IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

The following safety precautions should always be followed, to reduce the risk of electric shock, personal injury or fire. It is important to read all of these instructions carefully before using the product, and to save them for future reference or new users.

  • This product must only be used as intended in accordance with the enclosed operating instructions.
  • Do not carry the appliance by the mains cable or pull the cable to remove the plug from the socket.
  • If the external flexible cable or cord of this luminaire is damaged, it shall be exclusively replaced by the manufacturer or his service agent or a similar qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
  • If the luminaire stops unexpectedly or appears to malfunction, switch off the power supply, unplug from the mains and stop using immediately. Seek professional advice to rectify the fault or make repairs.
  • Switch off the power supply or unplug from the mains socket when not in use, before cleaning or changing accessories.
  • Avoid positioning the luminaire where the power cable might be accidentally trapped or damaged.
  • Keep the luminaire and cable away from sources of heat, sharp objects or anything that may cause damage.
  • Ensure the luminaire is switched OFF before connecting the mains power supply.
  • Be aware that some surfaces may become hot. Do not touch hot surfaces and supervise others accordingly.
  • This product has not been designed for use by children. Children should be closely supervised at all times when they are near any electrical appliance.
  • To protect against electric shock, never allow the luminaire, the mains cable or plug to come into contact with water or any other liquid.
  • Never reach for any appliance that has fallen into water. Switch off the power supply at the mains immediately and unplug. Do not re-use until the product has been inspected and approved by a qualified electrician.
  • Always ensure that hands are dry before operating or adjusting any switch on the product or touching the plug and mains supply connections.
  • To disconnect, first ensure that all controls are in the OFF position, then remove the plug from the electricity supply.
  • Do not use outdoors. This luminaire has been designed for domestic indoor use only.
  • Use only a microfiber and dry cloth for cleaning the product.
  • Operate carefully to not cause any damage by dropping or physical shocking it.
  • Do not leave the product in excessive heat, high temperatures can cause the product to malfunction.
  • The light source of this luminaire is not replaceable; when the light source reaches its end of life the whole luminaire shall be replaced.
  • Use provided AC adaptor only.

**User Manual and installation for the LED Driver

**

(AC Adaptor):

  1. Before connecting the DC plug to the luminaire, make sure LED Driver (AC Adaptor) is plug off from mains and determine whether the voltage and current rating match the input of the luminaire.
  2. The power cord must be placed in an environment that will not be trampled or squeezed.
  3. To avoid overheating, install the LED driver (AC adaptor) in a wellventilated environment. If the adjacent luminaire primary heat source, it must be 10 cm minimum from the luminaire.
  4. If the luminaire is not in use for a long time, remove the LED driver (AC Adaptor) to prevent the luminaire from be in damaged by inductive lightning strike or voltage surge.
  5. See below for installation in recessed mounted. The LED Driver (AC adaptor) is classified as “Do-not-cover”. See note and diagram as below.
    (a)The minimum clearance distance from the top and sides of the LED driver (AC Adaptor) to normal flammable building elements is 100mm.
    (b)The LED driver (AC Adaptor) is not required to be mounted on a specific surface and has no additional installation requirements.anko-43259267-Multi-

Technical Data

Care And Maintenance

Switch the device off and disconnect the AC Adaptor from the socket before cleaning.
Clean the product with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use any form of abrasive cleaner or solvents to clean the unit.
Never dip the LED strip into liquids. Caution: Never use a damaged product (e.g, worn cable, cracked casing).

Storage

Always store the light in a dry area.

Battery Installation Remote Control

  • This item requires 2×1.5 V AAA batteries( Not included).
  • Battery installation by adult is required.

BATTERY WARNING

  • Batteries are to be inserted with correct polarity.
  • Do not mix different types of batteries or new and used batteries.
  • Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
  • Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervisor.
  • Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the product before being charged.
  • The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
  • Remove batteries from the product when not in use for extended time or when batteries become exhausted.
  • Dispose of batteries responsibly.
  • Do not dispose of in fire.
  • Plug the AC adaptor into mains (wall socket)

LED Strip Installation

Before adhering strip lights, clean the surface of the area you will be placing the lights on. It is recommended to apply your strip lights on smooth stable surfaces. It should not be placed on rough, textured or painted wall surfaces or any surfaces that can bend or move.

  • Remove the protective film from the double-sided adhesive tape.
  • Stick the LED strip on a clean, dry and grease-free surface.
  • Connect the DC plug into the LED strip socket.

Remote Control Functions

Parameter Switches
After pressing the IC Set key, you can repeatedly switch the LED triplets(it can control the LED operation from end (one time control 6 LED’S) and total 7 times only and up to 42 LED’S) off and on again by pressing the and keys from the end of the LED strip.
While the color change programs are in progress, pressing the and buttons wll increase or decrease the speed of the program sequentially.

Color selection buttons

  • CS 1 color press repeatedly to change the color (Choice of 16 Colors)
  • c3 3 Colors (R,G&B)
  • C7 7 colors
  • C16 16 colors
    Group of three LED’s are representative of the same color.

By pressing any of the color selection buttons you determine your light color preference, this color preference can be used in conjunction with the program buttons to select a desired light flashing sequence and direction of light flow.

Program Selection Buttons

  • Flash
    The luminous intensity of the LED’s on the fully illuminated strip constantly changes from minimum to maximum brightness with your choice of single color or up to 16 colors in conjunction with use of color selectio buttons.

  • Meteor
    At the beginning of the LED strip a group of 21 illuminated LEDs forms. The brightness of the LEDS steadily decreases towards the tail of the groupP This group of glowing LED’s moves towards the end of the LED strip and LED’s turn off when reaching end. Regrouping of glowing LED’s commences at this end now and moves back towards the start and repeating the cycle from the start point, used in caonjunction with color selection buttons.

  • Auto Select
    The Auto select with cycle through all programs and full color spectrum. In this mode program or color pre-selection is not possible.

  • Circulation
    Groups of various color LED, move from the beginning of the LED strip toward the end.

  • Jump
    Entire LED strip illuminates at maximum brightness and cycles On and Off, if single color is selected. With multiple color selection, it jumps to different colors but does not switch Off.

Light flow Direction Buttons

  • The fully iluminated LED strip progressively turns Off from the center of the strip outwards in both directions or in reverse turns On from ends to center. The left and right button determines the direction it starts from and travels to.
  • Groups of 21(Same color per group) LED’s run across the entire LED strip from Right to Left or Left to Right. The left and right button determines the direction it starts from and travels to.
  • Groups of 12 (Same color per group) LED’s run across the entire LED strip (On white lit back ground) from Right to Left or Left to Right. The left and right button determines the direction it starts from and travels to.
  • The LED strip lights up from Right to Left or Left to Right until entire strip is fully illuminated, at end of trail it turns Off and starts the next cycle. The left and right button determines the direction it starts from and travels to.
  • At the beginning or the end of the LED strip, a group of 21 illuminated LED’s are formed, this group then progresses along the length of the LED strip. The brightness of the tail group diminishes (To simulate meteor tail), when reaching end of the LED strip the lights will extinguish and a new cycle starts. The left or right buttons determines the direction it starts from and travels to.
