ABOUT THE UNIT

Purify your home with the Lenoxx Electric-Thermo Peltier Dehumidifier that allows the removal of moisture quickly from the air keeping you, your friends, and your family cool and comfortable.
You can relax while the Dehumidifier with the new Peltier technology works silently in the background. The new technology allows it not to have a compressor, yet it is equally effective. It is light and easy to move around. This dehumidifier can remove up to 300ml of water per day with a 900ml water tank capacity. Perfect for up to 15 square meters in your living space. It is small and compact and unobtrusive.
When the water tank reaches max capacity, the dehumidifier will automatically shut off and the LED light will flash red, indicating that the water tank is full and needs to be drained. The unit is very user friendly, easy to use and easy to maintain.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

  1. Read instructions carefully before use.
  2. Remove and safely dispose any packaging material and labels before using this product for the first time. Ensure children and babies do not play with plastic bags or any packaging materials.
  3. If the filter is covered by a plastic bag when shipped, remove the plastic bag before use.
  4. Before use, check that your local voltage corresponds with the specifications shown on the appliance nameplate or rating label.
  5. Always operate the appliance on a horizontal surface which is level, stable and non-combustible. Never place on soft surfaces such as a bed or sofa as this could cause the unit to tip over and block the air inlet or outlet vents. Always keep the unit at an up-right position to avoid water leakage.
  6. Do not place the appliance on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
  7. Never connect this appliance to an external timer or separate remote-control system.
  8. Never use this appliance with an extension cord or power board. Ensure it is plugged into a dedicated power point and without any other appliances on the same outlet.
  9. Do not turn on the power until the appliance and parts are in place as required.
  10. To protect against electric shock, do not immerse the cord, plug, or appliance in water or any other liquid. Do not expose the appliance to dripping or splashing water or liquids and ensure that no objects filled with liquids such as vases are placed on the appliance. Do not rinse it under the tap. Do not put any water or other liquid into the main housing of the appliance through the vents.
  11. Do not touch the appliance, power cord or power plug with wet hands.
  12. Unplug from the outlet when not in use and before cleaning or moving the unit, opening the base, changing the filter.
  13. The appliance does not contain any serviceable parts inside. Do not attempt to open and repair the unit yourself. All components should only be serviced by a qualified technician.
  14. Do not use the appliance if the plug, power cable or unit itself are damaged. If the power cord is damaged, you must have it replaced at a service centre with qualified persons to avoid a hazard.
  15. Do not use the appliance for anything other than the intended use. It is for household use only. It is not to be used outdoors or for commercial purposes.
  16. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used near children. Keep the appliance and power cord out of reach of children when it is in operation.
  17. This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
    • Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices, and other working environments.
    • Farmhouses.
    • By clients in hotels, motels, and other residential type environments.
    • Bed and breakfast type environments
  18. This dehumidifier should be operated on a separate electrical power point from other operating appliances. If the power point is overloaded with other appliances, this dehumidifier may not work properly.
  19. Leave enough open space from other objects while in use. Do not block air intakes or exhausts. Keep the front inlet grill and the top outlet free from air blocking materials such as clothing, plastic bag, or any objects
  20. Do not place the appliance against a wall or against other appliances. Leave at least 5 inches of free space on the back and sides and above the appliance. Do not place anything on top of the appliance. Keep the front inlet grill and the top outlet free from air blocking materials such clothing, plastic bag, objects, etc.
  21. Do not cover the dehumidifier while in use.
  22. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of the table or counter.
  23. Do not unplug the dehumidifier by pulling on the cord.
  24. This appliance is not designed to be used by people (including children) with a physical, sensory, or mental impairment, or people without knowledge or experience, unless they are supervised. Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
  25. Do not leave the appliance operating while unattended.
  26. Never drop or insert any objects into the openings of the unit.

SHORT CORD INSTRUCTIONS
Do not use with an extension cord. A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risks resulting from being entangled in or tripping over a long cord.

PREPARATION FOR USE

Before using the dehumidifier for the first time:
Carefully unpack the dehumidifier and remove all the packing materials.
Place the dehumidifier on a flat and stable surface.
Use a soft cloth to remove any dust on the surface that may happen during packing and transport.

Instructions

  1. Inside the packaging, there should be 3 items:
    • a. Main unit
    • b. AC/DC Power adaptor
    • c. User’s manual
  2. Connect the power adapter to the dehumidifier and connect it to an outlet.
  3. Pressing for the first time, the indicator light will be turning to blue, and the dehumidifier starts to work. the colourful lights cyclically on working as well.
    • Pressing for the second time, one of the colourful lights can be locked.
    • Pressing for the third time, turn off the coloured lights.
    • Press a fourth time, the dehumidifier stops working and the top blue indicator light off.

Cleaning

Regularly clean the inside and outside of the body to prevent dust collecting on the inside and outside.

  1. Always unplug the dehumidifier before you clean it.
  2. Wipe away dust with a soft dry cloth from the body of the dehumidifier.
  3. Clean the air inlet and the air outlet with a soft dry cloth
  4. Never immerse the dehumidifier in liquid.
  5. Never use aggressive or flammable cleaning agents such as bleach or alcohol to clean any part of the dehumidifier.

Storage

Unplug the power cord, then wipe the dehumidifier clean, put the dehumidifier in a plastic bag and then store it away in a dry place.
