Operating Instructions
Please read the following instructions carefully before using the device and keep them.
The Flower drinking fountain is the freshness fountain for your pet. Many cats and dogs prefer moving drinking water. Unlike standing water from a bowl, it resembles natural water sources such as streams and ponds. Some animals even avoid the plain water bowl altogether, and as a result, they do not receive an adequate supply of water. The Flower is the ideal solution in this case. It provides flowing water and encourages your pet to drink. The bubbling of the water enriches it with oxygen and naturally cools it. The filter additionally purifies the water.
Startup
- First, run the pump‘s power cable through the cable duct and out from inside the water tank.
- Now connect the cable to the adapter.
- Insert the filter sponge into the grey cover from above to protect the pump.
- Place the white cover on the grey lid and then insert the flower shaped attachment until it clicks into place. Depending on how deep the attachment is inserted, the water flow changes.
- Now attach the pump to the bottom of the grey cover using the plastic tube.
- Insert the grey lid together with the pump into the water tank.
- Then fill the fountain with water (approx. 2 liters). Do not let the pump run without water. If you hear the pump sucking in air and being louder than usual, the water level is too low. Fill in water immediately.
- The power plug can now be plugged into the socket.
- The adjustable pump allows you to choose the strength of the water jet yourself. To do this, adjust the slider on the pump.
Please note
- Never run the pump without water or when the water level is too low.
- Unplug the drinking fountain before any maintenance.
- Do not touch any moving parts.
- Please do not use the device outdoors.
- To disconnect the power supply, do not pull the cord, but grab the power plug instead.
- Do not operate the drinking fountain with a damaged power cord or plug, after a malfunction, after it has been dropped or should it be damaged in any other way.
- Make sure that the power plug does not get wet and is not plugged in when wet. It is advisable to use an outlet that is higher than the drinking fountain.
- Please note that this item should not be disposed of with household waste. Drop it off at a disposal facility appropriate for the type of equipment.
- The included pump (#24446-10) and filter (#24447) are available separately as replacement parts.
Cleaning
- If the Flower is used by an animal, the water should be changed every two days. The filter should also be cleaned once a week. If more than one animal is used, at correspondingly shorter intervals.
- For cleaning, you can simply remove and clean the pump, the plastic parts and the filter.
- The fountain parts themselves are dishwasher-safe.
