HUMANCARE Roomer S Portable Ceiling Hoist
Product Information
The overhead lift is designed for indoor use and can accommodate one patient
at a time. It has a secondary panel, lift belts, direction levers, hanger bar,
emergency stop, and hand control with IPX7 rating. The secondary panel has a
status indicator light, power on/off button, raise and lower lift buttons,
emergency lowering button, and function warning lights. The hand control has
up and down buttons, and a USB-C port for charging. The lift must be charged
every night using a Human Care charger and should not be immersed in water. It
has a room-to-room transfer feature activated by turning the directional lever
and connecting the desired belt. Emergency stop and emergency deactivation
buttons are available, and the lift can be suspended on a suitable surface by
feeding out the belt and hooking it onto the distance strap.
Product Usage Instructions
- Read all instructions before use.
- Charge the lift every night using a Human Care charger connected to an earthed socket. The lift cannot be charged if the emergency stop button is activated.
- Do not immerse the lift in water or use strong detergents.
- To use the room-to-room transfer feature, turn the directional lever to activate the desired belt connected to its respective rail roller. The lever should always point to the connected belt.
- In case of emergency, press down on the red emergency stop button to activate and turn it clockwise to deactivate. Emergency lowering can be activated by pressing both the Down button on the hand control and the secondary panel emergency lowering button simultaneously. There is a 3-second delay before the lowering begins.
- To suspend the lift, place it on a suitable surface, feed out the belt while pressing the Down button on the hand control or secondary panel, and hook the lift belt onto the distance strap while ensuring it is firmly in place before use.
- To use the sling, attach the head sling loops to the carry bar first and then secure the leg straps to the leg hooks. Ensure that the straps are secured beneath the safety pin.
- Do not use the telescoping bar to move the patient and lift, nor hold onto the hooks while performing a lift. Instead, once the patient is comfortably secured in the sling, raise the lift and hold the sling to position or move the patient.
