Powering up the transmitter -Connect the transmitter to your TV’s USB port or any other power source that supports 5V/500mA-2A USB wall adapter not included via the provided type-C cable.

Using an adapter with too hi age may damage the transmitter.

Slide the Mode switch into the TX position Default, the TX LED will be lit and A LED on transmitter blinks ORANGE & WHITE alternately automatic pairing8. Turn on the headphones-Press for 3s until the LED blinks RED &BLUE alternately pairing 4. Wait for a few seconds until transmitter and headphones will automatically connect, you will hear Connected from them. The A LED on transmitter will be SOLID WHITE.

If your TV has Optical Out

Please use the Optical cable to connect the transmitter and TV. Make sure the cable on transmitter is in TX INPUT. Ensure the OPT LED on transmitter is lit. If not, please press i once. Ensure your TV’s Sound Out/Speaker setting is set to External Speaker or Optical audio out. Set your TV’s Audio Format/Digital Sound Out setting to PCM or set the Dolby/DTS Digital setting to OFF Some TVs will automatically change the Settings after connected to the transmitter. If yes, just ignore this step. The OPT LED on the transmitter will change to SOLID WHITE when playing TV audio. Now you can stream audio from your V.

If your TV has Red/White Audio Out RCA-only for TV

  1. Please use the AUX cable &3.5mm to RCA Audio Cable to connect the transmitter and TV. Make sure the cable on transmitter is in TX INPUT.
  2. Ensure the AUX LED on transmitter is on. If not, please press once.
  3. The AUX LED on the transmitter will change to SOLID WHITE when playing TV audio. Now you can stream audio from your TV.

17When you use the AV Receiver function. Make sure that the AUX LED is on; if not, short press once to select AUX audio. The AUX LED should stay SOLID WHITE when streaming audio. NOTE: Please do NOT use the RCA ports on the back of your AV receiver. They will not work and may permanently damage the transmitter ONLY use the BIG 6.35MM PHONE OUT located in the FRONT of your AV Receiver with the 6.35mm to 3.5mm adapter not included. Do NOT set the volume on the AV Receiver too high. You may test the port with wired headphones before using.

If your TV is connected to a sound system(eg. external sound bar, AV receiver, external speaker, our unique Bypass feature allows you to connect the HFF86 to both the TV and its sound system at the same time. Even if the transmitter turns off, the Bypass feature will still work. Please make sure that you use the same type of input/output, e.g If you are using an OPTICAL cable with your TV, please use an OPTICAL cable to connect the HFF86 to your sound system. If you are using an AUX/RCA cable with your TV, please use an AUX/RCA cable to connect the HFF86 to your sound system.

Add 2 pair of Bluetooth headphones

  1. Turn on HFF86 transmitter and headphones set, slide the Mode switch into the TX position (Default) x C the A LED on transmitter will light up and become SOLID WHITE.
  2. Hold B LED for 2 seconds until it starts flashing ORANGE & WHITE alternately.
  3. Enter your 2 set of headphones into Bluetooth PAIRING MODEL.
  4. Typically, the LED will either flash quickly or two colors of LED will flash alternately.
  5. Keep the device close to each other and wait.
  6. Once connected, Both A and B LEDS on the transmitter will be lit.

Section 2 Using as Bluetooth Receiver (RX mode)

  1. Slide the Mode switch into the RX position the RX LED will be lit.
  2. Connect with Speaker/ Sound bar With AUX/3.5mm headphones cable.
  3. Pair the HFF86 with your Bluetooth enabled phone/pc/tablet.
  4. The HFF86 should enter pairing mode automatically.
  5. A LED will altemately flash ORANGE and WHITE.
  6. Turn on Bluetooth on your phone or other device and search for HFF86 tap to connect. Keep them close together and wait.
  7. Once connected, the A LED will light up.

