Alpha iQ Streaming Powered Speakers with BluOS
Product Information: Alpha iQ
The Alpha iQ is a set of speakers that can be connected to your home network via WIFI or Ethernet. The speakers come equipped with BluOS software that allows you to discover, manage, and stream music all around your home. The speakers have LED lights that indicate their status during setup, and the setup process can be done through an Android device. The product also incorporates Spotify software.
Product Usage: Alpha iQ Setup Guide / Android
- Prepare speakers for setup by unboxing them and connecting them to power.
- Launch the BluOS app on your Android device and accept the End User License Agreement.
- Choose the player you want to set up or connect to.
- If setting up a secondary speaker, make sure it is also ready for setup and connected to power.
- Choose whether you want to set up the speakers wirelessly or through an Ethernet connection.
- If setting up wirelessly, choose the WIFI network you want to connect your speakers to and enter the password.
- Name your player or use a suggested name.
- If upgrading the primary player, wait for the upgrade process to complete.
- If setting up a secondary speaker, initiate the pairing process through the app.
After completing the setup process, you can use the app to manage and stream music to your Alpha iQ speakers. Enjoy your music all around your home with ease!
Prepare Speakers for Setup
- Get both Speakers out of the box and connect them to Power

- Scroll down to enable the „Accept“ button
- Click „Accept“ to continue
Welcome to BluOS
- Click „Get Started“ Button to begin the Setup Process
Looking for Players
- The BluOS App will look for Players on your Network
- After it found a Player click on it to start the setup of that Player
LED Colors during Setup
Secondary Player
- Follow the instructions to ensure that the Secondary Player is also ready for setup
- Click „Continue“ once it is ready
Connecting to WiFi
WiFi Setup
- Choose the Wi-Fi you want to connect your Player to
- Enter WIFI password and click „Continue“
Player Name
WIFI Setup
- Either choose a suggested Name for your Player or type in a custom one.
Ethernet Setup
- Either choose a suggested Name for your Player or type in a custom one.
Primary Player
- Once the Player is connected to your Network, it will check for a Software Upgrade and install it if needed
- Please wait for the Upgrade to finish
- First time upgrade may take up to 20 minutes
Pairing with Secondary
- After the Upgrade is finished, the BluOS App will look for the Secondary Player
- Click the „Start Pairing“ button to initiate the Pairing Process
Player Positions
- One of the Players is playing a tune, please select wither it’s the left or right one from your listening position
- Click „Continue“ to finish the pairing

Secondary Player
- Once the Secondary Player is paired, it will check for a Software Upgrade and install it if needed
- Please wait for the Upgrade to finish
Setup Complete
- Click „Finish“ to end the setup process
Alpha iQ Status Guide
Under normal operation both LED will be blue
LED Status
Blinking Green: Trying to connect to WiFi Network
Solid Green: Hotspot Mode (Ready for Setup)
Blinking Red & Green: Installing Upgrade
Solid Purple: Hotspot Mode Timeout (Press & Hold Play/Pause for 5 sec to start over)
Solid Red: Initialization & Upgrade Mode
Blinking Blue & Purple: Not Paired
Solid Blue: Connected to Network & Ready for Use
