Product Information
The Blackstone outdoor cooking gas appliance is a grill with a
griddle cooking surface. It is important to follow the assembly
guide and owner’s manual to ensure safe and proper usage of the
appliance. Improper installation, use, adjustment, alteration,
service, modification, or maintenance can cause injury or property
damage. The appliance should be placed on a heat-resistant and
flame-resistant surface while in use. The unit should be cleaned
after each use to prevent grease buildup and potential fire
hazards.
Product Usage Instructions

Assemble the appliance according to the assembly guide and
owner’s manual. Use gloves while assembling due to sharp
edges. -
Place the appliance on a heat-resistant and flame-resistant
surface while in use. -
DO NOT leave the hood closed for more than 10 minutes while
cooking. -
Grease build-up on the Flame Tamper can catch fire when heated,
so clean the top of the Flame Tamper after each use. -
The handle will get hot while appliance is in use, so DO NOT
touch the handle while appliance is hot. -
DO NOT place items on stabilizing shelf during use and DO NOT
sit or stand on the table. -
A clogged burner can lead to a fire beneath the appliance.
Burner should be removed and cleaned annually or whenever heavy
build-up or insects/arachnid nests are found. -
Flammable items can spontaneously combust if placed near the
appliance. DO NOT place flammable items such as aerosol containers,
oily or greasy towels near the cooking surface. Keep the outdoor
cooking gas appliance area clear and free from combustible
materials, gasoline and other flammable vapors and liquids. -
Soap will ruin a seasoned griddle. This is the only time you
should use soap on the griddle cooking surface. -
A frosty regulator indicates gas overfill. Immediately close
LPG cylinder valve and call local LPG dealer for assistance.
Remember to follow all instructions carefully to prevent injury
or property damage. If the information above is not followed
exactly, a fire causing death or serious injury may occur.

Place appliance on a heat-resistant and flame-resistant surface while in use.
NEVER leave oil exposed in the rain. This can lead to severe burns. Place the
included hardcover on the burner when not in use or if it begins to rain.
NOTICE
·DO NOT mix old and new batteries. ·DO NOT mix alkaline, standard (carbon-
zinc) or rechargeable (ni-cad, ni-mh, etc.) batteries.
NOTICE · Maximum weight on the side shelf is 10 lbs (4.5 kg). · The side shelf
may get hot while appliance is in use.
NOTICE DO NOT leave the hood closed for more than 10 minutes while cooking.

To prevent damage to the unit and/or injury, clean the top of the Flame Tamper
after each use.

If growing bubbles appear during leak test, DO NOT use or move the LPG
cylinder.
Immediately contact an LPG supplier or fire department.

If leaks cannot be stopped, DO NOT try to repair. Regulator must be replaced
with a Blackstone approved model by a professionally licensed, authorized
dealer.

If burner does not ignite with open LPG cylinder valve, gas will continue to
flow out of burner and could accidentally/ inadvertently ignite with risk of
injury. Ensure gas is o at the supply shut o valve before checking appliance
valves.

If you live in a humid or coastal climate, your griddle may require more
frequent seasonings between uses.

This appliance will be hot during and after use. Use longhandled utensils and
oven mitts/ protective gloves when handling potentially hot parts to protect
against burns and splatters.

DO NOT store any items within 3 in (8 cm) of the cooking surface while in use.
Grease cup will be hot during and after use. DO NOT remove the grease cup until the griddle has completely cooled.
