INTRODUCTION

The ThinkSystem SR650 V2 is a server that comes with various drive bay options and PCIe slots. The server also includes an LCD diagnostics panel, network activity LED, system error LED, VGA connector, USB 3 (5 Gbps) connectors, and XClarity Controller network connector.

Setting up the system

Follow the below steps to set up the system:

  1. Install the required server components.
  2. Install the server into the rack.
  3. Connect the server to power.
  4. Connect the server to the network.
  5. Turn on the server.
  6. Configure the server.

Product Usage Instructions

After setting up the system, use the following information for product usage:

  • Use the LCD diagnostics panel, network activity LED, system error LED, VGA connector, USB 3 (5 Gbps) connectors, and XClarity Controller network connector as needed for system monitoring and management.
  • Utilize the available drive bays and PCIe slots as necessary for storage and expansion.
  • Note that processor and memory options may impact operating speed and total memory capacity.
