INSTRUCTIONS FOR
10377008 Pre-Seeded Hybrid Turf Patch
When to plant:
For best results use anytime temperatures in your area are consistently above
50˚F. Fall planting should be completed six to eight weeks prior to
temperatures dropping below 40˚F.
Keys to success:
√ Loosen top 2” of soil where installing DuraGrass then level ground
√ Water the prepared area well the night before installation
√ Water frequently in small amounts (2-3 times/day until grass is 3” tall)
√ Start mowing when grass is 3” tall

PREPARE:
Clear old grass. Loosen the top 2” of soil. Level.
As with planting any type of seed, good preparation of the area is essential.
Don’t lay DuraGrass Pre-Seeded hybrid lawn patch and seed blanket over any
existing grass or vegetation. The seed blanket portion must touch the soil it
is to grow in, so clear all grass and vegetation, loosen the top two inches of
soil with a rake, and create a smooth surface free of any debris.
Tip:
Water the area to be laid well the night before laying, this will help the
seed blanket tack to the surface, then water, until saturated, three (3) times
a day.
PLANT:
Lay DuraGrass Pre-Seeded hybrid lawn patch. Affix with anchors. Water
immediately.
Place DuraGrass Pre-Seeded hybrid lawn patch on prepared area. Cut to shape as
needed. Water immediately to help the seed blanket portion “stick” to the
soil. Align adjacent sections closely together without gaps. Anchor to the
ground with provided biodegradable anchors. Water remainder of installed
DuraGrass Pre-Seeded hybrid lawn patch until saturated.
WATER:
Frequently (2 or 3 times a day). Until saturated each time.
Proper watering is the key to grow grass through DuraGrass. Water your
prepared area well the night before planting. Once planted, water frequently
with sprinkler or gentle shower hose nozzle. The seed blanket portion of
DuraGrass Pre-Seeded hybrid lawn patch locks in moisture, so watering
frequently in small amounts is best. Ideally water 2 or 3 times a day until
saturated each time, keeping the seed blanket constantly wet for the first
three weeks, or until new grass reaches 3” tall. Begin mowing grass once it
gets 3” tall.
You can mow directly over DuraGrass.
CUT & SHAPE:
DuraGrass can be cut with scissors to fit your problem areas.
Under the seed laws of several states, arbitration, mediation or conciliation
is required as a pre-requisite to maintaining legal action based upon failure
of seed to which this notice is attached to produce as represented. The
consumer shall file a complaint (sworn for AR, FL, IN, GA, MS, SC, TX, WA:
signed only CA, ID, ND, SD) along with the required filing fee (where
applicable) with the commissioner/director/secretary of agriculture/seed
commissioner/chief agricultural officer within such time as to permit
inspection of the crops, plants or trees by the designated agency and the seed
men from whom the seed was purchased. A copy of the complaint shall be sent to
the seller by certified or registered mail, or as otherwise provided by state
statute.

Do not apply near water, storm drains, or drainage ditches.
