Product Information

The JUMO MIDAS S05 is a universal OEM pressure transmitter that is used to convert pressure into a proportional electrical signal. It has a measuring range of up to 10 bar and can be powered by a voltage supply of DC 3 … 30 V. The output signal can be configured for use with a two-wire or three-wire system. The pressure transmitter comes with a fixed cable and a line socket for connection. It also has a functional bonding conductor for potential equalization.

Product Usage Instructions

1. Warning: Do not allow the sample medium to freeze in the pressure transmitter.
2. Connect the pressure transmitter to the voltage supply using the appropriate connection method (two-wire or three-wire system).
3. Ensure that the gasket is in place before connecting the line socket.
4. Connect the fixed cable and line socket to the appropriate terminals on the pressure transmitter.
5. Configure the output signal for use with your system.
6. Use the pressure transmitter to measure pressure and convert it into a proportional electrical signal.

• The pressure transmitter is used for measuring pressure in gases and liquids. If used incorrectly, the device can be dangerous. The device must only be installed, connected and operated by authorized and professionally qualified personnel, in accordance with these instructions, relevant standards and statutory requirements (as applicable to the application).
• It does not meet the requirements for “equipment with a safety function”, as defined by Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU.

CAUTION
The pressure transmitter has to be connected to the potential equalization system of the plant through the electrical connection or process
connection.

Requirements
