These instructions are for your safety. Please read through them thoroughly before use and retain them for future reference.

Things to check before you start

For domestic use only.
Never allow children or persons unable to operate the appliance safely, to use this appliance without supervision.
Please dispose of plastic bags carefully and keep them away from children.

This appliance must only be used in the correct upright position. If it has been in any position {for example, during transportation or assembly), it must be placed in the correct upright position for at least 4 hours before use.

This product comes fully assembled, before using please ensure that all components and fixings are secure, and make sure the appliance is in perfect condition before operation.

Preparation before use

Open the carton box and remove the appliance Connect the appliance to the mains power outlet after removing all the protective packaging. Make sure that the voltage is identical to the one on the rating label.

Continuous drainage
To avoid having to periodically empty the water tank, this unit can be config­ured for continuous drainage. You need to follow the different steps below:

The controls

The dehumidifier can be operated by the control panel located at the top of the appliance:

  1. Button for programming the humidity level Push the button to adjust the humidity level (40%, 50%, 60%, or Non­stop). If the humidity level of the room is higher than the programmed level, the appliance will start to work automatically. Until the humidity level is reached, the appliance stops automatically.

  2. Water tank full lamp:
    The lamp lights on when the water tank is full.

  3. Defrost lamp
    This lamp will light on if the temperature of the room is below 12° C, defrost function will be activated to avoid the surface of the appliance accumulating frost.
    Nevertheless, we recommend you do not use the appliance if the temperature is below 5°C

  4. Power control
    Press this button once to power on the appliance. Press again a second time to place the appliance in standby mode.

CAUTION – Fire, electric shock, physical injury, and material damage hazards: To use this appliance, always follow the instructions for assembly, use, and maintenance as well as usage cautions:

  1.  Carefully read and retain these instructions.
  2.  Before connecting the appliance, be sure that the mains voltage available matches that stipulated on the unit’s rating plate.
  3.  Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter the unit via the air outlet or filter as this may cause damage to the appliance.
  4.  Adults should pay special attention when using this appliance close to children.
  5.  We do not recommend exposing persons (especially children or the elderly) to a continuous flow of cold air during prolonged periods.
  6.  Do not use this product in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or a swimming pool.
  7.  Never leave this appliance close to curtains, drapes, plants, etc.
  8.  Be sure to avoid using it in locations (e.g. the kitchen) where hot oil may splash onto plastic parts. Contact with oil always causes damage and deterioration.
  9.  This appliance must be placed on a smooth floor and the power cord must not pass close to heating appliances.
  10.  For domestic indoor use only.
  11. Never dip the appliance into water or any other liquid.
  12.  Unplug or disconnect the appliance from the mains power supply when not in use and before cleaning it.
  13.  Store the appliance in a clean, dry location if you do not plan to use it for an extended length of time.
  14.  If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons to avoid a hazard.
  15. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
  16.  Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

CAUTION -if using an extension lead please ensure you do not exceed the maximum rated operating wattage/load of the extension lead.
