Honeywell SRX Series Wireless Telecommunication Equipment Headset
Product Information: SRX Series Headset
The SRX Series Headset is a wireless headset designed for use with Honeywell A-series Mobile Devices. The headset comes with a stability strap and a microphone that should be positioned about 1 (2cm) from the corner of the user’s mouth. The headset also comes with a rechargeable battery that can be removed for charging.
Product Usage Instructions: SRX Series Headset
Installing the Stability Strap
- Locate the stability strap included with the headset.
- Attach one end of the strap to the left earpiece of the headset and the other end to the right earpiece.
- Adjust the strap until it fits comfortably and securely around the back of the user’s head.
Starting a Shift – Wireless Headset
These instructions are for use with personal or shared electronic modules:
- Select the device to be used with the headset.
- Power on the SRX Series Headset by pressing the power button until the LED light illuminates solid green.
- Touch the electronic module to the device at the symbol.
- Put on the headset and adjust the microphone’s position until it is about 1 (2cm) from the corner of your mouth.
End a Shift – Wireless Headset
- Power off the electronic device by pressing and holding the Play/Pause button until the LED rotates red.
- Slide the device out of the holster or clip (depending on your device model).
- Insert the device into the slot with button controls facing out and the Operator button on top.
- Power off the headset.
- Remove the rechargeable battery by squeezing the release buttons.
- Place the battery into the charger.
- Remove the belt by releasing the buckle.
Charging the Headset Battery
- Plug in the charger to a power source.
- Place the headset into the charger with the earpieces facing down.
- The LED light on the charger should turn solid red to indicate charging has begun.
- The LED light on the charger will turn solid green when charging is complete.
- Remove the headset from the charger and disconnect the charger from the power source.

Touch electronic module to device at symbol

Put on headset and position microphone

Power on SRX device

Touch headband to device at symbol

Slide device out of holster

Insert into slot
Insert device with button controls facing out and Operator button on top -
Power off headset
-
Remove battery
Squeeze battery release buttons

Place in charger

Remove belt
Release buckle
