Batteries

Two 1.5-volt batteries. For best performance, use alkaline manganese batteries (type LR 6, AM 3, MN 1500 or size AA alkaline, e. g. Duracell®). These batteries provide a shaving capacity of approx. 60 minutes. To open the battery cover (6), turn it 90° as shown in (c). Insert batteries with the poles in the direction marked. Before closing the battery compartment, make sure the cover is dry and clean.

Shaving

Turn the twisting protective cap (4) (a) until it clicks in place as shown (b). To switch the shaver on, push the on/off switch (3) up.

Long hair trimmer (M-90 model only)
Use the extendable long hair trimmer (5) for the exact trimming of sideburns and mustaches. To operate, slide the long hair trimmer to the right (e) and turn on the appliance. After use, slide it back until it engages.

Cleaning and maintenance

For optimum shaving performance, clean the shaver after each use:

Cleaning under running water
Turn on the shaver and hold the shaver head under warm running water (f). You may also use liquid soap. Rinse off all foam and let the shaver run for a few more seconds. Then turn it off and remove the shaver foil (1) as shown (g) and let it dry. If you often clean your shaver under running water, put a drop of light machine oil onto the shaver foil.

Cleaning with the brush
Remove the shaver foil (1) and tap it gently against a fl at the surface. Then thoroughly clean the cutter block (2) with the brush (7) as shown in (i). Do not clean the shaver foil with the brush as this may damage it. After cleaning, turn the twisting protective cap (4) 180° to cover the shaving head. In this position, the on/off switch is automatically locked to avoid accidental operation of the shaver (e. g. when traveling). Subject to change without notice. At the end of their life, empty batteries and the appliance should not be thrown away with general waste or Rubbish.

FAQs

Does the shaver have a trimmer?****

Yes, it does.

Can I use the shaver in the shower?****

Yes, you can.

How long does the battery last?****

The battery will last up to 60 minutes of cordless shaving.

How do I clean my shaver?****

You can clean your shaver by rinsing under running water or by using the cleaning brush provided.

What is the best way to dry my shaver?****

You can dry your shaver by using a towel or you can leave it open to air dry.

Do you have to clean an electric razor?****

Properly cleaning your electric razor or safety razor with each use and giving it a deep clean about once a week, depending on how often you shave, will increase the lifespan of your razor as well as the condition of your skin.

How many times can you use an electric razor?****

Electric razors with foils tend to last even longer, and may only need to be changed every 12-18 months if you take good care of the razor, shave with wet hair, and thoroughly clean the razor after every use.

How many times can you use an electric razor?****

Electric razors with foils tend to last even longer, and may only need to be changed every 12-18 months if you take good care of the razor, shave with wet hair, and thoroughly clean the razor after every use.

When should you use an electric razor?****

Electric razors do not require special grooming items such as shaving cream, soap, gels, or even water. They are more versatile in that they can be used to accurately shave facial hair, beards, mustaches, and sideburns. Shaving with an electric razor could reduce nicks, cuts, and ingrown hairs.

How long are electric razors good for?****

It’s recommended by most brands that foil and blades should be changed every 12-18 months to continue the performance of your electric shaver. Some men might have coarser, thicker hair and if they’re shaving daily, they may need to change their foils and blades earlier than the recommended time.

Can two people use the same electric razor?****

You shouldn’t share a razor with someone else due to sanitary concerns. You can get nicked or cut while shaving, and if you use someone else’s razor you are putting yourself at risk for infection — and vice versa. What’s more, you may not know how long someone else’s razor has been used.

Do electric razors need batteries?****

Battery-operated electric razors have been available using rechargeable batteries sealed inside the razor’s case, previously nickel-cadmium or, more recently, nickel-metal hydride. Some modern shavers use Lithium-ion batteries (which do not suffer from the memory effect).
