Knockout Rugged Portable Speaker

Important – Warnings and Safety

  1. Do not place the speaker directly to sun’s exposure and also near heat sources such as fire, radiators, stoves and other apparatus that produce heat. Additionally, should avoid be placed in wet environment conditions such as rain.
  2. Use only accessories supplied by FINGERS.
  3. Unplug the speaker once it is fully charged, when unused for long periods of time or during lightning / thunderstorms.
  4. If the battery is incorrectly replaced, the explosion may occur. We recommend to replace it with the same type or equivalent type of battery.
  5. It is recommended to refer all servicing to qualified personnel. Servicing is required when the speaker has been damaged in any way. Any evidence of any attempt to open and/or alter the device, including any scratch, peeling, puncturing, or removal of any of the labels, will void the Limited Warranty.

Charging

– A red light indicates that it is in charging mode. Once it is completely charged, the red LED glow disappears.
– When it is low in power, it goes into self-protect mode and the volume will drop to 70%. Please note: Kindly charge for around 12 hours when using it for the first time.

Screen Display

  1. In case of USB and MicroSD Card mode, it implies pause state.
  2. U/TF Appears on the screen signifying that the playlists are playing from either of USB mode or Micro SD mode.
  3. REC Appears when in recording mode
  4. 88:88 Shows “LINE” when in AUX mode Shows “FM Frequency” when in FM mode Shows “Playing time” of the track when in USB and Micro SD mode Shows “BLUE” when in BT mode
  5. MIC Appears when Mic is in use
  6. Low power indication

Modes

You can enjoy your music in the following ways
i. BT
ii. FM Radio
iii. MicroSD
iv. USB
v. AUX
i. BT
– Press on the mode button till the voice prompt of the word “BT mode” is heard and the displays shows ‘BLUE’, signifying that it is ready to pair a device.
– Make sure that BT is enabled on your device. Find the device list and select FINGERS Knockout. A sound prompt of “Connected” is heard and it is ready to play.
– Repeat above steps to pair another device.
– Press ►ti and hold to disconnect or connect again ii. FM Radio
– Press on the mode button till the voice prompt of the word “FM Mode” is heard. – Press and ►I hold Hi to scan the stations automatically. You can again press the same button to stop the scan. – Once FM radio is tuned, you can short press   and ►I to navigate next and previous FM channel.
Note: The quality of FM Radio depends on the FM reception in your area.
iii. MicroSD
– Insert the Micro SD card in the provided port.
– You can then play your favourite tracks directly from the Micro SD Card.
iv. USB
– Insert the Pendrive in the provided port. – You can then play your favourite tracks directly from the USB port.
v. AUX
– If you wish to listen to music from mobile devices, plug in the AUX cable in the Aux port. – You can then stream music directly from your mobile devices.

Record Function

There is recording function built in the unit. There are two ways to record using built-in function and external using USB/Micro SD Card with Remote control.
L Built-in Record

  • Press and hold “Record” to start recording. The symbol “REC” will appear on the screen.
  • Short press oil to stop recording and short press to start recording again Press and hold “Record” again to exit record and play record file automatically. It can support up to 250 seconds recording duration.
  • Only 1 recorded file can be stored in the speaker. New record will replace the previous recorded track.
  • Short press “Record” to start playing the recorded track.
  • Press and hold “Mode” to delete the record. ii. External (using USB/MicroSD Card with Remote Control) – Once USB or Micro SD card is inserted, press and hold “Record” to start recording. The symbol “REC” will appear on the screen. – Short press “Record” to stop recording and short press “Record” to start recording again. Press and hold “Record” again to exit record and play record file automatically. It can support up to 250 seconds recording duration.
  • Short press “Record” to start playing the recorded track.
  • While playing recorded track, short press “Record” to exit laying recorded track and it starts playing music.
  • Press and hold “Mode” to delete the record.

VIII. 7WS setting

  1. To begin pairing, bring two Knockout between proximity of each other and switch ON the power.
  2. Press “Mode” to enter Bluetooth mode for both Knockout speaker.
  3. Find the device list and select ‘FINGERS Knockout’. The first portable speaker connected successfully will be the primary one for TWS function while the other one will act as the secondary one.
  4. Press and hold TWS / M1 key of one of the Knockout speakers. They will connect to each other and TWS playback is ready. Press and hold TWS / key to break the connection between the two speakers.
    Note: TWS function can only be enabled to pair two Knockout Portable Speaker in Bluetooth mode.

IX. Microphone Setting Turn on the unit and wireless microphone, they will be paired automatically.

Remote Control

  1. Record: Insert USB/TF card and open wireless microphone. Press and hold to start recording. Again long press to exit record.
  2. Mode: To navigate among different modes of BT, USB, MicroSD, AUX and FM Radio Note: You can only enter into USB and MicroSD card mode when USB and MicroSD card is inserted.
  3. Equaliser Control (EQ): To adjust various music modes such as Normal, Rock, Pop, Classic, Jazz and Country.
  4. Mute: Short press to enable mute; press again to disable mute.
  5. Play/Pause: Single press to Play/Pause in USB and Micro SD mode Press and hold for automatic scanning of FM channels
  6. Next Track: Short press to go to next track in USB/SD/BT mode; Long press to Volume Up While in FM mode, short press to select next saved FM channel
  7. Repeat: To repeat tracks in various ways in USB/MicroSD card mode, in the order of ONE — FOLD — RAN — ALL — DEU ONE: Repeats the current track FOLD: Repeats all the tracks in the folder. RAN: Plays the random song in a selected folder ALL: Plays all songs (across all folders) repeatedly DEU: Plays the tracks in USB or MicroSD card
  8. Previous Track: Short press to go to previous track in USB/SD/BT mode; Long press to Volume Down While in FM mode, short press to select previous saved FM channel
  9. 0-9 Numeric Keys: To select desired track in USB and MicroSD mode, and to select saved FM channel When in USB and MicroSD card mode, you can choose the song quickly. For example, you would like to listen 258th track, press ‘2″5″8’ and wait for a second. It will turn to the 258th song and play automatically. When in FM mode, press 1 digit or double-digit to choose the stocked FM station, while press 4 digits for FM frequency. There are 9 pre-loaded songs. Press and hold “1-9” to choose different tracks for various occasions.

Care and Maintenance

  1. Switch off the speaker before cleaning it.
  2. Use soft, damp cloth to clean the surface.
  3. Do not use any chemicals, solvents, or cleaning solutions containing alcohol, ammonia or abrasives.
  4. Do not allow any liquid to enter into any of the openings.
