General Instructions

PLEASE, TAKE TIME TO READ WELL THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE PARTICULARLY BEFORE THE FIRST USE.
A misuse of the appliance can damage it or hurt the user. Assure that you use the appliance for the use for which it is designed; we refuse any responsibilities as for the damages by an incorrect use or a bad manipulation.

  1. The appliance is intended for household use. All other using is forbidden. Don’t use outdoor.

  2. Before plugging in check that the voltage of your wall outlet correspond to the rated voltage manner.

  3. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and  knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

  4. Children shall not play with the appliance.

  5. Cleaning and use maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 year and supervised.

  6. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.

  7. Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use.

  8. Appliance inlet must be dried before the appliance is used again.

  9. Never used the appliance :
    – If the power cord is damaged
    – In case of bad operation
    – It has been damaged in any manner
    – It has been submerged in water
    – If you dropped it

  10. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons (*) in order to avoid a hazard.

  11. Never immerse your appliance in water or any other liquid for any reason whatsoever. Never place it into the dishwasher.

  12. To reduce the risk of electric shock, never operate this product with wet hands.

  13. Never unplug the appliance by pulling the cord.

  14. Unwind the cord of its flat to avoid the superheating of the appliance.

  15. Do not place an appliance on or near a hot gas or on a heated oven.

  16. It is absolutely necessary to keep this appliance clean at all times as it comes into direct contact with food.

  17. Regarding the instruction for cleaning surfaces in contact with food thanks to refer to the below paragraph “cleaning” in manual.

  18. The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of external timer or separate remote control system.

  19. WARNING: Unattended cooking on a hob with fat or oil can be dangerous and may result in fire

  20. NEVER try to extinguish a fire with water, but switch off the appliance and then cover flame e,g, with a lid or a fire blanket

  21. CAUTION: The cooking process has to be supervised, a short term cooking process has to be supervised continuously

  22. WARNING: Danger of fire: do not store items on the cooking surfaces

  23. After use, switch off the hob element by its control and do not rely on the pan detector

  24. Metallic objects such as knives, forks, spoons and lids should not be placed on the hob surface since they can get hot.

  25. Warning: if the surface is cracked, switch off the appliance to avoid the possibility of electric shock.

  26. A steam cleaner is not be used.

  27. This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:

  • staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments
  • farm houses
  • by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments
  • bed and breakfast type environments

(*) Competent qualified electrician: after sales department of the producer or importer or any person who is qualified, approved and competent to perform this kind of  repairs in order to avoid all danger. In any case you should return the appliance to this electrician.

WARNING: HOT SURFACE
Surfaces are liable to get hot during use.
WARNING: The appliance and its accessible parts become hot during use. Care should be taken to avoid touching heating elements. Children less than 8 years of age shall be kept away DO NOT OPERATE this product near water sources or flammable liquids.
DO NOT CLEAN OR TOUCH this product when it is still hot.

DESCRIPTION

Control panel

After inserting the plug in the socket, a beep will emit, the display and all control lights are activated shortly.
Press on/off button LED display shows C.

Cooking mode:
Place your pot/pan on the plate, press setting button until display shows 1600W which is default power for left burner and 1600W for right burner.
It can be adjusted by pressing “+” or “-“to set power you want, from 200 until 2000W for left burner, from 200 to 1500W for right burner.
To cancel this mode, press left button to switch to other cooking modes or on/off button to stop.

Temperature setting:
Press setting button until indicator of C° lights up, display will show 200°C for left burner and 180°C for right burner (default power in degree) but it can be adjusted by  pressing “+” or “-“to set power you want (from 60°C until 240°C), to cancel this mode, press setting button to switch to other cooking modes or on/off button to stop.
Note: Do not touch the hot plate
Timer function:
Press the timer button, it lights up, display will show default time “10” and you can adjust time by pressing “+” or “-“, with “+” you can adjust by 10 minutes and with “-“you  can adjust by one minute (range from 1 to 180min), then you can press timer button to confirm or wait until display stops flashing.
When the time is up, appliance “beep” and stops to change for standby mode automatically.
To cancel this function you can press on/off button to return on standby mode or hold the timer to resume the selected power or temperature.
Warning: after use, switch off the appliance. Don’t plug it out immediately, there’s 1 minute pre-set for the fan continuous working until the unit cool down. After the cooling  fan stops operation, unplug the appliance from the socket

Child lock function:
To prevent children from changing settings or turning appliance on, you can press ‘+’ and ‘-‘ at the same time, all keys would be locked.
Under ‘lock’ status, press ‘+’ and ‘-‘ at the same time and hold for 3 sec., the setting is unlocked again.
Or you could press ‘ON/OFF’ key, it would change to standby mode, then you could set needed function again.
Note: you can use steel, cast iron, enameled iron, stainless steel, flat- bottom pans/pots with bottom diameter from 12cm to 26cm.
Do not pull out the power cord during operation.

CLEANING AND STORAGE

Before cleaning, unplug and wait for the appliance to cool down.

  • Wipe with a moistened cloth.
  • Do not clean with any abrasive items or liquids, as this will damage the appliance.
  • Do not immerse in water or any other liquid.
