Removal
Before replacing the switching module: on a TeSys Giga contactor:
- Remove the interlock module and coupling bars, if present.
- Remove all auxiliary contacts.
- On a contactor without cable memory, disconnect top and bottom power connections.
Note: On a contactor with cable memory, top and bottom power connections can remain connected. For more information, refer to the TeSys Giga Series- Installation Guide.
Switching Module Replacement
Clean the inside/interior and visually check the overall condition of the contactor.

Wear Diagnosis Reset
4.1 Without Remote Wear Diagnosis Module
- To reset the wear diagnosis indication, change the position of the Reset switch (from A to B or from B to A).
- After reset and after power on A1-A2, the contactor is in reset sequence for 10 s: the diagnosis LED is blinking and the contactor remains open. It closes after the 10 s.
4.2 With Remote Wear Diagnosis Module
- After wear detection, the Reset button is on the right.
- After replacement of the switching LC1G115 en modules, Reset the wear diagnosis 8C13353 Control indication by switching the Reset button to the left.
- After reset and after power on A1-A2, the contactor is in reset sequence for 10 s: the diagnosis LED is blinking and the contactor remains open. It closes after the 10 s.
