Thank you for purchasing this ACCUR8 product. This user manual is to be
considered a component of the device. Read carefully before using the device.
Keep in a safe place for future reference. When the device is sold or given to
someone else, the user manual must be provided to the new owner/user of the
product.

General Safety Instructions
Risk of electric shock
Only use the device as described in the manual; otherwise, you run the risk of
an electric shock.
- Children must only use the device under adult supervision.
- Before starting up the device, check the device for signs of damage.
- Never use a damaged device or a device with damaged live parts. Damaged parts must be replaced by an authorised service company.
- Only use the display console in completely dry environment and do not touch it with wet or moist parts of your body.
Risk of suffocation/choking
Improper use of this product can result in suffocation, especially for
children. The following safety information must be observed at all times.
- Keep packaging materials (plastic bags, rubber bands etc.) away from children. They can cause suffocation.
- This product contains small parts that could be swallowed by children. There is a risk of choking.
Risk of damage to property
Improper handling can result in damage to the device and/or to the
accessories. Always observe the following safety information when using the
device:
- Never disassemble the device. In the event of a fault, please contact your retailer.
- Do not expose this device to high temperatures and protect it from water and high humidity.
- Do not immerse the unit in water.
- Protect the device from severe shocks or excessive vibrations.
- For this device, only use accessories and spare parts that comply with the technical information.
- Use only the recommended batteries. Always replace weak or empty batteries with a new, complete set of batteries at full capacity. Do not use batteries from different brands or with different capacities. Remove the batteries from the unit if it has not been used for a long time.
- Rechargeable batteries are not recommended.
Risk of voltage damage
The manufacturer is not liable for voltage damage due to improperly inserted
batteries.

- Eight languages for Day of Week display (Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Denmark, Russia, English)
Controls
- SNZ/LIGHT button
- MODE button
- ALARM button
- UP button
- DOWN button
Initial Setup
- Remove battery cover and insert three AAA batteries (batteries not included). Once the batteries are inserted, you have 3 minutes to complete steps 2 and
- Don’t worry if you run out of time. It’s easy to start over!
- Remove back cover of the remote transmitter.
- Install two AAA batteries into transmitter.
- Once the batteries are inserted into the remote transmitter, the red light will turn on. Once the red light disappears, the temperature reading of that transmitter will be displayed on the screen.
Radio-controlled Time Setting
Important notes:
- It can help to place the display console near an open window when carrying out the above.
- When searching for the radio-controlled time signal, the display screen will be dimmed.
In Normal mode, press MODE button to start or stop receiving the radio- controlled time signal. When successfully receiving the DCF RCC signal, set the time zone for the UK:
- Press and hold the MODE button for approximately three seconds to enter the Time Setting mode. Digits to be set will flash.
- Press the DOWN button once to set the time zone to “-1”.
- Exit the setting mode and the correct UK time will be shown.
Manual Time Setting
- Press and hold the MODE button for approximately three seconds to enter time setting mode.
- Digits to be set are flashing.
- Press UP or DOWN button to change the value.
- Press the MODE button to confirm and continue to the next setting.
- Finally press the MODE button to save the settings and exit the setting mode.
Settings order: Time zone > 24hr/12hr > Hours > Minutes > Year > Month > Day > °C/°F > Barometric unit > Language for week display > Country > City.
Alarm Time Setting
- In Normal mode, press the ALARM button once to enter the Alarm mode.
- In Alarm mode, press ALARM button again to turn on or turn off the Alarm.
- In Alarm mode, press and hold the ALARM button for approximately three seconds to enter the Alarm time setting mode. Digits to be set are flashing. Press UP or DOWN button to change the value. Press MODE button to confirm and continue to the next setting. Settings order: Hour > Minute.
In Alarm mode, Press the MODE button to return to Normal mode.
MAX/MIN Temperature and Humidity
- In normal mode, Press the UP button to check the Max and Min temperature and humidity records.
- In Max/Min temperature and humidity mode, press and hold the UP button for approximately three seconds to clear the record.
Replacing Transmitter Batteries / Receive New Readings
If you have replaced the batteries on a remote transmitter, or would like to
receive updated readings, press and hold the DOWN button for approximately
three seconds. After three seconds, you will see “—“. Regaining new readings
can take up to three minutes.
SNZ/LIGHT
- Press the SNZ/LIGHT button once to turn on the backlight for 10 seconds.
- When the alarm rings, press the SNZ/LIGHT button to enter the snooze function.
Weather Forecast
The unit predicts weather conditions for the next 12 – 24 hours, based on
atmospheric pressure change and is about 70-75% correct.

- Operating temperature range 0°C to 50°C (32°F to 122°F)
- Accuracy ± 1 degrees Celsius 0°C to 50°C (32°F to 122°F)
Indoor Humidity
- Operating humidity range 1% RH to 99%RH
- Accuracy +/- 5% RH (@25°C, 30%RH to 80%RH)
- Accuracy +/- 8% RH (@25°C, 20%RH to 29%RH and 80%RH to 95%RH)
- Accuracy +/-12% RH (@25°C, 1%RH to 19%RH and 96%RH to 99%RH)
Outdoor Temperature
- Operating temperature range -30°C to 60°C (-22°F to 140°F)
- Accuracy ± 1 Degrees Celsius from 0°C to 50°C (32°F to 122°F)
- Accuracy ± 2 Degrees Celsius from -30°C to 0°C (-22°F to 32°F) and 50°C to 60°C (122°F to 140°F)
Outdoor Humidity
- Operating humidity range 1% RH to 99%RH
- Accuracy +/- 5% RH (@25°C, 20%RH to 90%RH)
- Accuracy +/- 8% RH (@25°C, 20%RH to 30%RH and 80%RH to 95%RH)
- Accuracy +/-12% RH (@25°C, 1%RH to 19%RH and 96%RH to 99%RH)

Do not dispose of electronic devices in the household rubbish! Used electronic
devices must be collected separately and recycled in an environmentally
friendly manner.
Do not dispose of batteries and rechargeable batteries with the household
waste. After they are used, the batteries can be returned to our point of sale
or to a nearby location (for example, retailers or municipal collecting
points).
Batteries and rechargeable batteries are marked with a symbol of a crossed-out
dustbin and the chemical symbol of the pollutant. “Cd” stands for Cadmium,
“Hg” stands for mercury and “Pb” stands for lead.
