SAFETY AND INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING
- Before installing, servicing, or performing routine maintenance on this equipment, follow these general precautions.
- To reduce the risk of death, personal injury, or property damage from fire, electric shock, falling parts, cuts/abrasions, and other hazards, read all warnings and instructions included with and on the fixture box and all fixture labels.
- Proper grounding is required to ensure safety.
- Power must be turned off at the breaker before installation or maintenance.
- Installation, service, and maintenance of luminaires should be performed by a qualified licensed electrician.
- Wear gloves and eye protection at all times while installing, servicing, or performing maintenance on the luminaire, and avoid direct eye exposure to the light source while it is on.
- Do not install the damaged product. Inspect the luminaire for damage that may have occurred during transit. If damaged, contact the manufacturer immediately.
- These instructions do not purport to cover all details or variations in equipment nor to provide every possible contingency to meet in connection with installation, operation, or maintenance. Should further information be desired or should particular problems arise which are not covered sufficiently for the purchaser’s or owner’s purposes, contact the manufacturer.
CAUTION
- Do not alter or create any new holes in the wiring enclosure.
- To prevent wiring damage or abrasion, do not expose wiring to the edges of sheet metal or other sharp objects.
- Verify the supply voltage is correct by comparing it with the luminaire label information.
- All wiring connections should be capped with UL-approved wire connectors.
NOTICE
- The Green ground safN/ is provided in the proper location. Do not relocate.
- Minimum 90°C supply conductors.
Installation Instructions
- Bend the mounting tabs 90 degrees on each comer (Figure 1 ).
- Lay the fixture into the T-grid (Figure 2).
- Use safety cable(s) in accordance with local code (Figure 3).
- Install the conduit to the knockout in the cover plate.
- Make all electrical connections and attach the cover plate to the fixture. (Figure 4).
Field Adjustable Wattage & Color Temperature
- The end user may adjust the color temperature and wattage (lumen output) respectively using the two DIP switches.
- Each DIP switch is accommodated with three options (left, middle, and right), corresponding to three color temperatures and three wattages respectively, which can perform the desired color temperature and wattage (lumen output) combination.
- The DIP switches are located on the side of the fixture.
- Select a color temperature and wattage by sliding the DIP switch left or right respectively to the desired value.
- Factory settings: 5000K and 30W
