Futura Launch Lead
The Futura Launch Lead is a fiber optic cable that allows for the launch of signal in a fiber optic link. It is designed to provide reliable and high- performance signal transmission for a suitable number of insertions.
Opening and Closing Futura
- To open, push the button below.
- To close, roll in the external cables clockwise and strictly.
- Keep connectors inside the fiber lead with one hand.
- Keeping the connectors inside, press down the cover.
Cleaning Futura’s Connectors
To maintain the reliability and performance of the connectors, it is recommended to clean them before and after every use. Follow these steps:
- Disconnect the cable from the device.
- Gently wipe the connectors with a clean, dry cloth.
- If necessary, use a cleaning solution specifically designed for fiber optic connectors.
- Gently re-connect the cable to the device.
Using Futura’s Magnet
The Futura Launch Lead comes equipped with a magnet that can be used to hold the cable in place during use. Follow these steps:
- Find a suitable location for the magnet on the device.
- Attach the magnet to the device.
- Place the cable on the magnet to hold it in place during use.

CLEANING FUTURA’S CONNECTORS
STEP 1
- Before and after testing operations, always clean up the ferule with a tissue drenched in isopropyl alcohol
STEP 2
- Cover the cleaned ferule with its dust cap
USING FUTURA’S MAGNET
STEP 1
- Tight the magnet on the central button until it is seated
STEP 2
- Attach Futura magnetically onto the rack for a hands-free use.
