ResMed Air10 SD Card Data Transmitter
Important: Use only secure communication channels (e.g. MyChart) to send and receive patient data.
For patients
- Establish secure patient communication portal
- Remove SD card from the device
- Insert SD card into SD card reader
- Click on the Attach Files icon
- Locate the SD card drive from the list on the left-hand side (may be named “RESMED”)
- Select:
- SETTINGS folder
- Identification.crc
- Identification.tgt
- STR.edf
- Identification.json (Air11 only)
- journal.jnl (Air11 only)
- Right-click the selection and choose
- Send To > Compressed (Zipped) Folder
- You may rename or accept the default file name
- Select the compressed zip file (e.g. TestPatient.zip)
- Attach compressed file and send secure message to the provider communication portal.
For providers HME/PHYSICIAN
Important: Before downloading the data onto the SD card, ensure that the SD card is blank.
- Insert blank SD card into SD card reader
- Open secure patient communication portal
- Open patient message with attachment with patient’s data
- Select the attached file, click on Save As and save file to the SD card from the list on the left-hand side
- Right-click the compressed file and choose Extract All
- Select your SD card drive as the Destination Folder
- Remove any default folder information and only use the drive (e.g. E:\)
- Open AirView™ or ResScan™ and download card data as normal.
It is preferable for patients to make an appointment with their provider to have their data securely downloaded from their SD card.
