SAFETY ADVICES

PLEASE, TAKE TIME TO READ WELL THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE PARTICULARLY BEFORE THE FIRST USE.

A misuse of the appliance can damage it or hurt the user. Assure that you use the appliance for the use for which it is designed, we refuse any responsibilities as for the damages by an incorrect use or a bad manipulation.

  1. Check that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the appliance.
  2. The safety instructions do not by themselves eliminate any danger completely and proper accident prevention measures must always be used.
  3. Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use. Keep out of reach of children or incompetent persons.
  4. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard (*).
  5. Do not pass the cord over objects with sharp edges and keep it at a distance from, hot objects and bare flames. Always pull on the plug to disconnect it from the feed source.
  6. For extra protection it is possible to equip your home’s electrical system with a residual current circuit breaker with voltage break at 30 mA max mum. Ask your electrician for avise
  7. Make sure that the cord or the extension cable is not at risk of being pulled inadvertently nor of being topped over by anyone at the time of use.
  8. When you use an extension cable. Make sure that it is adapted to the appliance essential consumption. Contrary to this, the extension  cable or the plug risks overheating.
  9. Only use the appliance for domestic purposes and in the way indicated in the instructions.
  10. Never immerse the base of your appliance in water or any other liquid for any reason whatsoever. Never place it into the dishwasher.
  11. In case the appliance accidentally falls into water disconnect it immediately. Have it checked by an expert before re-using, if you do not do this you run the risk of electrocution.
  12. Never try to open the casing yourself
  13. Do not use the appliance if your hands are damp if the oil is wet, or if the appliance itself is damp.
  14. Do not touch the plug if your hands are damp or wet.
  15. Never use the appliance near hot surfaces.
  16. Before cleaning, always unplug the appliance from the power supply.
  17. Never use the appliance outside and always place it in a dry environment.
  18. Never use accessories that are not recommended by the producer. They could constitute a danger to the user and risk to damage the appliance.
  19. Never move the appliance by pulling the cord. Make sure the cord cannot get caught in any way. Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not bend it.
  20. Stand the appliance on a table or flat surface.
  21. Unplug the appliance when not in use.
  22. It is absolutely necessary to keep this appliance clean at all times as it comes into direct contact with food.
  23. Regarding the instructions for cleaning surfaces in contact with food, thanks to refer to the below paragraph “Cleaning” in the manual.
  24. Make sure the appliance is unplugged before inserting, removing or cleaning one of the accessories. It is absolutely necessary to remove the accessories before cleaning them.
  25. The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of external timer or separate remote control system.
  26. Keep this manual with the appliance. If the appliance is to be used by a third party, this instruction manual must be supplied with it.
  27. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 years and supervised.
  28. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
  29. This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
    • staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments
    • farm houses
    • by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments
    • bed and breakfast type environments

(*) Competent qualified electrician: after sales department of the producer or importer or any person who is qualified, approved and competent to perform this kind of repairs in order to avoid all danger. In any case you should return the appliance to this electrician

SPECIAL MEASURES

WARNING : HOT SURFACE

  1. The surfaces can be very hot during use. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use the knobs. Do not store or place any other item on top of the grill. Use extreme caution when removing drip pan or disposing of hot grease or other hot liquids.
  2. Extreme caution should be used when opening and closing the door
  3. Never line any part of the oven with aluminum foil. This may cause overheating and damage the unit.
  4. Use extreme caution when using containers that are not made of glass or metal.
  5. Extreme care should be taken when removing the broiler pan or discarding the hot grease in the appliance. Splashes can occur with the risk of burns.
  6. When operating the grill keep at least 10 to 15cm of space on all sides of the grill to allow for adequate air circulation.
  7. Do not clean with metal scouring pads. Pieces can break off the pad and touch electrical parts, creating a risk of electric shock.
  8. A fire may occur if the grill is covered, touching, or near flammable material, including curtains, draperies, when in operation. Do not store any item on top of the grill when in operation, or before the grill cools down.
  9. Do not store any materials, other than manufacturers recommended accessories, in this grill when not in use.
  10. Always wear protective, insulated mitts when inserting or removing items from the hot grill.

Information :
The unit will never start before you close the door well (Make sure that the metallic tongue well gets in touch with the internal button, a click has to be listened closing the door) and the inner blue light is off.

