EQUIPMENT OVERVIEW

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

• Step 1 : Paste the decal of the area where you need to install the camera and place the hatch (Figure 1).
• Step 2 : Tighten the camera positioning screws (Figure 2).

SIGNAL CONNECTION INSTRUCTIONS

There are 2 ways to connect the device:

• Method 1 (Model B3110-0200): Use a network cable to connect from the PoE switch to the waiting RJ45 port, no need use 12VDC/1A source (Figure 1).
• Method 2 (Model B3100-0200): Use 12VDC/1A power and network wire from normal switch (Figure 2).

NOTES ON WATERPROOF FOR CAMERA

All wiring connections when installed must be placed in a technical box, protected from the effects of time weather and the human factor

SET PASSWORD

• The camera’s IP address is set according to the IP dynamic allocation mechanism (DHCP). You need to use AI View software Scanner to search the camera’s IP.

• If the network infrastructure for the camera is not connected to the DHCP server. The camera will have a default IP of 192.168.1.168
  Note : To complete the installation steps for the camera, please refer to the WebUI User Manual.

• The system will ask you to reset the password for the product the first time you access it.

• When the “Administrator password change” window appears, enter the new password

  • For passwords with 8 to 9 characters, you need to use at least 3 types of characters: uppercase/lowercase characters, numbers and special characters.
  • For passwords with 10 to 15 characters, you need to use at least 2 of them

• Special characters include : ~ ` ! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) _ – = + | { } [ ] . ? /

Attention:

• To ensure security, please do not repeat characters in the password.
• If you forget your password, you can hold the RESET button for 10 seconds to return to the default home settings manufacture.

INSTALL SOFTWARE

• Login screen INSTALL SOFTWARE
• When you access the camera, the login window will appear.
• Enter Account and password to access the camera.

SAFETY INFORMATION

The user needs to follow the following notes for the device to work correctly.

Attention:

• It is recommended to use a shielded network cable (STP).
• CAT5e or higher network cable is recommended.
• Store the camera in a cool and dry environment.
• Avoid subjecting the camera to shocks or being weighed down by heavy objects.
• Do not mount the camera on unstable poles, stands, surfaces or walls.
• Do not use chemicals or detergents on the device.
• Use a damp cloth to clean.
• Only use standard tools and accessories when installing camera equipment. Manufacturers recommend
• It is recommended to use the manufacturer’s power supply equipment or the corresponding power source suitable for the product.
• Careless installation may cause damage to the product.
• Contact Bkav customer support or Bkav authorized dealers when having problems.
• This device has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a class A digital device, under section 15 FCC Rules. This limit is designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference when the device is operate in the commercial market.
• Equipment that generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy. If not installed according to manual, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. The operation of equipment in the area population is likely to cause harmful interference, in which case the user will have to correct the interference on their own wave at my own expense
