Important information for your safety is specially marked. It is essential to comply with these instructions in order to avoid accidents and prevent damage to the appliance:

NOTE: This highlights tips and information.

GENERAL NOTES

  1.  The appliance is designed exclusively for private, domestic use and for the envisaged purpose. This appliance is not fit for commercial use.
  2.  Check that the voltage indicated on the appliance rating label corresponds to the voltage in the mains.
  3.  Always plug the device into an outlet that is earthed. Risk of electric shock!
  4.  Do not place the heater in front of or below the power outlet.
  5.  Do not use an extension cable or multi-strips to connect the appliance.
  6.  The appliance is not intended to operate with an external timer or a separate remote-control system.
  7.  Do not use the device outdoors.
  8.  Do not use the appliance in bathroom, swimming pool or in rooms with high humidity level.
  9.  Keep a safe distance (at least lm) from flammable objects such as furniture, curtains, paper, etc.
  10.  When using the heater, keep a sufficient distance (at least 50cm) from the window or wall.
  11. . Do not place or hang the following, similar or other flammable materials such as paper, plastic, etc., on, in front of or inside the appliance.
  12. . Do not place in or under shelves, cabinets or similar places.
  13. ATTENTION: Please do not cover the heater with any object. Risk of fire!
  14. ATTENTION: Do not cover or block the heat outputs or air intakes of the heater.
  15.  The most common cause of overheating is dust and fluff residue on the appliance. Regularly remove the deposit of duct or fluff using a vacuum cleaner after unplugging the appliance.
  16.  Place the appliance on a flat and stable surface.
  17. . Do not let the power cord hang off the edge of a table or bench, or come into contact with sharp edges and hot surfaces.
  18. . Do not place the heater on carpets.
  19. . Do not place the power cable under carpets. ATTENTION: The protective grills are to prevent direct access to heating parts when the heater is in use. Do not place objects inside the appliance. Danger of electric shock!
  20.  Keep a distance of at least lm around all sides of the appliance in order to allow sufficient air circulation during appliance operation.
  21.  Do not operate the appliance without supervision. If you should leave the workplace, always unplug the appliance.
  22.  Always remove the plug from the socket after usage (pull the plug itself, not the lead).
  23.  Always unplug the appliance and let it cool down when you want to move it to another location.
  24.  When cleaning or storing the device, switch off the appliance and always pull out the plug from the socket (pull the plug, not the cable).
  25.  Always switch off and unplug the appliance when inserting/ removing accessories.
  26.  Regularly check the appliance and cable for signs of damage. Do not continue to operate the appliance in case of damage.
  27. . WARNING: Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord. In order to avoid the risk of an electric shock, never try to repair the appliance by yourself. Bring it to the authorized service station for repair. Use only the original spare parts.
  28.  If the surface is cracked, disconnect the appliance from the power supply to avoid electric shock.
  29.  ATTENTION: The appliance is not intended for use by children, disabled people or people with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities.
  30. Keep the appliance and its cord out of the reach of children and pets.
  31.  Do not let children play with the appliance.
  32.  In order to ensure your children’s safety, please keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of their reach. & WARNING: Do not allow small children to play with the foil. Danger of suffocation!
  33.  Children are not allowed to use the appliance.
  34.  Never immerse the appliance into water during cleaning. Check the “CLEANING” paragraph for cleaning instructions.
  35.  To protect again electric shock, do not immerse
  36. the cord, plug or unit in water or any other liquid. 37. Do not touch the appliance with wet or damp hands.

ASSEMBLY/ DISASSEMBLY

  1.  Remove the heater, feet and wheels from the package.
  2.  Place and press the wheels on the legs of the appliance until they fit well and secure.
  3.  Place the heater upside down.
  4.  Place the appliance legs with the wheels on the heater in such a way that the holes of the legs are aligned with the heater holes.
  5.  Insert the screws (screws are included inside the package) into the holes and screw them to secure the legs with the wheels on the heater.
  6. Turn the heater to an upright position.

FIRST USE OF HEATER

  1.  Plug the appliance in a properly installed and grounded outlet.
  2.  Rotate heating combination rotary switch, to select the high power mode (position II).
  3.  Select the MAX temperature level from the thermostat (HIGH).
  4.  Operate the heater for 5-10 minutes.
  5.  Rotate heating combination rotary switch, to switch off the heater (position O).

NOTE: During initial use and due to insulating materials on the fins, odor and/ or smoke may be caused. This is not a malfunctioning of the heater and stops after the initial heating of the heating tubes.
ATTENTION: In case of any damage, please switch the heater off immediately and disconnect the plug from the socket-outlet. In the event of cable’s damage, please visit a qualified technician for repair or replacement.

NOTE:

  • Use only indoors.
  • Use near to door and window.
  • After use unplug the plug from the socket.

USING THE APPLIANCE

HEATING COMBINATIONS

The heater has 2 heating combinations. Turn on the appliance by rotating the heating combination rotary switch and selecting one of the following power modes:

  • Low power operation (a position I – 1000W)
  • High power operation (position II – 2000W)

Turn off the heater by turning the heating combination rotary switch to the “0” position.

THERMOSTAT

Adjust the room temperature by rotating the thermostat and selecting the temperature level from LOW to HIGH.

CLEANING

  1.  Always make sure that the appliance is unplugged before cleaning it.
  2.  Do not pour water on or inside the heater.
  3.  Clean the appliance housing and control panel with a soft damp cloth.
  4.  Do not use anything abrasive that can scratch or damage the appliance. Do not use a wire brush or other abrasive utensils for cleaning.

STORAGE

  •  Always unplug the appliance before storing it.
  •  Always make sure that the appliance is cold, dry and clean before storing.
  •  Always store the appliance out of the reach of children.
  •  Always store the appliance in a safe and clean place. For the better protection of the appliance, store it in its original packaging.
