside of NDS Energy’s control. If such
conditions occur, the following expenses are excluded: transport, customs clearance or other costs for return.

Exclusion and Limitations

NDS Energy will not be liable for any damages arising from the use of the flexible solar panels.

Disposal
The solar panels contain harmful electronic components that should not be mixed with household/industrial waste. They should be collected and recycled separately. Contact your supplier for collection and recycling, or a company responsible for recycling these devices.

Disputes
Any disputes will be settled in accordance with Italian law.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE PROPER DISPOSAL

SAFETY INSTRUCTION

Child Safety: Keep the device Out of Reach.
Carefully check the integrity of the device and connectors.
To avoid risk of electric shock and/or ﬁre, the vehicle’s fuel system must be in good condition.
In case of damaged connecting cables or inadequate section, immediately replace them with suitable cables as speciﬁed by this manual or by a qualiﬁed electrician.
In case of anomalies in the conformity of the product do not use it! it is strictly forbidden to open the device. Repairs may only be carried out by qualiﬁed technical personnel using original spare parts.
Keep the instruction manual near the device for easy access to the essential safety, use and maintenance information.
The information contained in this manual may be changed without notice. NDS Energy s.r.l. reserves the right to make changes and improvements to the product at any time without notice and without obligation to apply these changes to the devices previously distributed.
The images of the products are purely indicative and may therefore not be fully representative of the characteristics of the product, differing in color, size or accessories.

INSTALLATION

Remove the plastic protective ﬁlm on the panel surface, if present.
Make the connections to the solar regulator strictly observing the cables polarity. When connecting two panels in parallel, use protection diodes on the positive pole.
When positioning the panel respect the maximum ﬂexibility limit for the two models:
- LIGHT SOLAR: 5%
- SOLARFLEXEVO: 30%
In case of installation on vehicles or boats, ﬁx the panel with appropriate adhesive as shown in the illustration.

Apply the adhesive strips respecting the illustration:

perimeter margin (min. 2cm)
space in the central part of the panel (approx. 5cm) This will ensure air circulation to cool down the cells. After the panel has been applied to the vehicle surface, do not press and do not place weights on the panel. It is possible to apply adhesive tape with nonaggressive glue to make the corners of the panel
adhere well, taking care to remove them at the end of the work.

MAINTENANCE

In order to always obtain the maximum yield from the solar panel, keep the cells free of impurities and avoid scratching the surface. To clean the panel use a damp
microfiber cloth, if it is not sufficient to use neutral, non-aggressive and suitably diluted detergents.

Caution
avoid treading on the panels, especially with hard, sharp soles, and respect the ﬂexibility limit of each model to avoid cell breakdown.

WARRANTY CONDITIONS

This document summarizes the conditions of the Legal Warranty of Conformity (hereinafter also referred to as “Warranty”) in relation to NDS ENERGY S.r.l. products (hereinafter referred to as “NDS ENERGY”) – single-member company, with registered ofﬁce in Cappelle sultavo (PE), via G. Pascoli, 169 – (hereinafter also referred to as “Product”), pursuant to the “Consumer Code” Legislative Decree 206/2005. NDS ENERGY guarantees its ﬂexible and semi- ﬂexible photovoltaic panels for 24 months for defects of conformity of the panel itself. In case of ﬁrst installation, the warranty will be effective from the date of sale or registration of the vehicle. Excluded from the warranty are all the cases reported on paragraph: “Conditions not covered by warranty”, all cases of tampering with the photovoltaic panel and the serial number placed on it, defects resulting from failure to comply with the instructions on page 1, paragraphs: “Installation”, “Maintenance”, absence or loss of the warranty coupon.

In case of failure of the photovoltaic panel, the customer may contact an Authorized Center or directly to NDS ENERGY, which, after appropriate checks and tests, will decide whether to restore the conformity of the asset or replace it. In case of replacement, the warranty expires 24 months after the date of ﬁrst purchase.
Should the customer decide to carry out further checks by third party technicians, he will personally bear the relevant costs, without claiming anything from NDS Energy S.r.l.

EXCLUSION AND LIMITATIONS

The above mentioned guarantees (24 months and 1/5 years) referring to the solar panels will not be applied in case of:

Misuse, abuse, negligence or accident.
Alteration, improper installation or application.
Non-compliance with NDS ENERGY provided installation and maintenance rules.
Repairs or modiﬁcations made by technicians not authorized directly by NDS ENERGY;
Power drops, lightning, ﬂoods, ﬁres, accidental breakages or other events beyond the control of NDS ENERGY.

If the above conditions are veriﬁed, the following are to be considered excluded: transport, customs clearance or other costs for the return of the forms. Shipping, repair or replacement costs, or costs associated with the installation, removal or reinstallation of the photovoltaic modules will also not be covered.
The warranty shall not be enforceable if the type or serial number of the modules is altered, removed or rendered illegible. Furthermore, any changes in color or other changes to the appearance of the photovoltaic panel (affecting its functionality), not directly attributable to defects in material and/or workmanship, are excluded from the warranty.

DISPOSAL
Solar panels contain harmful electronic components that should not be mixed with household/industrial waste and should be collected and recycled separately. Please contact your supplier for collection and recycling, or a recycling company for these devices.

DISPUTES
In case of disputes, the competent forum is that of Pescara (PE) – Italy.