Add 2nd pair of Bluetooth-enabled phone/pc/tablet

  1. Turn on HFF86 Receiver and headphones set, slide the Mode switch into the RX position the A LED on receiver will light up and become SOLID WHITE.
  2. Hold B LED for 2 seconds until it starts flashing ORANGE & WHITE alternately.
  3. Enter your 2 set of Bluetooth-enabled phone into Bluetooth PAIRING MODE.
  4. Typically the LED will either flash quickly or two colors of LED will flash alternately.
  5. Keep the device close to each other and wait.
  6. Once connected, Both A and B LEDs on the receiver will be lit.

Charging the headphone

  1. Please charge the headphone if you hear please charge the headphones. The RED LED will flash 3 times every 5 second.
  2. You can charge using a phone charger(5V/1-2A output), PC USB port, TV USB port or any other USB outlet using included USB cable.
  3. It takes about 2 hours to fully charge the headphones. The LED will turn RED while charging and turn off once charging is complete.

NOTE
Plus using a charger within 5V/1-2A output. Using an adapter with too high voltage may damage the transmitter.

Troubleshooting

No sound

Audio input not valid Most common. Short press once to select the correct mode on the HFF86- OPT for optical and AUX for AUX/RCA. Make sure that the TV setting is correct, refer to the section above titled Connected the Transmitter to your TV or other audio source. HFF86 transmitter and headphone disconnect/ fail to connect. Press the M button 3 times to disconnect the current connection in headphone, the LED blinks RED&BLUE alternately when it’s pairing. Short press reset button or unplug the power on the transmitter. Short distance between earphone and transmitter .The transmitter antenna should be placed vertically. No response to keys on the transmitter -The button function of the transmitter is locked, double-click the child lock button all functions will return to normal No voice prompt from the transmitter.

Check if the adapter and the charging cable are in contact.

  • Check if the output voltage of the adapter is DC5V Not working/Not recommended 1
  • For optical output-Set your TV’s Audio Format/Digital Sound Out to PCM or Stereo or set the Dolby/DTS Digital to OFF 1
  • Not compatible with the RCA outputs on the back of the AV receiver/amplifier 1.3 Volume +/-will not work if your device e.g. hearing aids does not support audio/video remote control profiles.
  • Cannot work as transmitter and receiver at the same time.
  • Dual link works best with headphones, and it is not recommended to use with TWS.
  • Depend on the TV, the TV speakers may be muted when you plug the transmitter into its audio output jack.
  • Add second paired of Bluetooth device the second earphone/speaker is mainly used for music.
  • Whether it can watch TV or not depends on whether the second device has low latency function for watching TV.

Not working/Not recommended

For optical output-Set your TV’s Audio Format/Digital Sound Out to PCM or Stereo or set the Dolby/DTS Digital to OFF 1. Not compatible with the RCA outputs on the back of the AV receiver/amplifier. Volume +/- will not work if your device e.g. hearing aids does not support audio/video remote control profiles 14 Cannot work as transmitter and receiver at the same time. Dual- link works best with headphones, and it is not recommended to use with TWS. Depend on the TV, the TV speakers may be muted when you plug the transmitter into its audio output jack. 1.7 Add second paired of Bluetooth device the second earphone/speaker is mainly used for music. Whether it can watch TV or not depends on whether the second device has low latency function for watching TV.

  • Please keep or use the headphone in normal temperature, avoid direct sunlight.
  • Please keep the headphone away from fire or other hot object.
  • Please keep the headphone away from damp place or submerged in liquid, keep it dry.
  • Please don’t try to use other methods of charging other than the USB charging cable we provide.
  • Please don’t disassemble, repair or modify.
  • Please pay attention to excessive drops, scratches or other behaviors that affect the function of the headset.
  • If any damage, such as dents, deformation, or corrosion etc.
  • Please stop using the headset and contact the merchant you purchased or via sointone@outlook.com for support.
  • If the  Headphones produce abnormal smell, higher than normal temperature, abnormal changes in color or shape, please stop using the earphones immediately, and contact the merchant you purchased or via sointone@outlook.com for support.
