Product Usage Instructions:

  1. Plug the Eve Energy device into an indoor socket with earth contact.
  2. Download and install the Eve app from the App Store.
  3. Open the Eve app and tap ‘Add Accessory’ to set up the device. Follow the on-screen instructions provided by the app.
  4. To use the child lock feature, enable it through the Eve app. This will prevent unauthorized access to the device and its settings.
  5. To control the device manually, use the button on the device itself. Press it once to turn it on, and press it again to turn it off.
  6. To create schedules for the device, use the Eve app. Open the app and select ‘Schedules’. Follow the on-screen instructions to set up a schedule that matches your daily routine.
  7. To track device consumption and calculate projected cost, open the Eve app and select ‘Energy’. Enter your electricity rate under ‘Settings > General > Energy Cost’ to accurately calculate costs.
  8. To safeguard personal data, make sure to keep the HomeKit Setup Code in a safe place. This code is needed to securely add Eve to your home, and nobody but you should have a copy.

Safety Instructions

Do not connect appliances to this remote controlled socket-outlet if the instruction manual of the appliances prohibits being remote controlled (for example appliances according to EN 60335-2-9 like grills, toasters and similar portable cooking appliances, or portable kitchen appliances, or appliances with heating elements like ovens or heaters, etc.).
Do not connect any appliances to this remote controlled socket-outlet which are radiating heat and may cause ignition or burning of surrounding materials (for example radiation heaters, portable heaters, portable floodlights, desk lamps, etc.).
Take into consideration that connected appliances might be moved by pets, cleaning staff or other persons who are not aware of the remote control functions.
Do not connect any appliances with potential hazards by moving parts (for example drills, table saws, blenders, etc.).
The connection/installation of this product should be in a suitable area with the remote controlled socket-outlet easily readable and accessible for disconnection actions.
Only voltage free if the plug is pulled. Do not connect in series.

Get started

  1. Plug Eve Energy into a socket.

  2. Download the Eve app from the App Store.

  1. Open the Eve app and tap Add Accessory. Eve will now guide you through the setup process.

  2. If you have already set up another accessory, go to the Eve settings to add Eve Energy to your home.

Securely access Eve Energy while you’re away from home and set up powerful automations. Any Apple TV HD, Apple TV 4K or HomePod using the same iCloud account as your iPhone will automatically serve as a home hub, no further setup required.

Projected cost can be calculated based on the consumption of the last minute, day or week. Go to Settings > General > Energy Cost to enter your electricity rate and accurately calculate costs.
