DEAR CUSTOMER,
Your appliance is exceptionally easy to use and extremely efficient. Before
being packaged and leaving the manufacturer, the appliance was thoroughly
checked with regard to safety and functionality.
Before using the appliance, please carefully read these Operating Instructions
Symbols appearing in these instructions have the following meaning:
- Important information concerning proper operation of the appliance and your personal safety.
- Risks resulting from improper operation of the appliance. Activities that must be performed by a qualified technician.
- Tips on how to use the appliance.
- Information on how to protect the environment..

operation of the appliance.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Important! To minimize the risk of fire, electric shock or injury:
Carefully read this instruction before using the appliance.
Do not immerse the body of the appliance in water or other liquids. Immersing
in water may cause an electric shock.
If water spills on the external components of the appliance, dry it thoroughly
before switching back on. Do not touch wet surfaces in contact with the
appliance connected to power supply, immediately disconnect it from the mains.
Do not use the appliance if it shows any signs of da- mage to the power cord,
or if the appliance has been dropped on the floor.
After use, always pull out the plug from the socket, and also in case of any
malfunction, before cleaning or be- fore changing accessories.
When pulling out the plug from the wall outlet, never pull by the cord, only
the plug, holding the socket with your other hand.
The appliance is Class I fire protection electrical equipment.
Do not attempt to remove any parts of the housing.
To prevent damage to the power cord, do not place it over sharp edges or close
to hot surfaces.
Do not expose the appliance to rain or humidity, and do not use it outdoors.
Do not operate the appliance with wet hands.
If the power cord or plug is damaged, it should be re- placed by a
professional repair shop in order to avoid hazard.
Never place the appliance on hot surfaces.
Using attachments that were not supplied with the pro- duct may cause damage
to the appliance.
Take caution when cleaning the attachments.
Never leave the appliance connected to the mains without supervision.
Pull the plug from the wall outlet before replacing accessories.
This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and older or by persons
with physical, mental or sensory handicaps, or by those who are inexperienced
or unfamiliar with the appliance, provided they are super- vised or have been
instructed how to safely use the appliance and are familiar with risks
associated with the use of the appliance.
Ensure that children do not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance
of the appliance should not be performed by children unless they are 8 years
or older and are supervised by a competent person.
The surface on which the appliance is used shall be levelled, clean and dry.
Press and hold the power switch (Fig. 1, item 1 or 2) to turn on the
appliance. To stop the appliance press the button (Fig. 1, item 3). The
complete appliance shut- down is possible by disconnecting the appliance from
the power supply.
Before use, extend and straighten the power cord.
Use the appliance on a flat, stable surface.
Do not use an extension cord that does not meet the applicable standards and
regulations.
Do not use the toaster without the pull-out crumb tray (fig. 3). Clean the
crumb tray regularly. Do not allow excessive accumulation of crumbs on a tray.
Do not put aluminium foil or other objects inside the unit, this may result in
electric shock or fire.
Do not use the appliance for room heating.
Do not use the device for other purposes than intended.
Exercise caution, do not touch any hot surfaces of the sandwich maker. Don’t
store or cover your appliance unless it has completely cooled down.
Do not put the appliance on a hot gas or electric hob or in their vicinity, or
in places where it could come into contact with other sources of heat.
Caution: bread may burn. When using the sandwich maker provide adequate
space above the appliance and on its sides for proper air circulation. The
appliance in operation must not come in contact with the curtains, wall
coverings, clothing, paper towels or other flammable materials. On surfaces
sensitive to high temperatures, it is recommended to use an insulated heat
pad.
Do not use the appliance for toasting food products containing sugar,
processed fruit or preservatives.
Warning! Do not pull out stuck bread with a knife or other tool, as
contact with live parts may result in fatal electric shock. Wait until the
appliance is cold, unplug from the power outlet and carefully remove bread.
Important! This equipment is not designed for operation with external time
switches or a separate remote control system.
The appliance is designed for heating or thawing bread, do not use it for
other purposes.
Do not touch the surface marked with the symbol when the appliance is on or
after operation. These sur- faces become hot (Fig. 2).
Electrical requirements
Make sure that the voltage indicated on the nameplate corresponds to that of
your home electrical mains.
Alternating current must be used, typically marked ~.
DISPOSING/SCRAPPING OF USED EQUIPMENT
UNPACKING
During transportation,
protective packaging was used to protect the appliance against any damage.
After unpacking, please dispose of all elements of packaging in a way that
will not cause damage to the environment.
All materials used for packaging the appliance are environmentally friendly;
they are 100% recyclable and are marked with the appropriate symbol.
Important! Packaging materials (bags, polyethylene, polystyrene, etc.) should be kept away from children during unpacking.
DISPOSAL OF OLD APPLIANCE
In accordance with European Directive 2012/19/EU and local legislation
regarding used electrical and electronic goods, this appliance is marked with
the symbol of the crossed-out waste container. This marking indicates that the
appliance must not be disposed of together with other household waste after it
has been used.
The user is obliged to hand it over to waste collec tion centre collecting
used electrical and electron ic goods. The collectors, including local
collection points, shops and local authority departments pro vide recycling
schemes.
Proper handling of used electrical and electronic goods helps avoid
environmental and health hazards resulting from the presence of dangerous
components and the inappropriate storage and processing of such goods.
OPERATION

Toasting function

Connect the appliance to the power outlet.

In the slots (Fig. 1, item 7) put up to two slices of bread or other baked product.

Set the desired level of browning with the knob/slider (Fig. 1, item 4). When using the toaster for the first time, we suggest to set the browning level in the middle of the scale.
Then select other setting, depending on the type of bread and personal preference.
You might experience problems with pulling out smaller products after toasting, to pull out bread from the slots, lift the up/down lever (Fig. 1, item 6) approx. 20 mm above the default position. -
Press the up/down lever to the bottom until you feel resistance and hear a click. Toasting cycle will start automatically when the reset button is blue.
Note: if the toaster is unplugged from the power outlet, and no function has been selected, the lever will not catch in a proper place. -
Press the heating button (Fig. 1, item 1).

The appliance will turn off after achieving the set bread browning level. You can stop the toasting process at any time pressing the reset button (Fig. 1, item 3).
In an unlikely event of bread or roll jam in the appliance, turn off the power supply, pull the plug from the wall outlet. When the appliance is completely cold, carefully pull out bread from the toaster making sure not to damage the heaters.
Thaw function

In the slots (Fig. 1, item 7) put up to two slices of bread or other baked product.

Bun warming feature
- Do not use the bun warming rack to thaw frozen toast, warm up buttered bread or filled bread rolls.
- Use the bun warming rack (8) to warm and bake your buns.
- Place the buns on the bun warming rack.
- Set the browning level to 1-2 (depending on your preference), then push down the lever.
- Press the toasting lever down until it locks into place. You can remove the buns from the bun warming rack when the toasting lever pops up.
Note! The bun warming rack becomes very hot.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Before any cleaning or maintenance, make sure that the appliance is disconnected from the power source and completely cold.
- Do not use corrosive or abrasive products for cleaning. Use only clean water with mild detergent.
- Wipe the appliance body with a damp cloth, under any circumstances, do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids, do not wash with water jet. Thoroughly dry the appliance after cleaning.
- To remove crumbs from the toaster, slide out the crumb tray (Fig. 3), empty it and then fit into place.
- To remove crumbs from inside the appliance, flip the appliance over the sink and shake gently. Crumbs that were inside the appliance should be removed.
Clean the crumb tray regularly after each use (Fig. 3). Do not allow excessive accumulation of crumbs, it may cause fire.
