Overview

The wi fi temperature and wi fi temperature & humidity alarm use advanced signal analysis and processing technology to provide ultra-high-precision detection and anti-false alarm performance which guarantees its stability. When the temperature and humidity of the detection environment exceed the set upper and lower limits, it transmits an alarm signal to the mobile APP via WIFI. The product comes with temperature and humidity data collection and export function. This product is suitable for family residential areas, real estate villas, factory buildings, computer rooms, warehouses, office buildings and other places.

Install Operation

1. Download “tuya smart” app in the app store. Install and open it, and then begin to add the device.
2. Open the Bluetooth and location of your phone, connect it to wifi — open the APP click + in the upper right corner — auto search device nearby

• Power the device on — long press pairing key until the device shows SC — find the device
• add the device — Input wi fi password (this step may be skipped if wi fi is already connected) — OK

After connecting to wi fi, login to APP and add device

Search Bluetooth device nearby

1. Long press Paring key for 12 seconds.

2. The screen shows  indicating it enters pairing mode.

Main interface of equipment

The paring mode is 90 seconds only. The device would auto exit pairing mode after 90 seconds. If the app shows pairing failed, re-pair it in the same way step by step.

Function operation

1. Temperature &Humidity data export
   Open APP – enter the temperature device interface — click more temp in the bottom right corner – view temperature trend — click  x port, enter the mailbox to export.

2. Set temperature and humidity deviation compensation (maximum compensation value + 10)
   (Temperature compensation) Open app — enter the device interface — click — set the temperature humidity deviation value on the app.

3. How to distinguish multiple devices when one device alarms
   Click APP – enter the device interface -click*/”in the upper right corner – change the device name. Then when it alarms, it would push message by the changed device name.

4. Temperature humidity upper and lower limit settings
   Click APP – enter the temperature device interface — click three bars icon — set temperature and humidity upper lower limits

5. Fahrenheit and Celsius convert
   Click APP – enter the temperature device interface – click three bars icon in the bottom right corner – click Temp unit—- choose ‘For ‘C. After switching to Fahrenheit, the device display is converted with the system.

6. The device is shared by multiple people.
   Click APP – enter the device interface – click “/” in the upper right corner – choose share device — add sharing– add other tuya account

7. The same account works with multiple devices in different WIFI environment
   Connect multiple devices in different places to the same APP account. For example: add a device at home via home wifi; add another device in the office via office wifi.

8. Turn off device APP alarm push message
   Click APP – enter the temperature device interface – click three bars icon — select to turn off the corresponding alarm option. E.g. turn off upper temperature alarm, there will be no APP notification when the temperature goes above your preset value.

Notes for device pairing

1. Make sure the device, mobile and router are as near as possible
2. Make sure wi fi broad case is turned on, not hidden.
3. Make sure the router encryption is WPA2-PSK, authentication ty peis AES or set both to auto. Wireless mode could not set 11n only.
4. If the number of devices connected to the router reaches the upper limit, you can try to disable a device to vacate the channel.
5. If pairing fails repeatedly, try to use another phone as a hotspot. Connect your phone to the hotspot of the other phone and then repeat the pairing process. If it works, that means the device is working. Reset your home router and try the pairing again.

IPhone: Settings —Notifications—find tuya smart app—allow notifications

Xiaomi: settings – notification and status bar – notification management – – find tuya APP – click to allow various notifications – then exit to return settings – – find authorization management – self-start management – allow APP to auto-start .

Huawei: settings – notification and status bar – notification management – find tuya APP – click to allow various types of notifications – then exit to return settings — find authorization management — find tuya APP – permissions — self-start management — allow the auto-start.

OPPO/VIVO Mobile: Phone Settings – Status Bar and Notifications – Manage Notifications – Find tu ya App – Allows all types of push. – Exit the return settings – Authorization management – find the tu ya APP – allow self- starting. Other mobile phone settings are basically the same.

Extended function on tuya APP

Make call/sms when the device alarms; Set linkage to other product when the device alarms.

Note: This value-added call and SMS notification service is provided by Tuya smart. We do not provide technical support for this service.

Example 1: The device makes call and/or sends sms to user when the upper temperature alarm occurs: Open APP -— click Me in the lower right corner — Featured —Phone notification/message notification —-after you purchased it successfully return to main interface — click smart — choose automation — click + to create a smart scene — click when device status changes — choose temperature humidity alarm — choose temp. alarm — upper temp. alarm —send notification — phone or message notification — at last press confirm and save it.
Example 2: Set linkage with wi fi siren when the upper/lower limit temperature alarms Open APP — click smart— choose automation — click + to create a smart scene — click when device status changes — choose temperature humidity alarm — choose temp. alarm — upper temp. alarm —Run the device — choose wi fi siren—click turn on — at last press confirm and save it.

Precautions for use

1. Do not install it ina very humid, dusty or greasy place or a place with weak WiFi.
2. This product has no waterproof or fireproof design. Do not put it in water or use it outdoors. Do not use it in extremely high or low  temperature condition.
3. Use a router from a regular manufacturer. Thisproduct currently only supports 2.4G WIFI frequency band.
4. This product can reduce the occurrence of accidents, but it cannot be guaranteed you 100% safe. For your safety, in addition to using it correctly, the product should be regularly inspected and maintained. Trigger an alarm at regular intervals to make sure it works okay.
5. Mobile APP usage is not affected by WIFI range. As long as the device is connected to WIFI, the mobile phone can monitor the status of the device at any time. If the device has been paired with Wi Fi, when it is powered on after the power is off, the device will try to connect to the server automatically and no need to re-pair it to the Wi Fi. The device will display offline after it is disconnected from WI FI for 3 minutes.

2. this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
