Product Information

This user manual is for the Tower Fan model FA-5560-2. The product requires a CR2025 battery and comes with screws to assemble the base and remote control. The fan has several functions,
including oscillation, timer selection, and negative ion function. It also has a fragrance box located below the vent, which can be used to add fragrance to the wind. The product can be cleaned with a neutral detergent and a soft cloth, but it is important to unplug the power plug before cleaning to avoid accidents.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Before using the product, carefully read the instruction manual.

  2. The fan is only intended for private use and should not be used commercially.

  3. Remove the product from its packaging and check all parts.

  4. Assemble the fan by aiming the poles with the corresponding holes and screwing them together (refer to fig. B in the manual).

  5. Plug in the power cord and push the button on the control panel to start the fan.

  6. To oscillate the fan, push the oscillation button on the control panel. Push it again to stop oscillation.

  7. To select the timer function, push the timer button on the control panel. The timer can be set from 1 hour to 7 hours.

  8. To activate the negative ion function, push the corresponding button on the control panel.

  9. To add fragrance to the wind, take out the fragrance box located below the vent and put some fragrance on the sponge inside. Then, put the box back in place.

  10. Clean the product with a neutral detergent and a soft cloth.
    Remember to unplug the power plug before cleaning. Do not leave any water on the control panel and do not use benzine, thinner, or other solvents to clean the product.

  11. If there is something wrong with the equipment, do not use it anymore and send it for repair by technical personnel.

  12. When disposing of the product, respect local regulations and hand it into an appropriate waste disposal center.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock, burns and another injury, including the following:

  1. Study this instruction manual carefully before using the product.
  2. The device is only intended for private and not for any commercial use.
  3. Remove the unit from its packaging and check to make sure it is in good condition before using.
  4. Do not let children play with parts of the packing (such as plastic bags).
  5. Check the household voltage to ensure it matches the fan’s rated specification.
  6. Check the power cord and plug carefully before use to make sure that they are not damaged.
  7. Before unplugging the power cord, be sure to turn off the power. When touching the unit, be sure your hands are dry to prevent from electric shock.
  8. Do not run the cord under the carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners or the like. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
  9. Do not use a soft surface, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
  10. Avoid the use of an extension cord because the extension cord may overheat and cause a risk of fire.
  11. Do not use outdoors.
  12. Avoid contact with moving parts. Keep hands, hair, clothing, spatulas and other utensils away during operation to reduce the risk of injury to persons and/or damage to the machine.
  13. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
  14. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

CAUTIONS

  • This appliance is not a toy.

  • To avoid the risk of fire or electric shock do not remove the housing by yourself.

  • Any servicing other than cleaning and user maintenance should be performed by an authorized service representative.

  • If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a special cord or assembly available from the manufacturer or its service agent.

  • Repair should be done by an authorized service personal only.

  • To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not immerse or expose the product, flexible cord or plug to rain, moisture or any liquid.

  • Do not operate the appliance with wet hands, in order to avoid damage.

  • Do not use the appliance near explosive and combustible gas.

  • Do no turnover the appliance. Unplug the power supply If it is toppled over and there have some water in the body. Dry the body before use.

  • Do not knock or shake the body when use, otherwise it may cause stop.

  • The appliance must not located immediately below a socket outlet.

  • The rating current of socket should exceed 10 A.

  • Do not use the appliance in the immediate surrounding of a bath, a show or a swimming pool.

  • Don’t keep the device in a watery environment;

  • Keep the device away the place of high temperature, ray and wetly.

  • Please turn off the power supply in the watery environment.

  • In the event that the appliance is dropped into the water, turn off the power at the power outlet and remove the plug immediately.
    DO NOT REACH INTO THE WATER TO RETRIEVE IT.

  • It is important to note that the appliance will have to be inspected by a qualified technician before using it again.

FUNCTIONS & OPERATION

Plug in first

  • Push the ON/OFF button to start and stop the fan
  • SPEED button : Push to select speed of: Low – Middle – High
  • TIMER button : Push it to select the timers from 1 hours to 7 hours, it will show on the display panel.
  • SWING button : Push the button to oscillate the fan, push it again to stop the function.
  • Negative ion function: Push the button to start or stop.

REMOTE CONTROL

  • To use the remote control, first remove the plastic spacer between the battery and the terminal.
  • Ensure that there are no objects between the remote control and the heater.
  • If the remote control still exhibits problems, minimise any ambient light sources that may interfere with the operation of the Infrared signal.
  • If the remote control stops working properly, replace the battery with a similar ”CR2025” button cell, ensuring that the polarity is correct

Push the button to start the fan
Push the button to select fan speed of Low-Middle –High
Push the button to oscillate the fan, push it again to stop the function
Push the button to select the timers from 1 hours to 7 hours.
Push the button to select the negative ion function.

ASSEMBLING

Step 1: Aiming the assemble poles with the corresponding holes, and insert the poles into the holes.
Step 2: Aiming the assembled base to screw poles of the fan body
Step 3: After well connect of the body and base, screw into the screw holes of the base. And put the power cord into the slot of the base.
Step 4: Put the fan flatly

THE USAGE OF FRAGRANCE BOX
In the front of the fan, there is a small box below the vent. There is a sponge inside the fragrance box. Take out the box and put some fragrance on the sponge if you would like the wind to blow with fragrance.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Clean with neutral detergent and a soft cloth. Attention: unplug the power plug when cleaning the appliance, since there has high pressure in the body. Do not leave any water on the control panel. Do not use benzine, thinner or other solvents. If there is something wrong with the equipment, do not use it anymore and went for the technical personnel for repair.
