Safety instructions

  • Incorrect operation and improper use of the appliance can seriously damage the appliance.
  • The appliance may only be used for the purpose for which it was designed. The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage as a result of incorrect operation and wrong use.
  • Never try to open the housing of the appliance yourself.
  • Do not insert any objects into the housing of the appliance.
  • Do not use the appliance if it has been dropped or otherwise damaged. Have it checked and repaired, if necessary, by a certified repair company.
  • Protect the charging cable(included) against damages. Do not let it hang over sharp edges, do not squeeze or bend it, and keep it away from hot surfaces.
  • Only use the provided charging cable or the cables recommended by the manufacturer to charge this appliance. See technical specification section.
  • If the charging cable is damaged, it must be scrapped.
  • This appliance must be switched off when removing the battery.

Battery safety instructions

  • Danger of explosion! Do not expose batteries or appliance to extreme temperature such as from direct sunlight or fire. Do not place the product on a heating source.
  • The batteries must be removed from the appliance before it is scrapped. Do not remove the build-in battery yourself! Bring the appliance to a qualified professional.
  • The batteries are to be disposed of safely.
  • Remove the charging cable from the appliance as soon as Li-ion battery is fully charged. Do not leave the appliance plugged in for an extended amount of time.
  • This appliance must only be supplied at safety extra low voltage corresponding to the marking on the appliance.
  • Recharge the build-in Li-ion battery within 6 months again to protect the life cycle of battery when you are not going to be using the product for a long period of time.

Intended use

  • The appliance is intended only for food weighting in professional use.
  • Operating the appliance for any other purpose shall be deemed a misuse of the device.
  • The user shall be solely liable for improper use of the device.

Large digital scale
The scale is equipped with and easy to read, energy-saving LCD display.

Preparation before use

  • Remove all the packing material and protection film (if applicable).
  • Check to make sure the appliance is undamaged. In case of any damage, contact the supplier immediately and DO NOT use the appliance.
  • Clean the weighting platform with a slighted damped cloth.
  • Charge the appliance until build-in Li-ion battery fully charged.
  • Press the “ ” button. The scale is now ready for use.

Operating instructions

Weighing

  • For optimal results, place the scale on a flat surface.
  • Turn on the scale by pressing the “ ” button, An “0.00” will appear on the display and the scale is now ready for use.
  • Select the desired measuring unit by pressing the “ ” button. In this way you can choose between g, oz, lb, kg and ml.
  • Set an empty bowl or container on the scale. The display will now indicate the weight of the bowl or container.
  • Press the “TARE” button to reset the scale to “0.0”.
  • Place the product to be weighed in the bowl or container and read its weight on the display.
  • You can weigh various products in the same bowl by pressing the “TARE’ button after add- ing each product, which will reset the display to “0” each time. Remember not to exceed the maximum weight of 10 kg.
  • Turn off the scale by pressing the “ ” button for over 2 seconds.
  • If you do not use the scale for 2 minutes, it will shut off automatically.

Low battery
When build-in Li-ion battery is running out of power, the display will show”L0”. Recharge the scale in time.

Overload

Maximum weight of the scale is 10 kg, when overloaded the display will show “0_Ld”. Overloading  the scale can damage the scalepermanently.

Warranty

Any defect affecting the functionality of the appliance which becomes apparent within one year after purchase will be repaired by free repair or replacement provided the appliance has been used and maintained in accordance with the instructions and has not been abused or misused in any way. Your statutory rights are not affected. If the appliance is claimed under warranty, state where and when it was purchased and include proof of purchase (e.g. receipt). In line with our policy of continuous product development we reserve the right to change the product, packaging and documentation specifications without notice.

Discarding & Environment

When decommissioning the appliance, the product must not be disposed of with other household waste. Instead, it is your responsibility to dispose to your waste equipment by handing it over to a designated collection point. Failure to follow this rule may be penalized in accordance with applicable regulations on waste disposal. The separate collection and recycling of your waste equipment at the time of disposal will help conserve natural resources and ensure that it is recycled in a manner that protects human health and the environment.
