Product Layout

Battery Assembly

1. The transmitter cover can be removed using a small flat-bladed screwdriver.

2. Close the back cover after inserting the DC 3V, CR2032 battery after opening the lid.

Install Batteries

Insert the 3×AAA batteries(not included) into the battery jar of the receiver or insert the micro USB with 5V/200mAh current into a micro USB port (the Micro USB cable and the adapter are not included). Turn on the receiver, there will be a warning tone “Ding-Dong”.

Music Selection

Press the “Music” button to choose a favorite chime. Press the “Music” button each time, it would play the next chime for your selection. Once choose a chime, stop pressing the “Music” button.

Volume Adjustment

There is a 4-level volume for TeckNet WA628. Press the “Volume” button to increase the volume. If the volume reaches maximum volume, press the “Volume” button would turn to minimum volume.

Pairing Method

Select a favorite chime tone first. Turn on the receiver, and press the “Music” and “Volume” button simultaneously, the LED light will turn on which means it enters pairing mode. Press the button of the transmitter, and the LED of the receiver will flash one time and stay on for about 20 seconds, now the paring is successful. Press the “Volume” button or just wait for about 20 seconds(until the LED turns off) to exit pairing mode.

Delete Pairing

Turn on the receiver, press the “Music” and “Volume” buttons simultaneously, then the LED light of the receiver would turn on, then release the “Music” button and hold the “Volume” button for 3 seconds until the LED light turns off. Then all the pairing would be deleted.

LED Lighting

Press the “M” button for 3 seconds to activate the LED light. The LED light would last for 2 minutes. Press the “M” button again, the LED light would turn off.

Receiver & Transmitter Installation

• Method 1: Adhesive Tape for the receiver or transmitter
  Apply the double-sided adhesive tape on the back of the receiver or transmitter case. Remove the outer side of tape and attach the receiver or transmitter on the position you need and press for 30 seconds vigorously. Note: Do not assemble the stand for the receiver, otherwise it would impede pasting.

• Method 2: Screw for the receiver
  There is a screw hole in the rear of the receiver. Firstly tighten a screw on the position you need, obligate about 2mm to hang on the receiver, then simply put the receiver on the screw, then installation of the receiver is complete.

• Method 3: Assemble the stand for the receiver
  Assemble the included stand on the rear slot of the receiver, then you can put the receiver in the position you need.
  Note: It’s advised to complete the music selection and pairing before installing the receiver and transmitter and make sure that the doorbell works properly.

Maintenance

1. Ideally, use high-quality alkaline batteries. This will last longer and reduce the chance of electrolyte leakage.
2. In order to protect the precision internal electronic components, it’s advisable that unqualified users should not attempt to open the unit for maintenance.
3. Do not expose to continuous direct sunlight or a humid environment. this will adversely affect the unit.
4. Proper usage would extend the lifetime of the product.
