Dear Customer,
Thank you for purchasing this Hendi appliance. Read this manual carefully,
paying particular attention to the safety regulations outlined below, before
installing and using this appliance for the first time.
Safety regulations
- This appliance is intended for commercial use only.
- Only use the appliance for the intended purpose it was designed for as described in this manual.
- The manufacturer is not liable for any damage caused by incorrect operation and improper use.
- Keep the appliance and electrical plug away from water and other liquids. In the event the appliance falls into water, immediately remove the power plug from the socket. Do not use the appliance until it has been checked by a certified technician. Failure to follow these instructions will cause life threatening risks.
- Never attempt to open the housing of the appliance by yourself.
- Do not insert objects into the housing of the appliance.
- Do not touch the plug with wet or damp hands.
- DANGER OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! Do not attempt to repair the appliance by yourself, repairs are only to be conducted by qualified personnel.
- Never use a damaged appliance! When it’s damaged, disconnect the appliance from the socket and contact the retailer.
- WARNING! Do not immerse the electrical parts of the appliance in water or other liquids.
- Never hold the appliance under running water.
- Regularly check the power plug and cord for any damage. When damaged it must be replaced by a service agent or similarly qualified person in order to avoid danger or injury.
- Make sure the cord does not come in contact with sharp or hot objects and keep it away from open fire. Never pull the power cord to unplug it from the socket, always pull the plug instead.
- Make sure that the power cord and/or extension cord do not cause a trip hazard.
- Never leave the appliance unattended during use.
- WARNING! As long as the plug is in the socket the appliance is connected to the power source.
- Turn off the appliance before unplugging it from the socket.
- Connect the power plug to an easily accessible electrical socket so that in case of emergency the appliance can be unplugged immediately.
- Never carry the appliance by the cord.
- Do not use any extra devices that are not supplied together with the appliance.
- Only connect the appliance to an electrical outlet with the voltage and frequency mentioned on the appliance label.
- Never use accessories other than those recommended by the manufacturer. Failure to do so could pose a safety risk to the user and could damage the appliance. Only use original parts and accessories.
- This appliance should not be operated by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or persons that have a lack of experience and knowledge.
- This appliance should, under any circumstances, not be used by children.
- Keep the appliance and its power cord out of reach of children.
- WARNING: ALWAYS switch off the appliance and unplug from power socket before cleaning, maintenance or storage.

This appliance should be operated by trained personnel.

CAUTION! DANGER OF BURNS! The temperature of the heating surface and other accessible surface is very high during use. Touch the control panel only.

CAUTION! This appliance will emit non-ionizing electromagnetic radiation.

An equipotential bonding terminal is provided at the rear side of the appliance to allow cross bonding with other equipment.

Do not place the appliance near objects that may be affected by a magnetic field TVs, radios, bank cards and credit cards.

Do not place the appliance on a heating object (gas, electric, charcoal cooker, etc.) Keep the appliance away from any hot surfaces and open flames. Always operate the appliance on a level, stable, clean, heat-resistant and dry surface.

Make sure the appliance is not placed near water vapour or greasy vapours. The fan inside of the appliance will take in these vapours and this will cause
grease or moisture to accumulate in the appliance which may result in a short- circuit in the appliance. -
This appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.

Metallic objects such as knives, forks, spoons and lids should not be placed on the heating plate since they can get hot.

WARNING: Keep all ventilation openings in the appliance clear of obstruction.

WARNING: If the heating surface is cracked or damaged, switch off the appliance to avoid the possibility of electric shock.

Allow at least 20 cm spacing around the appliance for ventilation purpose during use.

Do not use hard utensils to hit the heating plate surface. Do not use water jet, flush directly with water or steam cleaner as the parts will get wet and electric shock might be resulted.

Take care when operating the appliance, as rings, watches and similar objects worn by the user could get hot when in close proximity to the heating surface.

CAUTION! Securely route the power cord if necessary in order to prevent unintentional pulling or contact with the heating surface.

Do not wash the appliance with water. Washing can cause leakages and increase the risk of electric shock.

Do not clean or store the appliance unless it is completely cooled down.

Do not place empty cookware on the appliance during operation as this may damage the cookware.

Only use the cookware of the type and size recommended. (See —> Suitable cooking equipment).