USING YOUR APPLIANCE

Before your First Use
Place your grill on a level surface such as a countertop or table. Be sure that rear surface of the grill is against the wall and other surface away from wall. Remove all stickers from the grill. Remove Drip Pan, Rotisserie Spit, Forks and kabobs and wash them in warm, soapy water or in the dishwasher. Dry thoroughly before placing in the oven

The door handle is removable, in order to let you take it out and clean the inside of unit. Before you use the oven, please assembly the handle yourself by the following assembly instruction picture.

When you are ready to use the grill, be sure that the TIMER Control is in the “Off” position and unplugged. We recommend a trial run to familiarize yourself with your grill and to eliminate any protective substance or oil that may have been used for packing and shipping. Plug the cord into a 220volt AC outlet. Set the TIMER Control to “20” minutes. A small amount of smoke and odor may be detected. This is normal. To avoid scratching, marring, discoloration or fire hazard, do not store anything on top of the oven, especially during operation

Using Your Grill for Rotisserie

  1. Place one rotisserie fork on the end of the rotisserie spit opposite the point with the tines facing the center and tighten the screw slightly.

  2. Slide the pointed end of the rotisserie spit through the center of the food to be cooked.

  3. Place the other rotisserie fork on the other end of the rotisserie spit with the tines facing the roast.

  4. Adjust the roast so that it is centered on the rotisserie spit. Make sure the forks are secure on the roast and on the spit and tighten the screws.

  5. When cooking poultry, it may be necessary to secure legs and wings to the body with butchers twine to make the roast as compact as possible for smooth movement of the rotisserie spit.

  6. Season or baste the roast as desired.

  7. IMPORTANT! Place the round drip pan into the receptacle at the bottom of the oven to catch the drippings.

  8. Put the solid end of the rotisserie spit in the drive socket on located in the center of the drip pan.

  9. Place the grooved end on the spit support on located on the top interior of the oven

  10. Close the glass door and the inner blue light will be off automatically.

  11. Set the TIMER Control to the time according to RECIPE.

  12. When the roast is done, turn the TIMER Control to “Off” and unplug the oven.

  13. Remove the rotisserie from the top by lifting up and out towards you. Pull the bottom part of the spit out of the drip pan receptacle and place onto a carving station.

  14. Place the roast on a cutting board or platter and allow standing for 10-15 minutes, this allows the juices to redistribute throughout the roast making for a moister, flavorful roast

  15. Using a pot holder, loosen the screws on the rotisserie forks and remove the rotisserie spit from the roast. Carefully remove the rotisserie forks and carve the roast.

Using Your Grill for Kabob

If your grill comes with Kabob accessories, please follow the instructions for use.

  1. Assembly the kabobs with following the below steps

  2. Place the round drip pan into the receptacle at the bottom of the oven to catch the drippings.

  3. Put the solid end of the rotisserie spit in the drive socket on located in the center of the drip pan.

  4. Place the grooved end on the spit support on located on the top interior of the grill.

  5. Close the glass door well and the inner light will be off automatically.

  6. Set the TIMER Control to the time according to recommended Recipe.

  7. When the roast is done, turn the TIMER Control to “Off” and unplug the grill.

Cooking tips

  1. Chicken , duck 30~45 minutes
  2. Steak 45~60 minutes
  3. Kabob 20~30 minutes
  4. Fish 20~30 minutes
  5. Vegetable 15~20 minutes

CLEANING AND STORAGE

  1. Turn the TIMER Control to “Off” and unplug before cleaning.
  2. Allow the grill and all accessories to cool completely before cleaning.
  3. Clean the outside of the grill with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly. Clean stubborn stains with a nonabrasive liquid cleaner. Do not use metal scouring pads or abrasive cleaners that will scratch the surface.
  4. Clean the glass door with a cloth or sponge dampened with warm, soapy water and dry thoroughly.
  5. Wash the drip pan in hot, sudsy water or in the dishwasher. Clean stubborn stains with a nylon or polyester mesh pad and a mild, nonabrasive cleaner. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
  6. If crumbs and spills have accumulated on the bottom of the grill wipe with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
  7. The walls on the inside of the grill allow food particles or spatters during use to be easily wiped clean. Remove heavy spatter after use with a nylon or polyester mesh pad, sponge or cloth dampened with warm water. Blot dry with a paper towel or soft, dry cloth.
  8. The Rotisserie spit and forks (without screws attached) , kabobs and fish basket can be placed in the dishwasher or washed in warm soapy water. Hand wash the screws in warm soapy water and dry thoroughly
