Safety Instructions
Read the following instructions before use to ensure your safety. Improper use may cause fire, property damage, or personal injuries.
Instructions for use:
- FJ Dynamics is not liable for any consequences caused by failure to follow the instructions, including but not limited to charging with other bib-FJD charging cables.
- Do not place the product near a fire source. Avoid the product from direct sunlight.
- Do not charge, use, or store the product in a bathroom or in the rain or wet areas.
- Do not put the product in water. Water intrusion into the product may cause chemical reactions to the battery, resulting in fire or explosion. Do not use swollen, leaking, or damaged batteries. If your battery is abnormal, contact our technical support staff.
- Do not use the battery around strong electrostatic or electromagnetic fields. Otherwise, the battery control board may malfunction during use, causing serious accidents.
- Do not disassemble or puncture the product in any way, as it may cause leakage, fire, or explosion.
- Avoid collision. Do not use the product if a serious collision occurs with it.
- If the product falls into water during use, take it out immediately, put it in a safe area, and keep it in a safe and closed space until it dries out completely. Do not use it again, and dispose of it properly according to the “Disposal and recycling” section below.
- If the product catches fire, it is recommended to use the fire extinguishers in the following order: water or water mist, sand, fire blanket, dry powder, and carbon dioxide fire extinguisher.
- Do not insert pins, wires, or other metal objects into the housing, sockets, or control board of the product, as they may cause a short circuit.
- Do not place heavy objects on the product.
- Use and store the product in a clean and dry environment. If the surface of the plug or outlet is dirty, clean it with dry cloth. Otherwise, it may cause poor contact, energy loss, or charging failure.
- Do not put the product in a microwave oven or pressurized container.
- Do not insert your fingers into the xt60 interface, and do not touch the interface with wet fingers.
Precautions for Charging
- Charge the product with a FJD certificated power supply.
- When using solar panels for charging, the open circuit voltage should not exceed 55 V.
- The product must be charged with the original charging cables according to the specifications. FJ Dynamics is not liable for any damage caused by charging with third-party charging cables.
- During charging, do not place the product near flammable or combustible materials or leave the product unattended.
- Do not charge the product immediately after a longtime heavy load discharge, because the temperature of the product may be too high. Wait until it cools down to room temperature.
- The product must be charged at an ambient temperature of 0-40°C (32-104°F).
Storage and Transportation
- Keep the product out of children’s reach. If a child accidentally swallows certain parts, seek medical attention immediately.
- If a warning of low battery power appears, charge the battery before storage.
- Store the product in a dry environment and avoid contact with water.
- Ensure that no small metal objects fall on or around the product in storage.
- The battery power cannot be higher than 30% when it is transported by air.
Maintenance
- Do not store the product in an environment below -15°C or above 45°C.
- Longtime storage may shorten the battery service life.
- Fully charge and discharge the battery at least once every 3 months to preserve the service life.
