Outdoor camera installation
Installation position
* Note
Avoid camera from direct sunshine. At darkness, if camera is intensely
illuminated by street light or light emitting object, installing lamp near to
doorbell i s needed to enhance camera imaging.
Doorbell camera installation
Warm reminder: After installing the doorbell, please use the side screw to fix the doorbell battery as show in Pic4 to avoid poor battery power connection.
Home management and device sharing

Home management
New user register and log in(Pic1), click”Me, select”Home Management”(Pic2), click”My Home”(Pic3), “Home Name “you can set the home name as you like, maximum of 25 characters can be entered(Pic4)“Location”will be set according to your mobile phone location, or you can set as per your real location(Pic1), then click”OK”to confirm(Pic2). You can use default room name, also can click “Room Management”to set name for the rooms , maximum of 25 characters can be entered(Pic3). After completing Home Management setting then back to the home page. Home page showing “Weather, temperature, home name, etc”. -
Add family members
Go to Home Management page, select the created home, click “Add Member”(Pic1), Tia app account”(Pic2), input the member’ s account which you want to add. The invited member’ s Tay app will get a invitation message, you can check in the “Message Center”(Pic5), then open App, Click “Me”and go to “Home Management”, then click “wait to join”and click “Accept”to join(Pic4), will show the jointed home in the “Home Management”page. And administrator’s Home Setting page showing the added member’ s Tuya account(Pic6).

Pair the 7 inch touch screen with Tuya app

Power supply the indoor screen monitor , it will turn on automatically .

Select “Display”-“WLAN”, go to WIFI setting interface.

Open “WLAN” , click “add network” go to WIFI searching interface.

Select your home used 2.4G/5G WIFI , and input the password, then press “Connect”.

After setting successfully back to WIFI setting interface, it will obtain the IP address.

Open Tuya app , click “+” on top right corner, then click “Scan”

Scan the QR code on the top left corner of the screen monitor to add the device

Press “Done” on app, adding device completed.

Working principle
Function introduction

- Notification setting
Visitor call (doorbell)
If visitor make call from outdoor camera, smart phone Tuya app will receive
call notification, you can answer the call, and the video will be stored in TF
card. If not answer the call it will automatically end after 30 seconds.
During intercom press lock button can open the lock( need unlock module wiring
with lock ). Intercom will end automatically after 90 seconds and doorbell
back to standby status
Real time monitoring
If you want to know the outdoor situation you can open app to active the
monitoring function to see the video of the outdoor. During monitoring you can
operate to take photo, record video, full screen viewing, set video image
quality, talk to outdoor unit, open lock, etc.
Storage functions
TF card on indoor screen can store all the video data, like motion detection
video, calling video, monitoring video, and you can see all the videos through
Playback or in message center on indoor screen. Also can view the videos
through Playback on App and download the videos you need. You can check TF
card capacity under menu of “Display-TF card” on indoor screen.
Share device
You can add friends and relatives in Home Management.After successfully
adding, all members can use the device.
Other operations
“Camera-Setting-Tone settings” can mute the microphone for motion detection
function. “Camera-setting-Power management setting”, LED button is opened in
default setting, and the LED light will bright when active motion detection,
monitor, call function. if close it the LED light only bright when visitor
make a call.
Motion detection
When the outdoor camera detect motion detection, will send message to
smartphone Tuya app and record the video. You can review the videos in
Playback menu. You can set the PIR motion detection sensitivity.

Intercom between indoor screen and outdoor camera
Press “camera”on screen enter to camera interface, then press the PLAY i con, you can see live video of outdoor. Press the ANSWER com to active the microphone then can talk to doorbell camera.
If visitor make call from outdoor camera indoor screen w i l l ring and show live video. The top screen will show microphone icon after answer the call, and you can talk to the visitor.
AC/DC wiring instructions
- Put the wiring board into the corresponding AC/DC hole on the back of the video doorbell, and then fix the screws.
- Use the matching push-type quick-connect terminal, keep one end pressed down, insert the wires of the terminal block individually and release.
- The other end also remains pressed down to connect to the external power supply, regardless of positive and negative pole, just connect to the terminalthen release. Please note that the external power supply AC: 8-24V, DC: 8-36V.
Connect the holes to the terminal board and fix the screws| Press and hold one end of the terminal block and connect the wires to the ports| Press and hold the other end of the terminal, regardless of positive and negative, connect the cable of the external power supply to the port.
Lock wiring diagram (Optional)
In intercom or monitoring status press unlock button can open lock for visitor. Caution: The unlock module already paired with the device in factory, no need to pair again. If prompt not paired please confirm with your after sales service and refer the below operation.
- Please wire the lock with the Unlock module as per the diagram, then connect to electricity power supply .
- Long press the pair button on unlock module for around 5 seconds till the red light tinkle 3.Indoor display in monitoring status, press the unlock button to open lock, the lock is unlocked and the unlock module will sound “di” , prompt pairing successfully.
After pairing successfully, you can set the unlock time, default unlock time is 1 second. Press one time the button on the unlock module„ red indicator light slowly twinkle three times, set unlock time 3 seconds. Press one time again the button on the unloik module, indicator light slowly twinkle five times, set unlocktime 5 seconds. Press the button one time again, indicator light slowly twinkle eight times, set unlock time 8 seconds.
Precaution
- Do not place the visual intercom system near places with strong magnetic fields;
- Do not directly spray water or other liquids onto the visual intercom system;
- Do not hit the display screen or doorbell heavily;
- Do not expose to sunlight or place under strong reflected light;
- Do not install a visual intercom near ammonia and toxic gases;
- There is high voltage current inside the system. Do not disassemble this device casually;
- Do not use cleaning agents or other chemical solvents to wipe the doorbell and display screen;
- The display screen is recommended to be placed at a height of more than one meter. Do not straighten the door bell
- If the machine fails, do not disassemble it by yourself. Instead, send it to a local maintenance point for maintenance or contact our company directly After sales service contact;
Warm tips: Stand up the antenna during use, it will reach longest range.
Trouble shooting

No notification to phone app after making a call
(a) check whether the indoor screen paired with the outdoor camera and whether paired with the app.
(b). Check whether notification permission to APP is allowed on mobile phone setting.
(c). Check whether opened the notification in APP setting. -
Smart phone no sound in intercom mode
(a). check whether mobile allows APP to access microphone and record audio
(b). Check whether the microphone of the doorbell camera is blocked up -
App showing gateway off line
(a). Please check whether smartphone connect WIFI or 4G or 5G net.
(b). Check indoor screen whether connect WIFI or please restart the screen machine. -
Indoor screen no response or no ringtone after making a call
(a).Check “Display-Camera”if indoor screen paired with outdoor camera,
(b).Check “Display-Ring”if turned of the ringtone
(c).Check if the signal between indoor screen and outdoor camera is interfered or exceeded the applicable distance.
(d).Check if the call tone is turned off in ” Camera -Tone setting”
(e).Check if Turned on the “Mute switch” on screen monitor -
No voice in indoor display during communication
(a). Check if indoor display microphone is blocked up
(b). Check if outdoor camera microphone is blocked up
(c). Check if volume is turned off in volume setting -

- Power on both indoor display and outdoor camera.

Reset the display to factory setting.

Press “Display-Camera-Add device” on display .

Fast press three times the Pair hole button on outdoor camera

Both devices sound “Duan” to prompt pairing succeed.
Attention:

One screen only can pair with only one app account, but the master user can create a home and invite members to to home and share to use the device.

If need to reset the indoor screen , press”Display”-“About”go to “Device information”then press “Reset factory setting”. After resetting factory setting the product will lost connection, have to pair again.
