Product Information: Global KneeTM
The Global KneeTM is a knee brace designed to provide support and stability to the knee joint. The brace features a range of motion hinges that can be adjusted to limit extension and flexion of the knee joint. The brace also includes an optional gel buttress that can be applied to the inside of the buttress flap for additional support.
Warnings:
- Review the instructions carefully before using the product.
- Proper application is required.
- This device will not prevent or eliminate the risk of injury.
- Do not overtighten the straps.
- If swelling, pain, skin irritation, or an unusual reaction occurs, discontinue use immediately and consult your medical professional.
Care:
Hand wash the brace using mild soap and rinse thoroughly. Air dry only and
do not tumble dry.
Product Usage Instructions
- Loosen all straps, including the inside flap, and slide the brace onto the leg. If recommended by your healthcare practitioner, apply the optional gel buttress to the inside of the buttress flap. See the buttress application instructions included with the buttress.
- With the leg fully extended, center the brace on the knee and pull and fasten the upper flap. The inside buttress flap should be located just below the patella.
- Pull the lower strap through the loop lock and fasten it.
- Pull and fasten the inside buttress flap tabs as needed or instructed by your care provider.
- Pull the upper strap through the loop lock and fasten it.
- The application is completed.
Refer to the instructions on how to adjust the range of motion hinges on the back of the brace. Scan the provided code for a video demonstration.
Adjusting the Range of Motion Hinges:
- To remove the hinge cover cap, insert the provided tool into the space at the back of the hinge. The cap will come off using a twist or pry motion.
- Remove the E10 stops that come pre-installed.
- Choose the hinge stops with the desired degrees of extension and flexion.
- Install the extension stop (E) on the extension stop side of the hinge, and the flexion stop (F) on the flexion stop side of the hinge. The stops for both hinges must be set to the same settings.
- Apply the front edge of the cap to the hinge plate first, then press the posterior side to secure it.

- Completed application.
Adjusting the Range of Motion Hinges
