Do’s & Don’ts

  1. Do not eject the steam directly towards people or animal, or scald may be caused.
  2. Only use the detachable accessories when there is no steam and they are cooled down to avoid scalds.
  3. Conduct the installation in accordance with the instructions. Do not dismantle without authorization.
  4. The liquid or steam must not be directed towards equipment containing electrical components, such as the interior of ovens.
  5. Do not operate the machine unless you read this manual thoroughly. The machine can only be used indoors.
  6. The machine can only be used for the purposes described in this manual. Utilization for other purposes is prohibited.
  7. The water for the machine shall be domestic potable water to avoid contaminating the textiles. Purified water is recommended.
  8. Make sure the working voltage of the machine accords with your domestic supply voltage and the machine is connected to power supply mounted with 30mA creep age protection switch. Only the firmly grounded 3-pole socket is applicable for the machine.
  9. Thoroughly stretch the power cords before use. Avoid sharing the same power supply with other high-power electric appliances. Do not use wiring board in order to prevent fires arising from the wiring board overloaded.
  10. Before operation, connect all the necessary ironing or cleaning accessories, fill the water tank to full and then turn on the power supply switch.
  11. Do not fill hot water in the tank, or the tank would deform. Fill water before operation and observe the water level from time to time. Add water to proper volume in case it is below the designed water level.
  12. Do not directly put the machine under water tap to fill water.
  13. Do not fill solutions such as detergent into the tank.
  14. Keep power cord away from sharp objects or other heating elements.
  15. Do not leave the machine operating without attention.
  16. The machine shall not be operated by these people (including children): the physically, tactilely or mentally disabled or those who lack of experience and knowledge, unless they are supervised or guided by someone who is responsible for their safety in respect of the application of the machine.
  17. Children shall be monitored to be prevented from playing with the machine.
  18. During operation, keep the ironing brush away from people, animal or domestic electric appliance. When the machine is not in use, turn off the steam jet switch and put the machine for cooling before storage.
  19. During operation, do nottouch the steam jet outlet or drag the power cords.
  20. If the ironing head has visible damage oris leaking, stop using it.
  21. To avoid scald by steam, after operation, turn off the power supply, pull out the plug, pour out the remnant water and, when the machine is cooled down, then the machine packed and stored. However, let the machine air dried before packing and storage. Do not pull put the plug by dragging the power cord.
  22. Use dry soft cloth and neutral detergent to clean the machine surface and do not use solvents such as gasoline, alcohol, banana oil, etc. Prevent liquids penetrating into the machine.
  23. Do not soak the machine, power cord or plug in water or other solutions. Do not keep the machine in places which are damp, exposed or of corrosive gases.
  24. Keep the machine away from flammable or explosive objects.
  25. Turn off the power supply and pull out the plug before discharging water from or filling water in the tank. Avoid water leakage. Do not open or take down the tank in use.
  26. If find any damage on the accessories especially the safe protection and power cord, stop using the machine and inform our professional personnel of service center for repair. Do not repair at your own discretion.
  27. Before cleaning or repairing the machine, turn off the power supply, pull out the plug, release the pressure inside the heating element of the base and let the machine cool down.

Safety Instructions

| Plug the power plug in thoroughly to avoid electric shock, as well as open circuit, short circuit, smoking and Flammarion caused by over-heat of plug.

| Do not intend to refit, remove or repay the product in respect of fire, electric shock or other injuries.
| Do not insert the metal needle into heat dissipation hole or clearance in respect of injury caused by electric shock
| Do not put the product in water or damp environment or close to other heat sources, and do not put the inner boiler on the naked fire.
| Hold the plug rather than haul the power cord to pull out the power plug.
| Do not operate on the unstable platform or cushions which could not receive heat in respect of injury or fire caused by fallen ironing head.
| Wipe the ironing head after totally cooling down to avoid scald.
| Use the socket with rated voltage same as appliance, separately from other electric appliances, otherwise,  fire may occur due to heat.
 | Do not pull or plug in the plug with wet hand in respect of electric shock
| Keep away from the steam hole to avoid burn.
| Keep it away from the children or others unable to operate.
| Remove the dust on power plug at regular intervals, otherwise, fire accident may occur due to poor insulation.
| Do not touch the hot part, especially the surface of steam jet of ironing head during or after the operation.
| Do use the attached power cord which shall not be used for other eqmpment.
| If not in use, pull the power plugin of the socket to avoid electric shock, creepage and fire Ans mg from damages and insulation ageing.
| Do not put it close to wall or furniture in case the steam leads to color change or distortion of which.
Keep it over 30cm away from the wall and furniture.

