Thank you for purchasing the Personal MP3/CD Player with Speakers &
Bluetooth Transmitter.
Please ensure that you have received all the parts and that no parts are
missing or have been damaged during shipment. If in doubt, do not use the CD
Player and contact the service department immediately.
To ensure that you get many years of enjoyment from this product, please read
the following instructions carefully, and keep in a safe place for future
reference.

Before using the CD Player for the first time, please read these instructions carefully.

The CD Player is intended for indoor, domestic use only.
It should not be used for commercial applications. -
This appliance contains no user serviceable parts. All repairs must be carried out by a qualified person.
Incorrect repairs may place the user at risk of harm, and will invalidate any guarantee. -
Do not operate this appliance after it has malfunctioned, or if it has been dropped or damaged in any way.

Do not expose to dripping or splashing.

Never place any heavy objects, or any containers filled with liquid on top of the Personal CD Player.

Do not leave the CD Player near heat sources, or in direct sunlight, or anywhere that is excessively dusty, sandy or humid.

Do not insert any foreign objects into any of the outlets tlets on the Personal CD Player.

The Personal CD Playeris not a toy. It must not be used by children less than eight years of age.

The Personal CD Player must not be used by anyone with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities,unless they have been given supervision or instruction on how
to use it safely.

How to Operate your MP3/CD Player
Powering your CD Player
The MP3/CD Player is powered with either two AA (UM‐3) batteries or an AC
adaptor. Please note: Both the batteries or AC adaptor are not supplied as
standard.
Using batteries (NOT SUPPLIED)
- Open the battery compartment (3) on the back of the unit by sliding open and gently pulling upwards the battery door.
- Check the polarity (+/‐) inside the battery compartment.
- Insert two AA (UM‐3) batteries according to the polarity.
- Re‐close the battery door.
- Tap the POWER ON/OFF button (1)
For best performance and extended operating time, we recommend using alkaline batteries.
IMPORTANT!
- Please always ensure batteries are correctly installed. Incorrect polarity can damage your CD Player.
- Never mix old and new batteries.
- Never mix alkaline, standard (carbon‐zinc) and rechargeable (nickel‐cadmium) batteries.
- If you are not planning to use your MP3/CD Player for an extended period of time, always remove the batteries. Old or leaking batteries can cause damage to the unit and may void the warranty.
- Never dispose of batteries in a fire ‐ batteries can leak or explode.
Using an AC adaptor (NOT SUPPLIED AS STANDARD) – 4.5v DC 800Ma – Regulated Adaptor Only
- Insert the DC plug (at the end of the AC adaptor cord) into the DC input jack (2)
- Plug the AC adaptor into a 220/230V~ 50Hz AC power socket.
- The unit will automatically disconnect from using battery power and operate using the AC adaptor.
- Tap the POWER ON/OFF button (1)
IMPORTANT!
- Only use an adaptor with an output voltage rated as DC 4.5V 650mA, with a centre negative plug.
IMPORTANT!
- If there is no CD inside the unit, “NoCd” will appear on the LCD display (15).
Playing a CD or MP3‐CD
- Gently slide the OPEN switch(6) to open the CD Door.
- Load the CD or MP3‐CD into unit, label side up.
- Gently close the CD Door.
- The ESP (Anti Shock Function) will be automatically activated. You can see “ESP” showing on the LCD display (16)
- The unit will automatically read the CD or MP3‐CD. (For CD, the total track number & elapsed time will show on the LCD display) (For MP3‐ CD, the total folder & total track number will show on the LCD display)
- Tap the PLAY button (4) to play the 1 st track on the CD or MP3‐CD.
- If you want to listen privately, connect your earphones to the Earphones jack (8)
- Adjust the volume by turning the VOLUME knob (7) to your preferred sound level.
- Tap the PAUSE button (5) to pause the playback anytime you want.
- Tap the PAUSE button (5) again to resume playback.
- Tap the SKIP/SEARCH FORWARD button (10) to skip forward to thedesired track.
- Tap the SKIP/SEARCH BACKWARD button (11) to skip forward to thedesired track.
- Tap the STOPbutton (9) at any time to stop playback
- Tap& hold the POWER ON/OFF button (1) to turn off the unit.
IMPORTANT!
- If you cannot hear any sound but the disc is playing, please check the VOLUME knob (7) is turned up or that the BT ON/OFF switch (14) is set to the OFF position.
Playinga CD or MP3‐CD in a programmed order
- Programming can only be done while the unit is at STOP condition.
- Tap the PROG button (13)“MEM”& “P01” &“00” will show on the LCD display (15). (For MP3‐CD, “000” will show on the LCD display)
- Tap the two SKIP/SEARCH buttons(10,11) to select the track you wish to program.
- Tap the PROG button (13) to save the selected track to the “P01” position.
- Then “P02” & “00” will show on the LCD display (15).
- Repeat steps 3 & 4 to storeother tracks in the order they are programmed.
- You can store up to 20 tracks for CD & 99 tracks for MP3‐CD.
- Tap the PLAY button (4) to begin playing the programmed tracks.
Other playing modes
- Tap the MODE button (12) once, “REP 1” will appear on the LCD display (15), the unit will repeat playing the current track continuously.
- Tap the MODE button (12) once again, “REPDIR” will appear on the LCD display (15), the unit will repeat playing the current folder continuously.(For MP3‐CD on ly)
- Tap the MODE button (12) once again, “REP ALL” will appear on the LCD display (15), the unit will repeat playing the whole CD or MP3‐ CD continuously.
- Tap the MODE button (12) once again, “INTRO”will appear on the LCD display (15), the unit will play the begin ning
- seconds of every track on the CD or MP3‐CD.
- Tap the MODE button (12) once again, “RAND” will appear on the LCD display (15), the unit will play all the tracks on the CD or MP3‐ CDrandomly.
- Tap the MODE button (12) once again, the un it will resume normal playback.
Using the Bluetooth Transmitter
- Power on your Bluetooth Speakers or Bluetooth Headphones.
- During playback, slide the BT ON/OFF switch (14) to ON position, the BT LED indicator (16)will be flashing
- The connecting process can take up to 10 seconds.
- You will hear the “ringing” sound when the connecting process is completed, the BT LED Indicator (16) will light on.
- You can now listen to the music by using your Bluetooth Speakers orBluetooth Headphones.
WARNING!
- Please do not use earphones while driving, cycling or operating any motorised vehicle.
- Do not play your earphones at high volume while walking, especially when crossing roads as this can be dangerous.
- Avoid using earphones at high volume. Hearing experts advise against continuous, loud and extended play. If you experience a ringing in your ears, reduce volume or discontinue use.
- Always keep volume at a moderate level so you are able to hear outside sounds and take those around you into consideration.
- Keep clean using a soft cloth.
- Never immerse in water.
Care & Maintenance
- Clean with a soft, damp cloth slightly moistened with water or a mild detergent.
- Do not use any chemical cleaners such as alcohol, benzine or thinners.
- Never leave the CD Player in direct sunlight or in hot, humid or dusty places.
- Keep the MP3/CD Player away from heating appliances and sources of electrical noise such as fluorescent lamps and motors.
The crossed‐out Wheelie Bin logo is used to highlight electrical products that should not be disposed of with normal household waste.
