General Instructions
PLEASE, TAKE TIME TO READ WELL THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE PARTICULARLY BEFORE THE FIRST USE. A misuse of the appliance can damage it or hurt the user. Assure that you use the appliance for the use for which it is designed; we refuse any responsibilities as for the damages by an incorrect use or a bad manipulation.
- The safety instructions do not by themselves eliminate any danger completely and proper accident prevention measures must always be used.
- Place the appliance on a flat, dry and stable surface.
- Never use this appliance if it is not working properly, if it has been dropped, damaged or if it has been dropped into water. Take it to a service centre for inspection and repair.
- Never try to dismantle the appliance yourself.
- There is potential injury from misuse.
- Do not cover the appliance during use.
- Do not move the appliance during use or when it is hot.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and use maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 years and supervised.

- Do not pull on the power cord or the unit itself to unplug.
- Do not let the cord hang over the table or counter or touch a hot surface.
- The socket must always remain accessible when the appliance is plugged in.
- Only connect the appliance to a socket with a built-in earth connection. If an extension cord is used, it must have a built-in earth connection and must be able to withstand the power of the appliance. Make sure that no one is trapped inside.
- Make sure the appliance has cooled down before cleaning and storing it.
- Regarding the instruction for cleaning surfaces in contact with food thanks to refer to the below paragraph “cleaning” in manual.
- Do not leave the appliance unattended when it is plugged in or in operation
- Always unplug the appliance in case of malfunction, after use or before cleaning.
- Keep the manual with the appliance. If the appliance is to be used by a third party, this instruction manual must be provided. Use the appliance only for private use and in the manner indicated in the instruction manual.
- Do not use any accessories not recommended by the manufacturer as this may damage the appliance.
- It is absolutely necessary to keep this appliance clean at all times as it comes into direct contact with food.
- This type of device is not designed to be used continuously, it is not a professional device, it is necessary to stop it temporarily.
- Never use the device outdoors and never leave it in a place exposed to bad weather and humidity.
- This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
- staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments
- farm houses
- by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments
- bed and breakfast type environments
Competent qualified electrician: after sales department of the producer or importer or any person who is qualified, approved and competent to perform this kind of repairs in order to avoid all danger. In any case you should return the appliance to this electrician.

Before using for the first time :
- Remove the packaging that protects the appliance. Do not leave them within the reach of children.
- Clean the cooking plate and the pans with soapy water and wipe them with a soft cloth.
- Preheat the appliance for 15 minutes without any food. It is possible that a slight smoke will be produced during the first use. This is normal; make sure that the room is well ventilated.
Place the appliance on a flat, stable and heat-resistant surface. Be careful not to place the appliance on the edge of a table or worktop to prevent it from tipping over. Never place your appliance directly on a fragile surface, such as a glass table, cloth or plastic tablecloth, or varnished furniture. Never place aluminium foil or any other object under the stone or the hob, and between the reflector and the heating element.
- Carefully unwind the power cable and plug in the unit.
- If the appliance is equipped with an ON/OFF button or a thermostat, switch it on.
- Allow the appliance to preheat for 15 minutes.
- If your appliance is equipped with a thermostat, you can adjust the temperature during cooking by turning the knob from Max to Min as desired.
- After use, turn the thermostat to the Min position or turn the switch to OFF (depending on the model) to turn off the appliance, unplug the cord from the mains and allow to cool for 1 hour before moving or cleaning.
NOTE:
- Do not leave empty pans in the appliance while it is on.
- Do not cut your food on the plate.
- To avoid damaging the cooktop coating, always use a plastic or wooden spatula.
CLEANING AND STORAGE
- Maintenance and cleaning should be done when the appliance is unplugged and completely cool. Always clean your appliance after each use to avoid the accumulation of cooked and annealed food. Clean the accessories and the cooking plate in hot soapy water with a non-abrasive sponge or nylon brush.
- Do not put the appliance in the dishwasher.
- The appliance body can be cleaned with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
- The heating element cannot be cleaned. If it is really dirty, wait until it has cooled down completely and wipe it with a dry cloth.
- Store your appliance in a cool, dry place, away from moisture or the elements.
Correct disposal of the unit (Electrical and Electronic Equipment)

separate collection systems countries)
The European Directive 2012/19/EUon Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), requires that old household electrical appliances must not be disposed of in the normal household waste stream. Old appliances must be collected separately in order to optimize the recovery and recycling of the materials they contain and reduce the impact on human health and the environment. The symbol of the crossed out dustbin is marked on all products to remind the obligations of separate collection. Consumers should contact their local authority or retailer for information concerning the correct disposal of their product.