How to Use

  1. Unpack the machine and stretch the power cord.

  2. Press both sides of the water tank, then take the tank from the main body, pull the stopper and pour water into tank, but please don’t fill more than the highest water level. ( see picture 1-2 ) Hold the Machine handle, with the other hand install steam brush and fabric brush to iron head. ( see picture 3-6)

  3. Plug in power, and press the power button, the indicator light goes red, wait for about 35s, the red indicator light goes out , the preheating is finished, the machine is ready for use, press the steam switch to use it.
    Note: During the process of using ,if the steam indicator may goes red color again, do not worry, this is caused by the normal operation of temperature  control.

  4. For continues steam output, please slide down the steam lock switch. If you want to stop, please restore the steam lock switch.

  5. When finished using, turn off the power button and pull out the plug, remove the remaining water from the water tank, keep the product cool down then store it in a dry place.

Note: Keep the machine away from the reach of children, specially when it is hot.

Product Maintenance

  1. Purified water is recommended in order to avoid contaminating the textiles.
    The contents of mineral substance differ in various kinds of water, so there would be sediments to respective extents if the ironing machine is applied with water of different qualities, which makes the steam flow lessens, intermits or even stops. Purified water is recommended in order to avoid contaminating the textiles.

  2. To better maintain the machine, the machine, when used for a certain period, may be cleaned or maintained as follows, in which we suggest to take the both steps together:

Cleaning Steps

  1. Turn off the power switch and pull out the plug. After cooling for over an hour you may start cleaning and maintenance.
  2. Please empty the water tank when finish using to avoid the incrustation.
  3. Dry the product with a towel, stored in a dry space.
  4. Please ensure the steam outlet is clean, free of dirty , and there is no obstruction.

If the problems above are still not solved, please contact authorized service personnel and do not dismantle the machine without authorization.

WARRANTY

The “Inalsa Garment Steamer” is fully warranted against any manufacturing defect for a period of One Year from the date of purchase. Should any defect develop in the Garment Steamer during the warranty period, TUAREG MARKETING PVT. LTD. undertakes to get the Garment Steamer or any part thereof, repaired at any of its Authorised Service Center.

The above warranty shall be subject to the following terms and conditions:-

  1. Any defective product or part thereof will be repaired within the above stated wa1Tanty period on receipt of the same with this card duly filled in and stamped by dealer from whom the product was purchased along with the purchase bill/ invoice, provided the product is brought to our nearest service center freight paid and packed securely.

  2. In the event of repairs/ replacement of any part of product, this warranty will thereafter continue and remain in force only for the unexpired period of warranty.

  3. This warranty is valid only when:-
    – The product is purchased from the company’s authorized dealer and accompanied by this warranty card / cash memo.
    – The product has been installed, used and maintained in accordance with the instruction manual.

  4. The warranty does not apply to:-
    – Normal wear and tearofthe product
    – The product has not been serviced by the lnalsa authorized service personnel.
    – Damage due to chipping, peeling, plating and denting.
    – Damages arisiug due to running of the appliances on the alternate sources of power such as
    Inverter, generator or any such auxiliary power supply aid resulting in variation/ fluctuating voltage
    – Breakage or damage to components madle of ABS, SAN, Bakelite, Glass and such
    plastic/rubber parts, cord, bulbs and surface coating.
    – Damages resulting from accidents, mishandlillg or negligence on the part of the customer
    – Product if used for the commercial purposes.
    – Product, the serial number of which has been removed obliterated or altered on the specification plate.

  5. The warranty is in lieu of all other warranty, expressed or implied and does not cover indirect or consequential damages/ loss.
