System Requirements

To use this mouse, your computer must meet the following hardware requirements and run one of the operating systems listed below.

  • PC with a Pentium processor or equivalent AMD processors
  • USB 2.0
  • WIN XP/WIN Vista/WIN 7/WIN 8/WIN10/Linux
    Note: The scroll wheel only works under the operating systems listed above. If you use the mouse under a different operating system, the mouse may either not work or lose its enhanced features.

DPI Switch

The mouse supports 1000/1500/2500/4000/7200DPI. To change the DPI setting, press the DPI button. The default setting is 1000 DPI and LED indicator shows red colour. Click the “DPI” button on the top of the mouse once to change the DPI. The LED will change from Red (DPI 1000), Blue (DPI 1500), Green (DPI 2500), Purple (DPI 4000), Yellow (DPI 7200) one by one.

  2. Click “Install” to start installation.

  3. Click “Next Step”

  4. Click “Install” then click “Finish”.

  5. Double click the software icon after installation is completed.

Button Setting

Mouse button: Click, Menu, Universal Scroll, Forward, Backward, DPI+, DPI-. Multimedia: Open Media player, Next Track, Previous Track, Stop, Play/Pause, Mute, Volume Up, Volume Down.
Basic Commands: New, Cut, Copy, Paste, Save, Print, Find, Redo, Undo, Select All. Additional Commands: My computer, Web Home, Search Computer, Maximized, Minimized, Show Desktop, Run.
Parameter: DPI, Mouse Point Speed, Mouse Double Click Speed, Mouse Scroll Speed, Polling Rate setting.

Examples

  1. Mouse button setting If you would like to set up for “Menu”, click it first and a drop-down menu will appear as below. Then choose the setting you need, click “Apply” to save the setting.

  2. DPI setting If you would like to set up for “Menu”, click it first and a drop-down menu will appear. Select “DPI setting” and a new drop-down menu appears as below, then you can select the action needed, click “Apply” to save the setting.

  3. Multimedia setting If you would like to set up for “Menu”, click it first and a drop-down menu will appear. Select “Multimedia Commands”, a new drop-down menu appears as below, then you can select the action needed, click “Apply” to save the setting.

  4. Basic setting If you would like to set up for “Menu”, click it first and a drop-down menu will appear. Select “Basic Commands” and a new drop-down menu appears as below, then you can select the action needed, click “Apply” to save the setting.

  5. Additional setting If you would like to set up for “Menu”, click it first and a drop-down menu will appear. Select “Additional Commands”, a new drop-down menu appears as below, then you can select the action needed, click “Apply” to save the setting.

  6. Assign Keyboard Key setting If you would like to set up for “Assign Keyboard Key”, click it first and a pop-up window will appear. Then you can input the keys needed, click “Apply” to save the setting.

  7. Macro setting If you would like to set up for “Macro”, click it first and a drop-down menu will appear as below. Then select the pre-set Macro. Click “Apply” to save the setting when exit the software. Note: The macro must be pre-set first, so it will show on the list of “Macro manager”.

GM269-V2 software supports 7 macro settings.
New Macro setting: Click “Macro manager”

  1. Click “New” to create a macro, when the pop-up window appears, input the keys needed. Take “a” for example, input “a” then press “Click” to save the macro.

  2. Click “Start Recording” to set up the macro. Input the keys needed and click ” Stop Recording ” to save. Then click “OK” to save the setting. Click “Apply” to save the settings before exiting the software.

  3. You can modify the macro by click “Right Button” to modify the key action. Once finish modification then click “OK” to save the setting. Click “Apply”, “OK” to save the settings before exiting the software.

  4. You can choose additional functions “Number of Loops”, “Record delay between keystrokes” before or after macro recording. Then click “OK” to save the setting. Click “Apply” to save the settings before exiting the software.

  5. You can delete the macro from the list. Simply select the captioned macro and click “Delete”. Then click “OK” to save the setting. Click “APPLY” to save the settings before exiting the software.

  6. After finish macro recording, go to main interface, choose the button you need, select “Macro” when the pop-up window appears, Click Eland the saved macro will appear on the drop-down menu. Select the macro you need, then click “Apply” to save the settings, the macro for captioned key is ready for use.

Parameter Setting
You can adjust the speed of “DPI Setting”, “Lighting”, ” Polling Rate”, ” Mouse Speed”, “Double-Click Speed”, ” Scroll Speed” in this section, click “Apply” to save the setting.

Profile Setting
GM269-V2 supports 6 profiles setting.

Reset Factory
Default Select the profile you need, click “Reset” and “OK”.

TeckNet GM269-Black-V2 supports 6 profiles. You should define each profile first, click “Apply” to save the profile.

Export Profile

  1. You can export the profile after saving a profile, click “Save”.

  2. A pop-up window will show up, you can select a captioned folder to keep the profile, then click “Save”.

Load
You can load the saved profile into the software. Simply click “Load “, a pop- up window will show up as below, select the folder with saved profile, then select the captioned profile, click “Open” to load.

Rest: Click “Rest”, all the profile setting will return the default setting.

Uninstallation
Open the control panel and click “Procedures and Functions”. Select “GM269-Black-V2” and double click to uninstall.

Shenzhen Unichain Technology Co., LTD. (Manufacturer: “Unichain”) warrants to the original purchaser of this TeckNet product that the product shall be free of defects in design, assembly, material, or workmanship.

Unichain warrants the TeckNet product for 18 Months.

What will we do to correct problems?
Unichain will repair or replace, at its option, any defective product free of charge (except for shipping charges for the product).

What is not covered by this warranty?
All above warranties are null and void if the TeckNet product is not provided to Unichain for inspection upon Unichain’s request at the sole expense of the purchaser, or if Unichain determines that the TeckNet product has been improperly installed, altered in any way, or tampered with. The TeckNet Product Warranty does not protect against acts of God such as flood, earthquake, lightning, war, vandalism, theft, normal-use wear and tear, erosion, depletion, obsolescence, abuse, damage due to low voltage disturbances (i.e. brownouts or sags), non-authorized program, or system equipment modification or alteration.