The power supply lines should be connected to the electrical power supply system by authorized technician.
Intended use
- This appliance is intended for professional use.
- The appliance is designed only for cooking a variety of food via heating the suitable cookware. Any other use may lead to damage to the appliance or personal injury.
- Operating the appliance for any other purpose shall be deemed as a misuse of the device. The user shall be solely liable for improper use of the device.
Grounding installation
This appliance is classified as protection class I and must be connected to a
protective ground. Grounding reduces the risk of electric shock by providing
an escape wire for the electric current.
This appliance is fitted with a power cord that has a grounding wire and
grounded plug. The plug must be plugged into an outlet that is properly
installed and grounded.

Preparations before using for the first time

Remove all protective packaging and wrapping.

Keep the packaging if you intend to store your appliance in the future.

Check to make sure the appliance is undamaged.
In case of incomplete delivery and damages. Please contact supplier (See –> Warranty). -
Clean the appliance before use (See –> Cleaning and Maintenance).

Make sure the appliance is completely dry.
-
Place the appliance on a horizontal, stable and heat resist surface that is safe against water splashes.
-
Ensure that there is sufficient ventilation. Keep a minimum distance of 20 cm around the appliance.
-
Do not place the appliance in close proximity to devices which are sensitive to disturbances by magnetic sources (e.g. radios, tape decks).
Note: Due to manufacturing residues, the appliance may emit a slight odor
in the first few cycles. This is normal and does not indicate any defect or
hazard.
Make sure the appliance is well ventilated.

Note: Using a pan or pot that’s not suitable for induction cooking may damage the appliance.
Power supply line connection
Attention: The power supply lines should be connected by authorized technician.
Operation

Place a suitable cookware at the center of the heating surface of the appliance. (See -> Suitable cooking equipment)
Note: Do not place empty cookware as this may damage the cookware. -
Connect the internal wires of the power cord to a suitable electrical supply outlet. (See –> Power supply line connection)

Operation light stays off when the line indicator of the knob and“0” the panel are aligned. Power level from 1-11 can be adjusted by turning clockwise and the green light on.

The appliance will shut down automatically if there is no operation detected after 4 hours.
-
Overheat protection is included for the appliance. The heating function will be terminated if the temperature of the pot or plate is too high, or the display light will flash. In this case, turn the knob anti-clockwise to “0” on the panel and wait for several minutes to cool down. The appliance will resume to normal operation again.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Attention: Always disconnect the appliance from the electrical power source and let it cool down completely before cleaning and storage.
Cleaning
- Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
- Clean the cooled exterior surface with a slightly damp cloth or sponge with some mild soap solution.
Storage
- Before storage, always make sure the appliance has already been disconnected from the electrical outlet and cooled down completely.
- Never use abrasive sponges or detergents, steel wool or metallic utensils to clean the interior or exterior parts of the appliance.
- Store the appliance in a cool, clean and dry place.
- Never put heavy objects on the heating surface during storage as it may crack it.
Troubleshooting
If the appliance does not function properly, please check the below table for the solution. If you are still unable to solve the problem, please contact the service provider.

utensil on the stove top or using an inappropriate cooking utensil.| Place or
replace a suitable pan with a flatted bottomed on the plate.
The red LED flashes twice and switch off for 2 seconds| – The device heats up
extensively. – Parts are damaged| – Clear the ventilation slots and let the
device cool off for several minutes. If the error code has shown when the
appliance is in cooling condition, contact the supplier.
– Contact the supplier.
The red LED flashes three times and switch off for 2 seconds| Stove-top
overheat| Make sure water is inside the pan.
The red LED flashes four times and switch off for 2 seconds| Voltage under-
loaded/ over-loaded| Make sure the voltage and frequency comply with the
rating label shown on the product.

Warranty
Any defect affecting the functionality of the appliance which becomes apparent
within one year after purchase will be repaired by free repair or replacement
provided the appliance has been used and maintained in accordance with the
instructions and has not been abused or misused in any way. Your statutory
rights are not affected. If the appliance is claimed under warranty, state
where and when it was purchased and include proof of purchase (e.g. receipt).
In line with our policy of continuous product development we reserve the right
to change the product, packaging and documentation specifications without
notice.
Discarding & Environment
When decommissioning the appliance, the product must not be disposed of with other household waste. Instead, it is your responsibility to dispose to your waste equipment by handing it over to a designated collection point. Failure to follow this rule may be penalized in accordance with applicable regulations on waste disposal. The separate collection and recycling of your waste equipment at the time of disposal will help conserve natural resources and ensure that it is recycled in a manner that protects human health and the environment. For more information about where you can drop off your waste for recycling, please contact your local waste collection company. The manufacturers and importers do not take responsibility for recycling, treatment and ecological disposal, either directly or through a public system.
